Threads chuckled somewhat, "I guess I am I didn't know I was hiding from you under all of this dirt." The fatigue from not getting much sleep, had taken a toll on him and it showed on his face too. Though he had said he wasn't tired to the others, most people just shrugged he knew lauralye knew him better.

Lauralye smiled at him, "I can hardly see you under it all," She laughed a little, "Come, you must get some rest. You look like you haven't slept in days." She stood and placed the rag on the side of the bucket, "You can have a proper bath when you wake." She helped him to his feet and supported his weight as best she could as she walked with him to the bed. She laid him down and tucked him in. She leaned down and kissed his forehead, "I will join in one moment. You had best be asleep before I'm back," She smiled at him before slipping away to get dressed for bed.

Thedas only chuckled lightly, before nodding. Slowly falling asleep on his side, the past few days had finally caught up with him to where he fell asleep in a few minutes. The last few days had taken a huge toll on his body and him.

Lauralye returned in a nightgown and climbed into the bed beside him. She smiled down at him, brushing his hair out of his face. She leaned forward and kissed his nose before she lowered and curled up on his arms. She closed her eyes and allowed for sleep to take her. Something about dying and being resurrected really tired her out.

Thedas had woken up at dawn, he guessed it had become a habit. He looked to lauralye who was in his arms, he smiled lightly to that. Running his fingers through her hair with his free hand. While his other arm stayed around her waist, he was glad she was back by his side. He wasn't as tired as the last few days had put him, though he was still in better shape than he was before. He wondered what was going to happen now, wondered what would become of him and lauralye though he was now a war hero.

Lauralye was woken by the feeling of something brushing through her hair. She opened her eyes to find that she was still in Robert's arms. She smiled, "So... It wasn't all dream," She whispered and she pressed herself against him more. She didn't move away from him any nor did she even lift her head to look up at him. She traced small circles with her fingers over his chest, "You should bathe... You smell of blood and battle," She glanced at him, "I will still be here when you return."

Thedas smiled, before he sighed. "I guess then," as he pushed himself up onto his feet. Grabbing a shirt a new set of jeans, before he went into the bathroom. Letting the water run over him, getting off and blood or dirt off of him. Half an hour had passed, before he came out in a new set of black clothes. Stretching slightly getting any kinks out of his back and arms, popping his neck and sitting on the edge of the bed. "Plus it wasn't a dream because would I feel so real under your hands princess?"

Lauralye did not move from the bed as Robert bathed. Instead, she just enjoyed what it felt like to be lying in it again, even alone. When she looked at Thedas when he reemerged clean and smiled. When he asked her if he would feel so real, she took hold on his arm and pulled him back properly onto the bed. She giggled a little and sat up. She placed a hand on his chest and just stared at it, "I suppose not..."

His heart beat was strong and sure, under her fingers. He smiled up at her, "I'm glad you're back princess." A small sigh escaped his lips, the ache in his chest was gone now that he had her back at his side and in his arms. No matter what, no one could replace the woman that had stolen his heart.

Lauralye's eyes shifted from his chest to his eyes. She smiled softly at him, "Not as glad as I..." She bit her lip, "Although... I can't imagine Dear Hades is too happy about all of this..." She began to trace circles again, "Your father... is a very kind man... For the Lord of the Dead... He shared only kindness with me. You have his eyes..." She reached and cupped his cheek, "I love you, Robert."

Thedas let out a laugh, "I know my father won't be happy about this much." A smile came to his face as she cupped his cheek, leaning his head into the touch. "Love you too princess don't forget that." He was better, coming out of the shell he had built up so that no one else could steel his heart only lauralye could have his heart and only her.

Lauralye smiled at Thedas, "I don't think I ever could," She leaned down and kissed him, her one hand trapped between their chest. When she broke the kiss, she only moved her face no more than a centimeter away. She smirked, "Even in death, I could not forget that... That was the hardest thing about death... knowing you loved me but couldn't be with me." She kissed him again, her fingers finding his hair.

Thedas smiled slightly, before he was kissed. He let himself get lost in the feel of her lips against his, he barely registered that she was speaking again before he was kissed again. Responding to it, his arms finding her waist and wrapping around her.

Lauralye looked over at him as he agreed to share with her the stories. She moved closer to him and sat behind him. She ran her finger over and scar before kissing it and speaking into the wound, "This one." She looked up at the back of his head as he spoke, gently kissing his back all the while.

"I had helped a slave from getting punished for not complete ing there job I had said I would take it they had taken a dagger and made sure it was a deep and painful cut reopen ing it when it would clot."

Lauralye looked at the scar and gave it a long kiss when he finished speaking about it, "Remind me later that I want to forbid slavery in our kingdom..." She wrapped her arms around his waist until her fingers found another scar. She didn't kiss this one as she was behind him but she gently ran her fingers over it, "What about this one?" She asked, resting her head against his shoulder.

Thedas closed his eyes and nodded, before slightly smiling at the one on his shoulder. "I didn't know where I was in the forest and I stumbled upon a bear by accident it attacked I turned and ran but before I could fully turn I got hit there ever since I've been more careful."

Again Lauralye kissed it deeply. As they went on, her choosing scars and him sharing stories, the ones where he was a slave were always the ones that seemed to be the hardest for her to hear. When they had run out of scars, she hiked up her nightgown and wrapped her arms and legs around him. Resting her head against the back of his neck, she closed her eyes, "None of that is ever going to happen again... I'll hurt anyone who dare lays a hand on you... which I hope isn't anyone... I'm not very good at the whole hurting thing... But for you, I could learn." She kissed his neck, "I think the people will love you when you become king... You know them in ways that I never will."
