Name: Peridot Oliver
Race: Dog Faunus, her sense of smell and hearing is better then humans, but she has a weaker night vision then most Faunus, she has white dog ears and a white tail.

Gender: Female
Bio: Peridot's hatred of humanity started early in her life, when her parents were killed by a group of humans. She lived only due to a member of then peaceful White fang saving her. The member of the white fang adopted her since all her extended family were either far away or were killed by others groups of humans, the member taught her how to fight with a weapon and how to use her Semblance. And he even made her weapon, 'A girl's best friend' a basic but reliable weapon. When the White Fang turned Rogue the member stayed thinking back to his adopted daughter and how her family was killed, and Peridot even told him to stay, since she knows humans will only change their treatment of them by installing fear into them.
As Peridot gotten older she became smarter with her anger, often hiding it as to not to make herself noticed by humans since fighting in the shadows is better then being the in the light and getting killed like her parents did. She graduated at a decent place and was good enough to get accepted into Beacon.
She's thinking that once she graduated from Beacon she will join the new and improved White fang and get her revenge at humanity by being a Huntress level fighter.
Weapon:
A rather plain looking assault rifle. But what it lacks in flair makes up and practicality, as the gun has four types of ammunition, a highly explosive fire based dust, a cryonic ice dust that freezes when it hits the target, and finally the best one for long range combat, a bullet type that's covered in green dust that goes faster the farther it goes reaching top speed after being fired from a mile away tearing though all but the most hardy of targets, she doesn't use these often since it's expensive and has a massive recoil and needs a few moments to get her sense back. This weapon can be steadied for long range combat and make more accurate uses of her dust tipped bullets. Or a less accurate mode that is better to use in mid range combat.
Semblance:
Peridot can make many tiny rips in space that can be used as portals for small objects to pass though at the same speed it went into it. She can make portals anywhere she can see and angle them from any angle and can surround enemies in portals in a hail of bullets. Fighting her is confusing but she has some weaknesses like anyone else. She needs at least a little bit of focus to make the portals and where they will go, so if somebody was fighting her in close range and distracted her she can't control the angle of the portals and she might send the bullet somewhere she didn't plan, also she needs space around the target to summon portals, she can't make portals on objects (I.E Walls, floors, boxes, water, anything tangible). She needs to see the space around a person to make portals. Her Semblance still has a some untapped power.
Strengths:
Focused: Can focus and due to that she has great aim and make good use of her Semblance in the heat of combat even if somebody trying to attack her from a distance.
Adaptable: Peridot can adapt to nearly any change in combat, she can go from mid range combat to long range combat, and when to to switch combat roles, and knowing when something she doing isn't working right away and changing her plan to something else more effective. And trying to cover her weaknesses when they show.
Weaknesses:
Terrible short range combatant: There's no way around this, Peridot is a terrific mid to long range combatant, but her close range combat is terrible and needs assistance when a foes gets to close.
Dislikes humans: Due to her childhood Peridot is mistrustful of humans and Faunus trying to pretend to be human, she warms up slowly some would say, but others says she warms up to quickly and burns people with her words and actions.
Social: Once you get past Peridot anger and hatred of humanity she's actually a really caring and warm hearted person, towards other Faunus. She's bitter and angry at humanity at large, but she can like and maybe even care for humans who aren't murderous or racist like the rest of their kind.
