All is quiet here, FernStone, but my keyboard is brimming with swords, shot, adventure, intrigue, and death. This will soon respark the IC, to which I fear the quiet will no longer remain. Yes, technology can sometimes become a nuisance, but is by no means a brick wall ;)

I have more good news to combat the bad in that I was able to fix my laptop's resolution issues. What I found was something less epic than I imagined, but no less an addition to our scenes. Compounding the bad, however, I nearly lost all my work from the past week due to a Microsoft Word saving mishap. Thankfully, I was able to recover all the writing and retain my work through several devious, autosave fiddling. Damn you, technology, for nearly twice ruining my work!

I will make sure to - I'll probably do it now, while I'm reading it for a second time (it's long enough that it warrants that to get all the information). It's a brilliant post and certainly getting into more of the action. I'm quite looking forward to what will happen in the evening with the dinner many of them have been invited to - it will be interesting to see how that goes. I'm looking forward to Corisande getting more... proper roleplaying then since she hasn't done much yet (though there is no reason for her to have been invited there and none that I can myself think of xD)

Certainly looking forward to posting for Dae... I am quite glad that she has crossed paths with Lucius and Ona because that will lead to interesting interactions. Very interesting ones methinks.

Upon discovery, Korkud seems to be the sort of individual that would have Conqvist's head, but alas, Altaea is neither a kind nor forgiving world. Still, there are ways to survive and seek revenge if one levies the proper coin and underhandedness 8)

It will certainly make for an interesting relationship, given that Korkud is a 'never forgive, never forget' sort of person, and considering his immense paranoia, he'll find out. Or they could make an agreement, given those guns are not state secrets for Korkud, and he needs money to fulfill his master plan.

Paranoia will most probably prove to be one of Korkud's greatest assets and in the coming future, you'll see why! Of course, few, save Conqvist and his palace staff know of both Catherine or Rothion's abilities to track and predict a person of interest's actions so it remains to be seen what Korkud will decide to accomplish during this moment in the story 8)

Well, they *somehow* know that he's alive, as Ghazi Isfendiyar Bayqara Korkud, so he's probably got some questions in his mind. And since his mind and body acts like he's on amphetamine, he might be able to tie something together, if he's witness to further clues.

I like that! This makes Korkud a very dangerous adversary and unpredictable, which could open cross-over plot arcs for many characters 8)

I have to say I'm certainly glad one of my characters is definitely on Korkud's side... For now Ashradar seems like he's in a safe place to be xD
