Yes you can but the Magi's place is Avalon, they will very rarely leave it. Also, you might be forced to attack it sooner or later and that would ruin all chances of an alliance!

Powers:
Sense other peoples emotions

Manipulate emotions of humans and animals:
-Change the emotion someones feeling
-create emotions they aren't feeling
-bring out hidden emotions
-nullify someones emotions
-change someones emotions for someone else/destroy trust

Weaknesses:
-She can only manipulate people's emotions when they are around her. Her control fades after they leave the room/building. (the distance depends on how strong the person is and how much she wants them to have that emotion. Minimum space is a room though)
-Her powers don't work when she's asleep
-Her powers work by willpower so if she likes someone it's unlikely she will try to control their emotions
-Too egotistic about her powers that she's not subtle at all
-She's squishy and doesn't know how to fight

Brief history: An artist who once worked at a boring old cafe got her powers and became a metahuman at 20. She then started to realize she could make people do nearly anything she wanted. Getting ridiculous tips at work quickly went to selling her paintings at galleries to thinking she was a God and could control all those around her. This quickly ended her up in a physch ward with the label of an artist with a delusion of grandeur that is a danger to herself and others around her.
