I believe that it's set during Harry Potter's years, but it's set during our time.

Charlotte M. Spirit

Physical Description

Charlotte sits at both an average height and an average weight for a young witch of her age, with tanned skin and medium-length, sandy blonde hair. Her body is stronger than what one might expect for a young girl, especially so since she is a pureblood witch who doesn't seem all that active at a glance. Her eyes are a relaxed green colour, with her facial features decidedly attractive and possessing an air of noble flair not possessed by ordinary girls. She has a small, almost unnoticeable scar on her upper back, usually hidden from prying eyes by her uniform.

House: Gryffindor
Magical Heritage: Pureblood

Personality: Charlotte is not what anybody would call a particularly serious person, but there is no doubting that she has both great talent and great intellect. She doesn't work well with others, due partially to her eccentric nature and otherwise as a result of her lazy, careless mannerisms. She seems to have no real passion in her, drifting absentmindedly through her magical education as if she was without a care in the world. This, of course, has earned her the ire of many a teacher and peer, particularly from those who believe education should be taken seriously. If something does manages to perk her interest, she will pursue it ruthlessly and without restraint.

Due to past incidents, she has a natural dislike both for muggles and muggle-born wizards, and does her best to avoid contact with them where possible. She is surprisingly easily provoked despite her calm appearance, and once irritated she tends to hold a grudge for long periods of time. Her malicious side is rarely shown, but when it is finally revealed to those who have wronged her, it might be described as a "Slow to take effect, but fast-killing sort of venom."

Assets: Eleven and a Quarter inch Hemlock wand, Dragon Heartstring. Her Raven, Shaman, which she has received special permission to keep.

Special Gifts and Abilities:
-Charlotte is what you would call a natural genius, she excels at virtually every subject and possesses a nearly peerless ability to learn from others and make complex observations on the fly.

-Her specialties are DADA and Potions.

-Has a gift for Duelling and the Dark Arts, passed on by blood through her parents.

Ava is accepted, but can you change the part about her talking to animals? I'm not too sure about having a Chara with a skill like that as it's kinda like a super power or something. You're allowed to make another character if you think you can handle posting that much BTW.

She doesn't actually talk to the animals in like a special language. She's just out in her own little world, and people rumor that she can talk to them, similar to the fact (which turned out to be true) that Harry could talk to snakes, and was related to S. Slytherin because of it. It's not a super power, but rather a curse - like seeing people that aren't there. I can still remove it if I need to...
