The mention of the Barton Foundation got the Instructor's attention. "The Barton Foundation was a faction from twenty-nine years ago." He answered. "I was there during their rise and fall." He remembered the battles that took place in that time, especially the liberation of Brussels where casualty had to be minimised. Donna looked at the Instructor. She recalled how her father was once part of their army. "Can you please tell me more about the Foundation, sir?" She asked. Instructor W moved to answer the question. "The Barton Foundation was an organisation led by Dekim Barton, a supporter of the independence of Colonies. They were the main sponsor for the construction of the original Gundams. They initially wanted to drop a Colony into Earth to cause Chaos and the Gundams to take the chance to control Earth." He paused for a moment. "The scientists that built the Gundams did not agree with the plan and the pilots instead ignored the orders and only attacked OZ." Donna listened to the history given. "Sir, if they are here then would it mean they are our enemy?" She gave the next question. The scientists shook his head. "I can't say for sure." He replied. "I can say we will need to observe with caution if they are proposing an alliance. We have the advantage here as they don't know about the Earth-Sphere's presence."

"I see so they're your Celestial Being more or less." Graham commented as he watched The Instructor speak. "What about the name of Mariemaia Barton? That was the given name. I'm assuming a daughter of that guy called Dekim Barton?" Graham questioned as Jason looked at Paul, "What do you think of this my young friend?" Jason asked Paul as Puru looked at him. She wasn't fully understanding the whole thing herself clearly, "Well Captain any chance for alliance is better than none even with these scum bags. Dropping a space colony on Earth? What kind of freak does that? Genocide on a extreme level like that is the mark of a monster and a mad man. However we're in a place where we can't escape and neither can they more than likely. Politics make strange bed fellows...after all what more do we have to lose? We're already in the per verbal bed with terrorists Nena Trinity and Reve."

"Mariemeia, if rumours are true is the daughter of late-OZ leader Treize Khushrenada." Instructor W explained. "The man had loyal men in OZ and Dekim hoped to manipulate them with Mariemeia. It is also ironic that Dekim was killed by an OZ loyalist as I heard." He thought on the proverb provided on unusual alliances. "Politics also affected us when our own civil war started two decades ago. The Earth-sphere's main military support came from the OZ descendants and if the Pacifists were to preserve the government they had to work together. The Lindemann family Donna hails from is one of the OZ clans." He can say his pupil certainly proved her worth to be worthy of being mentioned as a descendant.

"Well then do you believe that you're in a more favorable position to go to negotiations with Miss Khushrenada? I was going to send Paul and keep everyone else on stand by but if you believe you're in a place to do better than we I'd appreciate any help you could offer us in this matter." Jason said politely acknowledging the doctor's words. "I have no experience with these people if you have anything to contribute to this then more the merrier. However what if this Mariemaia is different from the one you know?" Jason asked. "You guys just need to make a deal right? Then what's the problem make a deal with these people and let's get some help!" Puru complained.

"I believe I should be part of the delegation." He nodded in agreement. "If she is different from the one I know, it will be another factor on whether this alliance will work." Donna looked at whether she will be involved. "Instructor, should I be part of the delegation?" She asked. The Instructor shook his head. "I think it won't be a good idea." He answered back. "We should keep Earth-Sphere United Nations hardly noticeable for now in case it affects negotiations. But the Sandrock will be needed later on in case negotiations fail and battle breaks out. I will then need you and others to rescue us." Donna was slightly disappointed but understood. She wanted to see who were the Barton Foundation and the apparent daughter of the man worshipped as a saint by her father. Instructor W returned to the captain. "Captain, will it be alright if I join the delegation and Donna set at standby as preparation for worse-case scenario?" He asked.

"If you want to keep Donna's skills as a pilot a secret then Donna can ride in Raigo with me. It'd be a bit cramped but she can sit on my lap or try to squeeze in with one of the other pilots. Alternatively we could let her borrow a dagger." Paul commented awkwardly. It was an awkward suggestion but it was the first thing that could come to mind. "What do you have designs on Miss Donna now Lieutenant Black Star?" Jason commented with a grin as Paul frowned at him in return, "Not funny sir. You know I-" Paul shut his mouth before he could continue as Jason apologized for the comment. "What about me though? I'm smaller! I could go and bring Donna with me! I'd be cool to have someone to talk to and it'd get me out of this ship...no offense captain." Puru commented happily at the sudden change of discussion. "Let's take what the gentleman said more seriously though you two. It makes sense to have a unit such as Donna on back up but with that being said would you be able to connect to Mariemaia on a personal level Mr. Instructor?" Jason commented as Graham spoke up before the instructor could respond, "Make me the captain of the guards sent to the delegation then. Or make Beta Leader or SIGMA Leader take command of the units we send. I still don't like making alliances with people like Celestial Being but Paul made a point that we need all the help we could get at this point and I hate to do so but I agree. We could at the very least use their man power to buffer enemy forces like that Glemy Toto guy." Graham said seriously to everyone in the room.

Gabriel listened to the talk of the Barton Foundation, the talk of dropping a colony on earth brought back some hard memories, but he decided not to speak out against them as extremists lived throughout history and only the ones who lost the wars were considered the bad ones. As the discussion continued it was clear that the Professor was going to be apart of the negotiations and a few units would be sent in reserve. "Sir, I think we should keep the majority of our forces secret as possible for now. I would suggest that Graham, the Instructor and Myself attend the meeting as they have already seen our suits. If we keep the rest hidden then we keep our true strengths hidden. If Instructor W wouldn't mind standing behind my seat I am sure I have enough room in my cockpit for two. This way we get his incite into the Batron Foundation, I'll scout out for any Newtypes, and if things go bad Graham and I will be able to protect the Professor and escape without the enemy seeing the makings of the rest of our forces." He suggested after thinking about the situation for a bit.

"Yes that's all fine and dandy...except there's no member speaking for our actual army." Paul stated flatly to Gabriel. "I agree we should keep our forces secret. However by not including me specifically that means we need someone else to go along. Either me or someone else needs to be present as head of the negotiations." Paul commented plainly to his commanding officer Captain Jason as Jason acknowledged it with a nod. "Indeed it would seem you left out our dear lieutenant so then who would you suggest we send as an operator for OMNI? Conscripts don't count. You're a part of this army but in all honesty we need someone who's actually been a soldier in OMNI as in a commissioned officer." Jason said shrugging. "I don't mean to offend I just speak frankly."

"You're noisy." Reve replied. "What's wrong with Exia's pilot being in Exia's cockpit?" She leaned back against the chair, idly wondering if she should just take Nena and Stella far away from these people. Its not as if they'd have any loyalty or reason to keep them around. It would be so easy to just disable all of the MSes right now, save for the one they were using, and then just tear the ship apart. A small smile appeared on her lips. She was not one of those backstabbing humans however; there was no need to lower herself down to their level of idiocy. One would wonder why they haven't wiped themselves out already. "And?" Reve looked out of the cockpit towards the man. "Was that all? Or did you have something else to tell me?"

The Instructor thought about Donna's positioning. "I think she can standby in the Sundown with Sandrock." He shared his thoughts. "She will be deployed as our last resort." He thought about the member of the delegation. "I feel that I must be part of the delegation to confirm if the Mariemeia we will meet is the same as the one I know. I do not know her by person but for me to see her will be the closest thing available to benefit us. I suggest Lieutenant Lyons accompanying us to represent OMNI's interests. Gabriel will be needed for his Newtype abilities and his career as a Vulture prior to conscription." He turned to Gabriel. "Thank you for the offer of transportation. I happened to be sent here with Donna due to being in the cockpit with her at the time so I have multiple experiences." He looked to see if his student is alright with the plan. She simply nodded, showing her agreement.

"Alright then fine this is how it will go. Gabriel, Paul, The Instructor, and a couple of our foot soldiers will go and meet Mariemaia Khushrenada. In case of an attack Puru, Jameson, Nena, and Alpha Team will stay here. Beta Leader, Reve, and Graham will stay in their mobile suits in case shit hits the fan. Sound good? I hope so because this meeting is adjourned for now." Jason said tiredly as he looked around the room and breathed in tiredly. "I wish there was a clearly picture of friend and foe." Jason commented silently. Paul got up and saluted the Captain as Puru stayed where she was clearly intending to go with Jason unless someone else called her along. Paul exited the room hastily walking towards the stair way in order to get his stuff from the armory. Graham Aker got up but didn't go far he leaned against the door. === "Nothing your royal highness I was just making sure you're ok. God forbid right?" Yuri replied sarcastically followed with a fake bow. However before turning around he raised one finger, "I do have something to tell you. Be nicer to the guy who fixed your god damn mobile suit. This shit ain't easy you know!" Yuri said before walking over to one of the slaughter daggers and talked to a pilot who was complaining about the arm being slightly off in terms of responsiveness. However Nena walked over and tapped on the side of Exia, "Hey you ready to go out on patrol or what? Or are you still hungry? I don't like it either but we've got a job to do...maybe we'll get to shoot something!"

Reve blew a loud raspberry at Yuri's back. "Hey you ready to go out on patrol or what? Or are you still hungry? I don't like it either but we've got a job to do...maybe we'll get to shoot something!" "Oh, Nena! They'd finished tuning the Virtue already?" Reve grinned widely as Nena came over. "Well, whatever it is, its better than sitting here looking at those people." Still leaving the cockpit door open, she powered up Exia, turning on the small lights to warn the engineers Exia is moving. Reve hoped sincerely there would be better opponents to be had. Or she might just get Graham to fight her. The thing they were so hush hush about still nags at her however. What were these people planning? <Hey, Nena.> Reve projected to her. <We Meisters stick together right? Watch yourself out there.>

"Not entirely but they managed to get the basic weapons working enough to defend myself. Fucking Virtue Gundam is so security locked that military grade soldiers can't hack it? I suppose that just goes to show how superior we are." Nena commented as she moved Virtue towards the hanger and what she didn't see was a well placed middle finger by Yuri down below. However it seemed Nena wasn't able to pick up on what Reve was doing via the telepathic link and didn't respond. Virtue was given a hesitant ok to launch by James Axer as Nena went off to take up patrol on the western side of the fields replacing SIGMA's team. "You know I really wish that I could kill something right now...piss heads listening to our conversations right now aside I hope someone does attack us." Nena commented bluntly as Baker chimed in, "Hey you don't need to be rude about it! I'm just following orders ok? I'm sorry if I'm being intrusive but that Captain won't exactly approve of me not doing my job so just pretend I'm not here." she said meekly as Nena chuckled, "Oh so it's the barbie doll of the group that's listening in...wonderful..."

The Earth-Sphere duo left the meeting room for preparations with the Instructor pressing the buttons for the lift. "Sorry if you wanted to go." He apologised. "I need you in case any negotiations with them go sour." Donna shook her head. "I wanted to go, but if this is successful I can see them anytime I want." She replied. "I suppose you will not tell them of the future." The Instructor nodded. "That will be a bad idea if it causes a problem that will threaten your existence in their future." He agreed. "We both want you from their time to life a happy life." The Prussian decided to move to the topic of their current plan. "So your order for me is to stay in Sandrock?" She made sure. Her officer nodded again. "The Gundam will be used as a last resort." He repeated what he said to Jason earlier. "When it becomes clear that our lives are under danger, I want you to rescue us." The elevator arrived at the hangar and the two parted ways for now. Instructor W walked and waited near the GX for Gabriel and Paul to be prepared while Donna returned to the cockpit of Sandrock. She turned on the systems and listened to the conversations between the Gundam Meisters. "I happened to listen to part of the conversation." She entered. "I am on standby with my own Gundam and I hope we are only used as a last resort."

"..uhn, I understand..." So.. Nena can't feel Reve's thoughts. It was something she was kinda expecting, but it wrenched her heart nonetheless. It would be so strange to fight alongside a comrade that was not the comrade she knew, to fight without the bonds of their mind coalescing against almost impossible odds. Still... it would feel great once she got on the fields of battle again, doing what she was born to do, what she was made to do. "Let's go, Nena. Lets teach these pansies how Celestial Beings fight." Launching out of the Sundown with Exia, Reve pushed her MS through a series of loop de loops, maneuvers and flourishes as she followed Nena, before flying in ernest just ahead of Virtue. It was something ingrained in her, something she would do in anything she pilots.

Timeskip - 5:00 After spraining his ankle on the way to the hanger bay Gabriel was unfortunately cut from the negotiation team. Instead he was held back with Stella in the medical bay until further notice. Instead of him they sent Lieutenant Jameson who would be under the direct command of Lieutenant Lyons for the mission. Hoping that they would be able to make use of his other world knowledge if they came across any OMNI not affiliated with Lyon's OMNI. The trip was taking awhile as they had to go through the dunes where they fought Glemy and towards a coast line base where Mariemaia's Army was located at. Jason had decided to abandon their old territory at the Citadel, at least temporarily, and move The Sundown towards the area as well. Those who remained on the ship were ordered to wait for an enemy attack by Mariemaia or whoever was raiding them when they were at the Citadel. Paul was put in charge of a makeshift group named after his missing squad OMEGA Team. Half of Beta and SIGMA were placed in this group alongside the gundam units going with them and a transport group for their foot soldiers and the doctor. Paul had attached his flight pack and had already launched and was heading towards the base area alongside those who were sent with him. "This is Lyons I'm sending out the signal to inform that it is indeed us and not some enemy so they don't make the mistake of attacking us." Paul stated as Graham responded quickly, "I already said I'm not apologizing for that." Graham said as Paul sighed, "I didn't mean that as a slap to you Mr. Aker I respect your skills. That flag you have is capable of a lot that I wouldn't have given it credit for prior. Anyways all units report in." === "Fucking piece of shit guard duty job! I'm not a guard I'm a fighter damn it!" Nena said as she sat inside of Virtue. "Oh yeah here's a bright idea piss off possible allies Nena." Grant commented with a flatness to his voice as he sat in his dagger. "Screw you Captain I'm only here because of Reve if she wanted to leave then I'd be gone too!" she commented angrily back at Grant, "Well Jason said you're not going anywhere right now so just chill out and sit still and don't fuck up anything got it? Once shit get's real we'll see if that retooling Yuri did with The Virtue was good. If not then who knows maybe we'll get lucky and the thing will work anyway." Grant commented as he tapped his finger on the seat of his suit.

The news of Gabriel with a sprained ankle caught the Instructor by a portionable surprise, proving that people called Newtypes are vulnerable to such injuries as well. He was instead guided to a transport with some soldiers and wasn't sure how to react to this unfortunate incident. He looked at the soldiers that share the transport with him and felt like the odd one out of the group. "Donna, if you sprain an ankle I suppose I can be surprised by that as well." He thought to himself, but soon realised that he should be thinking about the Barton Foundation. He wondered if they are different to the Foundation he know of and if Dekim is manipulating Mariemeia to his own ends he will have to refrain from intervening so the alliance won't be jeopardised.

Jack hadn't been expecting to be assigned to the detail at all, hadn't even expected to do more than patrols after his argument with Graham but he ended up guarding the delegates. As he approached with the others, he drifted through the various COM channels, listening to short bursts of conversations being had between teams and team members before shifting again. The approach was slow, meant to make the people they were meeting with feel safer and less threatened, but with Virtue, apparently some kind of heavy artillery Gundam, out where the base couldn't see, they shouldn't feel less threatened. Speaking of the Virtue... He'd caught Nena complaining and Grant lay into her and he chuckled in spite of himself. "Complaints get us no where in life, sister..." Jack mutters, turning off his commlink and paying attention to what was happening around him. He was under Lyons command for this, but he didn't anticipate any problems arising. After all, most everyone on the Sundown was tired of fighting everyone they met anyways.

"Calm down Trinity. You're in the same boat as we are. I'm sure somethings going to go wrong soon enough be it by Mariemaia or Glemy so just wait until that happens then murder everyone you feel like murdering as long as they're not OMNI. And Lieutenant focus on flying Duel." Paul said flatly and calmly as he tried his best not to let his emotions get in the way of things. As he got finished talking a signal appeared on screen and off in the distance he could feel...something. "Newtypes are here." Paul commented under his breath as he flipped the signal on and a person's voice came to life, "Hello this is Colonel Karling. I'm the commander of Mariemaia's Army. State your business." Karling said professionally as Paul responded saying they were from the Sundown and that they were here to meet Mariemaia. He informed them that they were contacted by a man named Witz Sou. "Yeah we were told to expect you sorry for the trouble please get moving to the destination point." commented Karling as Paul led the group of mobile suit pilots over to a small hanger bay area. They were met by a group of strange looking bulky mobile suits. "Open the hanger." said one of the pilots as the doors opened slowly with metal screeching loudly as it moved apart. The base was old. Really old. Paul could feel the presence he felt a little while ago getting closer. "Wonderful it seems that Gabriel was right about making sure there was an newtype being sent here. "You're going to have to leave your suits. We promise that we won't shoot on you and to reinforce that point we're allowing you to keep any weapons you have on hand." commented Karling as Paul grunted. "Acknowledged Colonel." Paul stated professionally and calmly as he wondered if they were being played with now. "Beta stay here with the suits. SIGMA you too. Lieutenant you will accompany me the ground troops come as well." Paul ordered as he parked his suit in a corner and turned it off before grabbing his hand gun and putting it in his flight suit belt. The plane's soldiers opened the door and started to funnel out. "Instructor follow us please." one of them commented as he put on his assault helmet. "Don't worry we're the best we'll protect you in case a fight breaks out. Let's just hope the Sundown won't need us while we're here with you." === "So...anyone got any stories?" Grant asked as he tapped his foot against his seat. He had taken off his helmet and was now just waiting for something to happen. "I got plenty but I don't think you guys will be too thrilled to listen to them." Grant commented awkwardly.

"Yeah, and trust those possible 'allies' as well so they could stab you in the back later, am I right?" Anyone who wasn't Celestial Being are just trash anyways; inferior humans spouting out how virtuous they are while murdering women and children like cattle. Well, she can't deny the few humans who were head and shoulders above the rest, but a few can't possibly save the rest. "So...anyone got any stories? I got plenty but I don't think you guys will be too thrilled to listen to them." "Alright, how about that time when I blew up an entire kingdom because it was filled with slobbering terrorists and brainwashed fanatics? The look on the princess' face when she found out I never believed her lies... Priceless." That did happen, didn't it... she had killed the princess for lying to her. Not with a gun, that was too impersonal, but with a knife. A long bladed instrument that gleamed as the princess looked at it embedded in her chest.
