"Duly noted," Shiranui acknowledged, receiving his Poké Balls.

"So, ready to head out?"

"I sure am," answered Shiranui.

"well, lets head north then." Liam said.

[James Davy]

Our heroes made their way north towards the Lake of Rage.

After a few minutes, the lake opened up infant of them. They saw a man in a trench coat standing around muttering to himself.

"Who's that guy?" Shiranui asked.

[bowtiesrcool86]

"I have no idea." Liam admitted. There was a rumbling as a red Gyarados emerged from underwater and began to go on a rampage. Liam called on Shinx.
"Shinx, Thunder fang!" Liam called. The attack was super effective and the Gyarados used Hyper Beam. Liam tossed a Luxary Ball while the Gyarados needed to recharge. The ball shook for a few minutes before pinging shut.

"Great catch, Liam!" Shiranui praised, getting the feeling he'd be facing the red Gyarados himself later on.

"I think I'll name him, 'Attrocitus'." Liam decided. The man in the trench coat approached them. 'Excuse me men, but may talk to you for a moment?"

[James Davy]

"Uh, sure," answered Shiranui, cautious about what the man in the trench coat would say.

"I know you are both exceptionally gifted Pokemon Trainers. Not only did you stay up to that raging Gyarados as if it were nothing, and capturing it, But I remember seeing the both of you facing each other in the finals at the Indigo Leauge competition when it was televised. I need the two of you to help me with something." The man said.
"But, who are you?" Liam inquired.
"My apologies." The man said as he pulled a badge out of his pocket. "I am with the International Police, you can call me 'Looker'. I have reason to believe that Team Rocket has a base somewhere in or near Mahogany Town."

"It wouldn't surprise me since we drove them out of Slowpoke's Well and the Goldenrod Radio Tower," replied Shirnaui.

Looker gave Liam some Full Restores to bring his team back too 100%. "Alright, now there is a shop in town that seems suspicious. I want you two to come help me investigate." Looker said.

"You can count on us," replied Shiranui.

"Well, lets go check the out." Liam said.

After a while, Liam, Shiranui and Looker were at the shop in question.

Looker was investigating a suspicious spot in the store. The store clerk was begging to try and throw him out.

[James Davy]

"I suggest you zip it, buddy, otherwise he could book you for obstruction and/or come back here with a search warrant," Shiranui warned the store clerk.

Looker found a switch that opened a secret door. The clerk called a Zubat out in reaction. Liam had Sylveon use Moonblast and knocked it out of the sky.
"Bad move." Liam warned. He then ran up and smacked the Grunt, KO'ing him.
