[IC] The final fight

Krios was humming to himself on the bridge as he kept his fingers flying over the buttons. It was a normal routine like always though this was going to be way different with the reapers and all coming after them. He had already gave his report to Anderson a few minutes ago.

Sera finally found the stairs to the third floor and walked up to it looking around at all the crew members and what they were doing. Everything was pretty relaxed around here, or at least how it acted. She guessed that they all just worked when the time was needed. Yeah, that had to be it or else they all would have died a while ago.

Krios yawned, but shook his head. He could get his sleep on shore leave, Anderson needed him to pilot the ship right now. "Nice to see your back krios and in one piece," krios smiled. "What the krogan going soft or what wrex?" He heard a chuckle behind him, "I swear on the ancients that sarcasm of yours can kill batarians." They both laughed, "it's good to be back on here again."

Sera walked up to one of the crew members and started to talk to someone. She found out their name was Roger. His name was very plain she thought.

Krios popped his neck, before putting the ship onto auto pilot. He went to his quarters on deck three changing out of his gear into a black shirt and pants wearing the uniforms boots though. That's the only thing he wore that was alliance, he let out a sigh.

Sera finished talking to the man before going and walking around some more. Eventually she bumped into krios not really looking where she going. She took a step back after she bumped into him and looked at him. "Oh it's just you."

Krios just nodded, "yah it's just me." He wasn't wearing the alliance uniform it was just his regular civilian clothes. Even though everyone seemed laid back they weren't not all of them, everyone would be ready in a second to get what they were ordered to do done.

"You weren`t kidding about wearing civilian clothing." Sera replied and looked around her voice same as always. She didn`t seem to be one to show her outer emotions. Although that was how she was raised. She was raised as a soldier to show no emotions and most importantly no fear. You did as told or were beaten as punishment for not doing so.

Krios shrugged, "I wasn't I know what I'm talking about." He let out a sigh, rubbing the back of his head. You better get ready we'll be at the citadel in maybe twenty minutes." With that he started to walk back to the bridge, he waved his hand behind him. Turning the auto pilot off he got back to getting the ship to the citadel.

Sera watched him and wondered what he meant by get ready. There was nothing to get ready for when she was already. Her equipment was already on her belt and it wasn`t like she was changing clothes.

Krios sighed, as he quickly said what needed to be said in order to dock in the citadel. He docked the Normandy, quickly getting to Anderson's side. The council wanted him and Anderson to give there report straight to the council. He sighed, "you ready to deal with these people again john?" Krios nodded, "I am Anderson." With that they started making there way toward the place they would give there report of course people could watch if they wanted.

Sera walked out on to the main ship stretching before heading down the halls to her small apartment type thing. All she wanted to do was get into comfy clothes and go to sleep. The past couple hours had drained the life from her. Finally getting to her place she scanned her hand showing it was her before the door opened and she walked inside. The space was small be spacious the way she`d arranged it. The higher ranked you are the better place you got if you lived alone. Although she wouldn`t get more then the size a family started out with. People with families needed a lot more room then she did so her place was smaller in comparison. It didn`t bother her much it`s just how things worked.

Krios and Anderson had gotten done speaking with the council, he rubbed his face they thought it was a myth. He sighed they were fools if they believed that, he was on shore leave for now while Anderson got things straightened out, he went to the cafe buying himself a soda.

Sera took a shower and changed into a short nightgown then grabbed a bottle of water from the fridge in her small kitchen before falling on to the couch a towel wrapped around her neck. She unscrewed the cap and drank a lot of the cold drink before laying her head back the waterbottle sitting on her leg as she looked up at the ceiling taking deep breaths while she relaxed.

Krios maybe have a day or so of shore leave before getting back onto the Normandy, he sighed it had been a long day for him. He got to his room, once he was laying on his bed he was out cold. By morning he was just, leaning against the wall as he watched shuttle cars and other things fly past him at the docking bay where the Normandy was docked.

After finishing the water Sera had gone to bed walking up late for once and laying in bed looking out the window in her room for hours. The only time she actually got out of bed was when her stomach growled. "Well I guess I need food." She said and sighed getting out of bed and dressing in her uniform but not bothering with any gear except her light sword. It was small enough that it didn`t matter if she kept it on her person. Walking out into the hall she walked to the store down the many halls. After that looked around for stuff to buy for the next day or so.

Krios sighed, he felt something bump into him. "Hey! Watch where yo-" the rest of it trailed off once he had seen who it was, "sorry about that sera." He let out a sigh, crossing his arms over his chest, "I guess I wasn't really paying attention to who bumped into me with what's on my mind right now."

Sera looked at him trying to focus on what just happened. She was in a bit of a daze for some reason. "It`s fine I wasn`t looking where I was going." She replied. "How`d the meeting go with the council? Did they believe you or did they think it was myth too?"

Krios sighed, "they thought it was a myth there going to regret that this next year Anderson's trying to get them to listen if he can't he'll get all the species to work as one before this whole fight starts leaving in maybe three to four hours at the most." He sighed, crossing his arms over his chest.

"So you guys are going to be leaving soon?" Sera asked as she picked up a pouch of juice and put it in the basket she got when she came in. Her fridge was currently only filled with water at the moment and that wasn`t good when it came to hunger.
