RP status: OPEN
First and foremost, I would just like to state this right away. I am not a fan of mature content in terms of sexual activity. I would like to avoid this if possible, but that does not mean I don't like a bit of romance as long as the characters have chemistry. I understand the stigma of furry RP, but hopefully you can get over that. However, while I don't want the mature content, the sub and dom relationship roles can still be filled if you'd like. In that case, I would love it if I could play the submissive, since I like the idea of a couple characters of mine give control to somebody else...as they're usually the type to think that they're top dog.
I have been craving a good Furry RP for some time now and the ones I start are rather slow at the moment, so I'm looking specifically for this this time.
In any case, here are my ground rules:
1. Literacy Level: As long as you can do your best to produce proper spelling, grammar and punctuation and be successful much of the time, then I do not really care what level of literacy you are. I can do anything from Chat or Free RP to low-Advanced. I don't really like putting too much effort into my actual post length, since I feel that that makes it more of a chore than fun, so low-Advanced is where I have to stop. However, I can usually pump out at least two paragraphs per response.
2. Limits: I have none as far as language and violence go (so long as we're not killing characters off for no reason), but as I stated before, I would like romance to remain below 18+ with very little to no mature content in that area if possible. I am 23 years of age, so I can take mature content...I just do not enjoy mature content of /that/ variety.
3. Leniency: I am a busy person and have been ever since I started for my Bachelor's degree. I may not be on every day of every week to reply. However, I will do my very best to get a reply to you at the VERY least once every three days. However, you can usually expect at the least a daily response under normal circumstances. It would be fantastic, however, if I could know what time(s) you are usually online. Because if we can be online at the same time, then we can have a good back-and-forth with our posts. =}
4: The Basics: You all know the basic rules of semi-literacy, right? No PP/GMing, etc etc? I hope so. Because I would like my partner to be following them.
5: Location: I would very much like this to be over PM's. It's just easier for me to keep track of all of my RP's that way and I like being away from prying eyes.
6: The action: As good as some decent romance is, I am a very action-oriented person. I like having things happen. Not constantly of course, unless you want to specifically do an Arena-style RP. Combat is my absolute favorite part of a roleplay, so I expect there to be at least some of it. It doesn't even have to be the focus of the RP...I'd just really like this, otherwise I'm likely to eventually get bored.
I believe that is everything for the rules, although I may add more if I think of more. In any case, here is something I have been REALLY craving to do for a long time now but have never been able to actually do it. If you'd be willing to do this plot, I would be extremely grateful~
The cool thing about this is that we don't actually have to limit this to a simple wrestling tournament. If we wanted to, we could probably plot something that could be going on behind the scenes that our characters could start uncovering as they struggle to stay on top...and this can even be reflected in the matches. If we want the IWF to be up to something, and they suspect that our characters are catching on, they could do everything in their power to get them eliminated and booted.
(And of course, the wrestling wouldn't be all there is to it. Wrestlers do have downtime too. xP)
Anyway, that's just an RP idea that I have always wanted to try but have never been able to give it a go. If you don't want to do that, then that's perfectly fine. =} I can do many other things, although outside of boxing and wrestling, I'm not good at Modern-era RP's. My strongest RP genre would be a medieval and/or a fantasy setting. But hey, as long as it's a furry RP I can have fun in, I'll be up for just about anything, I'm sure.
