Lauralye sighed and wrapped Robert's arms around her before she curled up in them, "If you must die... I wish for you to die holding me."
She rested her head on his chest and closed her eyes, trying not to cry. She didn't know why she was crying, he was coming to her after all... They could be together but she didn't wish for him to die.
"Halt," A woman's voice said the pounding of boots running to them seized. Lauralye opened her eyes to see a very tall and beautiful woman standing over them. The woman smiled down, "It is always something special to see love the lasts passed death. Of course, I would have nothing more than that kind of love for my son. I put much effort into weaving your feelings..." She knelt beside them and removed sword from Robert's stomach, "Your father, Thedas, is going to be awfully angry with me... Oh and the Fates," She laughed a little, "But I can hardly let this all end here..."
She waved her hand and Lauralye disappeared as Aphrodite brought a small cake to his lips, "Eat this and I promise, you will see your Lauralye again, my son."
She then looked to the men, "Well, what are you waiting for? Take him back to the palace... I believe there is someone waiting for him."
