Hades looked at her, he gave a small smile. "Well letting him hear your voice will help him get his thoughts together come on we must go before were late for the ferry and we don't need you missing it." He waved his hand shadows encircled them both, before the were on a small wooden dock. "don't fall into the water this river is the river of suffering for the most foul souls that have done wrong here I must leave you once the ferry comes he will take you to the court to be judged." Hades disappeared after saying that.

Thedas had his arm over his eyes, trying to get his thoughts to get together the sooner the better. They didn't need him hiding in the room forever, like he said he would only take the rest of today off. Lauralyes words kept rining in his head, he sighed trying to get his mind off of her for now it would do no good for thinking about her and what she was doing right now.

Lauralye was staring at the empty space when Hades once stood before looking around. She wished that she could see some way to get out... Someway to return to Robert... Someway not to stay here... But she knew there was no way. Even if there was, she didn't know how far she was from Robert and if she wasn't in the castle, she wouldn't know how to find him. A small ring drew her attention out of her thoughts and to the boat that had just arrived at the end of the dock. She sighed and walked over to it and climbed in sitting across from the ferry man.

Then they were heading across the river and Lauralye could feel herself tensing... What did Hades mean by judge? Would she be sent to suffer for the rest of eternity? What if Robert and her weren't sent to the same place in the underworld? What if they never found each other again?

Thedas, sighed sitting up. His thoughts were back in place, now the whole we have to get a new leader. Stuff, getting up and getting his armor back on tucking his helmet under his arm as he walked out. Seeing people running about in chaos, "stop!" Everyone froze in there tracks looking at him, "now it doesn't have to be if need be I'll take the throne. But if I can get my cousin Conner here he will be taking it just give me a few days and it'll work I promise to you now just head out with normal activities." The people nodded, then ran back to where they were before to get back to work.

The court that judged people was large and completely black except for the blue torches that allowed light to filter in. Hades sat in the throne, at the opposite side of the entrance looking bored. While he judged a few of the other people there, before lauralye came I'm, "ah there you are. Well with the background you have and what you've done your going to Elysium it's a place where it's almost like the normal world except without and time passing by well time passes by but you won't know."

Lauralye walked into the court with her arms wrapped around her waist. She stood in line with people who seemed to be insane and probably had done less than kind things in their lives. She tried to not make eye contact as she moved through the line. Finally, she arrived in the court. She looked up to see Hades and bit her lip. He sentenced her to Elysium and from how he explained it, it didn't seem all that bad. She nodded her head and went to leave before stopping, "There is no way that I'm going to see Ro-Thedas before he dies... is there?"

Hades shook his head, "no plus the fates have already sentenced how his life is going to end." He sighed slightly, his hand supporting his chin. Waving his hand, the other people could wait for now. He assigned another person to judge, before he walked toward Lauralye. "You won't and I'm sorry for that."

Lauralye looked up at Hades, a little surprised that he was taking this time with her.... She may have been the girl that his estranged son had fallen in love with but she wasn't Robert. He had already bent the rules, she was sure of it, to allow her to speak to Robert one last time... To let him hear her. She sniffled a little, she feeling ridiculous crying in front of a god. She rubbed under her nose, "I figured... It's just.... That I miss him... and I know he misses me and that almost hurts more than missing him..."

She looked at the ground and took a deep breath, "He... doesn't take his own life does is?" She asked hoping that he'd answer it because she didn't ask for the full details.

Hades shook his head, "no he doesn't take his own life I can promise you that all I know is that he dies at the age he's at or whenever the demons decide the full attack." He didn't like the idea of his son dying, he was The Lord of death for crying out loud. Still like any father would he wanted his son to live his life to the fullest of his abilities.

Lauralye stared wide eyed at the Lord of the Dead, "No..." She said quietly, "He... He can't die now..." She hated to say it but for a moment, she had actually been relieved... She wouldn't have to wait long for Robert. Those feelings were quickly replaced with nausea. Robert was just a year older than her and that wasn't an age to die at. Neither of them were supposed to die... They were supposed to die seventy years in the future. They were supposed to have children, a happy marriage, a loving kingdom, and a life. She looked up at Hades, "He hasn't even lived... Surely... Surely you can do something... Fate doesn't have to be written in stone.... Please..."

Hades shook his head, "I can't his fate is already written out by the fates. Believe me I want to change it, but I can't.......I'm sorry." He had his hands clenched at the end of that, his son was going to die he didn't like it but the fates controlled his destiny not him even The Lord of death couldn't stop fate no matter what, he tried it would end out the same.

Lauralye sobbed and covered her face. As much as she wished to be with Robert, she didn't want him to die before he lived like she had. As she managed to calm herself, she wrapped her arms around her waist, "I won't forget him before he is here, right?" She had heard stories from people about how your memory diminishes in the afterlife to make it easier... To not long for your life. Of course, there was no way of her knowing that any of that was true.. not until this moment. She sniffled, she had far to many questions that she believed that she didn't have time to ask, "Will it hurt?" Her death had hurt but only for a moment, "Can... can I be there with him when he goes?" She was sobbing again, she didn't want any of this to happen... She felt helpless in it all.

Hades shook his head, "you won't your going to Elysium after all. I don't know if it will hurt or not, I just know what the fates have told me." He thought for a moment before sighing, "alright you can be there when he goes lauralye you can but that's all I can give you on that." He sighed, running his fingers through his hair.

Lauralye took a deep breath before letting it out a moment later, "Thank you," She said quietly.

She looked at the door that led to the place that she was expected to go and sighed, "I suppose... I should go... until then..."

She turned around and in a moment of complete insanity, she hugged Hades, the Lord of Death, "Thank you..."

He put his arms around lauralye, "I'm glad I could be of some service to you," a small smile made it to the lord of the deaths face. Shrugging, before he let go and took a step back. "Elysium is waiting for you laurlye I suggest you might not want to keep stalling for any longer."

Thedas was calling out stroke for stroke, letting the sound of steel on steel take his mind off on what was held in store for him. Looking around the room, smiling slightly to himself these people would be ready for when the big fight came. He felt a hand on his shoulder, looking to his cousin Conner. "I am glad that I get to see you again, but I am also sorry for the terms I have come here by Robert." He shrugged, his chest ached longed for lauralye to be in his arms again. "Thedas my real name is Thedas I know that much cousin you are better for the throne than I am I will be the knight commander I will lead these people into battle with you beside me if you will allow it." Conner nodded, :I will allow it cousin."

Lauralye nodded to the Lord of the Dead and gave him a small curtsy, "You are a kinder man than tales have painted you."

She then turned and made her way through the arch in Elysium. She wrapped her arms around herself. The place was beautiful with people laughing and dancing and enjoying their lives after life. Lauralye felt like in that moment, she was the only person in the green field who was indeed not happy. She walked endlessly through the green grass seeing no faces she knew and wishes for the ones she left behind. Lauralye had not made many friends in her life and those that she had seemed to have out lived her.

"Lauralye..." A small tender voice said.

The princess turned to look at a woman who was pushing herself to her feet, "My baby girl..." She wrapped her arms around her.

Lauralye looked up at the woman, "Mother?"

The Queen began to kiss Lauralye's face before she took her in as a whole. After a moment, she frowned, "How old are you?"

"S-seventeen..."

The Queen shook her head and pulled her daughter into her again, "You are too young to be here."

"So are you..."

Thedas, looked to the other soldiers, his arms were crossed. His sword strapped to his hip, scouts had said they had spotted small bands of demons camping. That they were meeting up getting there numbers together, frowning slightly as he went through the news in his head. That meant Lucien and the other demons were going to attack in a few days or so. He had been working double time, getting what rest he could then back to the barracks to improve the other knights stamina or fighting skills. His hand rested on the hilt, the crest of lauralyes family showing on the breast plate of his armor.

Lauralye sat with her mother and cried as she told her of the last twelve years without her. Her mother held her and listened, comforting her as they went. The Queen asked for stories of happier times and their conversation went to their past together or her time with Robert. It was hard to think of that time as happy. When she was with Robert, she was happy but now.... Those times just caused for her heart to hurt, "I wish to see him... Protect him... But instead, I am stuck here... I have to wait for the moment he dies before I can see him again."

She covered her face as she cried.

Thedas, sighed he was getting used to this ache in his heart. It wasn't dulling, which he had expected he had to keep himself focused on the fight to come. He had a bigger resolve now for going to kill Lucien, though he didn't really care if he died along with him. Shrugging that thought away, he looked to the other knights that were sparring together they had come far in these past few days, sighing to that and shaking his head some of these men and women would die for this country.

After some talking Lauralye left her mother to be alone. She walked through the field again with tear filled eyes. She could see the way some people were looking at her. Confused by her sadness, angered by her ruining their bliss, reminding them that being dead wasn't that wonderful. She sat alone under a tree and sighed. She looked up to the sky and for a moment thought it to be real. However, as she stared the illusion fell away revealing the rocky ceiling above. She sighed, "Be safe, Robert.... Please, be safe..."
