Name: Zinzie Searoby

Personality: Very upbeat and chipper. Although a bit eccentric, he's pretty hard to hate. Zinzie has a kind heart and good intentions, even if he has a strange way of showing it. He also loves to sing, and does so pretty often.

Appearance: He's a tall, thin shaped man. Zinzie stands at 6'3" with a lanky build. His skin is an olive tone, and his hair is curly and dark brown. His eyes are almond shaped and a chocolate brown.


Clothing: He likes jewelry, colorful and loose fitting clothing, and beads in his hair. Occasionally accused of cross dressing.

Skills: Potion making, cooking, singing, creating music

Magic: Although hocus pocus magic and mutters aren't really his thing, Zinzie is a skilled potion master. Medical potions are his specialty, which is why he travels under the guise of an apothecary. Zinzie's potions range from growing back hair to healing wounds.
His one signature spell, however, involves his familiar, Shire. Zinzie can take on the form of a tall and lanky sight hound, but he must have physical contact with Shire for it to work.

History: Zinzie was born to a human mother and a witch father. He mother was unfortunately killed when his father was run out of his home town for his witchcraft. Zinzie's father never forgot the loss of his beloved wife, and has since given magic up completely. Zinzie, on the other hand, wanted to keep the family tradition alive.

For decades, Searobys have traveled the world, selling medical potions to those who need them. They were witch doctors, if you will. However, the word 'witch' came with a certain stigma. Potion makers are often met with distrust because of the questionable ingredients they use for their brews. Human bones, flayed flesh, the blood of virgins, all that good stuff. As a whole, potion making has become outlawed due to an entire black market of human body parts.

However, Zinzie knows enough about potions to know that none of them is necessary. One can substitute animal bonemeal for human bones any time. It's not as potent, but it works. His father wasn't thrilled about him leaving home to continue the trade, but what could he do? Zinzie was every bit as adventurous and outgoing as he was when he was young.

And so Zinzie took up a life on the road. It's lonely, sure, but he has Shire to keep him company. The little dog has a bit of magic of his own. He sells his potions to those who need them until he gets kicked out of town. Then he goes somewhere else and starts over.
