There are two primary branches in Restoration with the inclusion in one particularly minute set of spells. Thee branches focus on the use of invigorating and "Holy" Magic to be either a well-spring of life, or a mighty hand to cast out the undead.
Generally when you think of Restoration the vast majority will jump to: "Heal me! Oh grand caster of the swirly gold magic!" But for those who also delve into the whole of Restoration can tell you the grandeur of having the Undead dealing part of Restoration. There are spells to cause the undead to flee, to be prevented from entering a specific area, and even light on fire with a magical flame that injures only the Undead. These spells are crucial, especially for those Restoration wielders who venture into the depths of the Ancient Nordic Cities and Burial Chambers.
*The exception to the branches are the small series of Paralysis spells within the Restoration branch, the magic is the use of the magical channels that enter the body(similarly to Healing), but rather then healing they tighten around and restrict the use of the body to paralyze the target.
Edit: No offense, but no ill-equip, ill-combat trained Pre-teen would venture out to combat Dragons, and live to tell of his tale, nor would he leave the first fight alive for that matter less he run and hide behind the rocks. I do apologize, but the honesty is not cruel nor rude, rather just logical and realistic.
