This is a proposed strategic RPG where instead of acting out a single character you're roleplaying as an entire inter-stellar civilization.
Create your own Sci-Fi civilization
Explore
Interact with other civilizations
Conquer
Grow


Within some constraints you're allowed to imagine your own sci-fi race/civilization.
You want fish aliens? You can get it.
Sentient machines? Done deal.
The point is to make the overall setting balanced. No player controlled civilization should be able to take over the galaxy at once.
You can be tiny planetary civilization, space nomads or even a sizable power in the galaxy.
It all depends on your style only.
You can engage in diplomacy, trade, war and many other things.
However you interact with other civilization and whether it succeeds depends on just you and the other players.
The game's objective not to defeat everyone but rather to manage your civilization to prosperity.

If I may, I would love to join in on a Sci-fi NRP.

I wanted to try out a sentient machine race for a while now but never really could fit it in any Sci-fi RPs that popped up. I'm hoping that I might be able to in this one~

Well, one of the main NPC factions is going to be the Imperium Galactis AKA the Galaxian Empire
They'd be the main "human" faction with their homeworld being Earth, nowadays called Terra Sacra.
A long time ago their dominion spread all over the galaxy, using a network of Giant Galaxian Gates (G3) to quickly travel anywhere in the Milky Way.
But then series of alien rebellions and civil wars reduced the Empire to only a shadow of itself, with most of its superior technology forgotten.
They are still a major power, controlling much of the Sagittarius and Orion arms of the galaxy.
They are warlike with massive fleets and economy supporting them yet overall they lack flexibility.
The Empire acts slow but with almost unrivaled military might.

Oh, I forgot that your civilization is also quite warlike.
Yeah, you're free to attack the Empire whenever if you don't fear a retort.
If you want you can also involve in your civilization profile that your race is constantly at war with them.

On the other hand please don't make your race too powerful for some misaligned motivation to "be the best" or "win" this game.
These kind of RPs are never about that.
Personally I think it's better to have the largest civilizations to be outside of the player's control.
