Welcome to Sword Art Online! (SAO) is a Virtual Reality Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game (VRMMORPG), released in 2022. With the Nerve Gear, a virtual reality helmet that stimulates the user's five senses via their brain, The first game ever to be able to control your character like you were in the game yourself! Make friends, go on quests, form guilds, go on dates and even get Married and buy a home! (marriage not bound legally outside of game) The world is yours for the taking, with amazing worlds which you can interact with just about everything.
On November 6, 2022, you and the first 10,000 players log into SAO for the first time, and later discover that they are unable to log out. You are then informed by Akihiko Kayaba, SAO's creator, that if you wish to be free, someone must reach the 100th floor of the game's tower and defeat the final boss. Also your Avatars have been stripped and your Nerve Gear has scanned your body and made an exact copy for your real body, and the abilities of your body. And whats more, the stakes have raised in the game, the pain simulator, which is only to give you slight shocks if you are hit in the game (to make it more realistic because no one wants to be shocked) has been cranked up to a dangerous level as you actually feel exactly what the wound would feel in real life, and whats worse...if you were to die in-game or be forcefully disconnected from the outside world, your real bodies will die. Will you survive and make it back home?
Soo this is based on the tv series /novels Sword Art Online, which i just found and instantly liked the idea. Those who have seen it or read it, it will basically be the same plot, but not from the main characters point of view, so no cannon characters allowed. Either they are apart of it or not even in the story at all, we can either start from the beginning or be a few months into the game, we can have relationships between characters or just meet up. (I kinda like having relationships at the start, makes it more interesting i think to have siblings or what ever from the real world.)
I am open to ideas and comments about quests and story lines, that give your character spotlight, and blending story lines together, so don't be afriad of asking I'm willing to work with (mostly) anything. I would like this to be Advanced but i also have this in Casual, it will be an advanced casual though (i've been seeing some pretty short posts in casual lately...sooo yeah please say if your interested and ill put it up!
