Plus I was going to introduce the Fables' universe form of "primordial entities", that are known as the great powers, to add some drama. Also since he is death itself wouldn't him being forced to leave the Homelands mean no one in the Homelands would die anymore?

Sorta it means no one would get to the after life... they could die but they would remain as spirits...

i mean
he has to listen to

every other thing
he is a servant to everyone

most storys have some mention of death in them. so when their storys die he gets weaker...

I mean there is nothing to really threaten him with, I planed on having something interesting happen involving a few killings and seeing as he is death... yeah. Maybe if he wasn't you know the very embodiment of death it self

he is not the embodiment of death itself... its sort complicated... he has no control over death. he can send people to the other side.
he is basically a Apprentice (don't remind him) to the god of death
