"What do you think, Liam?" asked Shiranui, "Tag team double battle?"

"Sounds good to me." Liam said. Jasmine called on Stelix and Magnezone.

"Stelix, the Iron Snake Pokemon, and the evolved form of Onix. Steelix lives even further underground than Onix. This Pokémon is known to dig toward the earth's core. There are records of this Pokémon reaching a depth of over six-tenths of a mile underground. Its body is harder than any metal.

Magnezone, the Magnet area Pokemon. ometimes the magnetism emitted by Magnezone is too strong, making them attract each other so they cannot move. It evolved from exposure to a special magnetic field. Three units generate magnetism."

"A steel/ground, and a steel/elec." Liam said aloud. He decided to call on Marrowak.

"Hikari, I choose you!" Shiranui called his Lanturn out.

"Bonemerang on Magnezone!" Liam called. It hit twice, and did a nice chunk of damage to the pokemon (65 att *double weak *STAB= 390 per hit)

"Hikari, Scald on Steelix!"
"Magnezone, Mirror Shot at Marowak; Steelix, Rock Slide!" Hikari launched a scalding hot jet of water at Steelix that hit it for super-effective damage and left it burnt. Magnezone let off a flash of light from its polished body at Marowak. It was on its last legs figuratively speaking. Steelix unleashed a rock slide on both Marowak and Hikari.

Marrowak was damaged by the oncoming attacks. "Bone Rush on Magenzone!" Liam called. It hit five times and KO'd Magnezone.

"Hikari, Bubblebeam!"
"Steelix, Slam the Lanturn!" Hikari blew some bubbles at Steelix that did enough damage to render Steelix all but knocked out. Steelix tackled Hikari, but the burn negated some of the damage that would have been caused. Steelix succumbed to the burn and fell over with a mighty crash.

"For defeating me in battle, I award the both of you the Mineral Badge," Jasmine congratulated.

"Thanks Jasmine." Liam said as he took the badge. He turned to Shiranui, "So I say lets go to the Pokemon Center and then head to Mahogany Town."

"I agree," replied Shiranui.

Liam went to the Pokemon Center. He found that there was a strange message playing on a loop on the radio. Team Rocket was attempting to locate their old boss, Giovanni.

"Liam, if you were a member of a criminal syndicate trying to locate your missing-in-action boss, would you hijack a radio broadcast?" Shiranui asked.

"I wouldn't, but then again, I'm intelligent." Liam replied. "I say we heal up, maybe adjust our teams and go stop them."

"I fully agree. The question is where are they based?" Shiranui inquired.

"Well, we should go to the radio tower and check it out." Liam said as he walked over to the phone to alter his team.

[James Davy]

"We'll need someone who can get us there quickly," stated Shiranui.

"Sherlock!" Liam called on his Alakazam who teleported the duo to Goldenrod. Liam saw the Rockets were all over the town.

"Get your best Pokémon team ready," warned Shiranui, "This can get ugly!"

"I have an idea." Liam said. He snuck up on a couple grunts who were talking with one another. They were talking about how it was boring just patrolling the town. No one was out and about, so having scouts out is waste of time. Liam turned to Shiranui. "When I say 3, lets knock these goons out and take their uniforms to blend in."

Shiranui nodded, letting Fushigi out. "Fushigi's Sleep Powder can do the trick," he stated.

'That will be much easier, by all means." Liam said as he backed up slightly to give the Pokemon an easier time to aim.
