Vesuvius' attack was so low in power that Sundan survived the hit, albeit barely. "Sundan, Reversal!" Unlike Vesuvius' attack, Sundan's attack carried a lot of power as the Scizor charged at Vesuvius.

Shiranui watched in horror as Sundan was engulfed in intensely hot flames. The flames subsided and reveal a blackened Scizor. "Sundan, return; Tachi, I choose you!" Shiranui switched his Scizor for his Espeon.

"Psychic!" The Espeon copies used their psychic powers to manipulate the flames and send them back at Vesuvius.

"Clever, but not clever enough." Liam said. "Hyper Beam!" The attack parted the enclosing flames.

"Protect!" The green shield went up in time to stop the powerful attack.

Vesuvius was now unable to move. Liam had to wait for Shiranui's next move.

"Now's your chance, Tachi, Psychic!" The Espeon's gem glowed and Vesuvius' mind was reeling under her attack.

Vesuvius took the attack and panted heavily. "Fire Blast!" Liam called. Vesuvius struggled to form the attack. Vesuvius launched the attack and then fell over for exhaustion.

Tachi simply dodged the attack while watching Vesuvius for signs of a second wind.

Vesuvius was out. This left Liam with Sylveon and two other Pokemon. He recalled Vesuvius the Entei and sent Sylveon back out.

"Psychic!" Tachi grabbed the Shadow Ball with her psychic powers and sent it back at Sylveon.

"Bat it back with Iron Tail!" Liam called.

"Pierce it with Psyshock!" A red javelin of energy was conjured and sent at the incoming Shadow Ball, piercing it and causing an explosion complete with sparkles.
