[IC] A World Of A Million Horrors

Feeling the strange presence, Azazel decided he didn't want to stick around to find out what other surprises the darkness of the forest had in store. His hounds still ran among the trees, though a couple fell prey to unknown creatures. In the chaos of the night, he lost sight of Maria, looking around for her for several moments before withdrawing into the bushes. He knelt down a looked around for movement in the leaves. "Maria?" He whispered loudly. He remembered her ability to disappear from the senses, and knew she was capable of detecting the presence of whatever it was that approached. With little time to act, Azazel decided to regroup with the amazon priestess later, and he withdrew further into the shadows, making his way through the forest toward the mountains, as he had planned with her before. The yipping and howling shadow hounds quickly followed him, acting as a defense should anything jump from the bushes.

Little bits and pieces of woods, dirt, and dust peppered the air, blasted up by the gale of bullets that flew amongst the trees as Kraven exchanged gunshots with the thug. Wait...there was only one of them now. Both he and Kraven noticed this at relatively the same time, not that it stopped them fighting. Taking cover beneath a bush, a cussing Kraven looked out from the camouflage of leaves to see his enemy, who was obviously more determined, or too drunk, to realized the increasing peril of his situation. Having lost track of himself, the assailant left his back wide open. Kraven was just about to take the shot and put the sorry sucker out of his misery, when something stepped up from the shadows. A hulking figure covered in blood and wielding a large cleaver emerged from behind the poor bastard and with an excited grunt, it reduced his skull to a chunky, fleshy paste. "Ooooh...so...the fuck?"

There wasn't much time to ponder the situation, as the large monstrosity of a man thing found seemed to catch a whiff of Kraven, wading through the foliage toward him, it's maw opening like something out of a horror movie. "Oooh no, I don't think so freak show." He backed away slowly with a disgusted scowl across his face, letting off a shot from one of his revolvers. "You can just back the fuck off with that mess!!" Drawing the second revolver, Kraven continued to pour bullets into the abominations face, neck, and chest region while he emptied the shells from his first, the empty casings clattering on the ground.

Ace sighs siting down on a rock, he's been walking for hours. well, this place looks defensible, He thinks to himself, looking around on the mountaintop. He had woken up in a deep valley, and that really didn't seem safe so his gaming instincts had taken over and he had climbed all the way to the top of this mountain. The top was flat for a while, and their was nothing on it but a big tree. Looking over on the other side of the valley he saw another peak which had a large nest on it... yeah, that doesn't look good. I'd better find myself somewhere to sequester myself. Looking closer at the tree he found a small entrance, which he quickly investigated. Inside he found a large aria. After a bit of work he was able to get a bunch of rotten wood out which turned a tiny aria he could barely fit in into a big room that was big enough for him to stand up strait and then some. Thair was also enough room to sequester his stuff. Turning on his computer he finds that it somehow has a full battery and starts to play a game.

The wendigo roared as the bullets flattened against it's matted fur and fell to the ground useless. It blindly charged forward through the hail of bullets inaccurately attempting to smash Kraven.

Dimitri looked around panicked, "No wait!" he screamed before vanishing in a puff of smoke.

A small rabbit popped its head into the little hole that Ace was in. It slowly waddled up to him and then bared fangs that could barely fit in its mouth and leapt at Ace's face.

Michael looked around cautiously as Dimitri vanished wary of any threat, when nothing appeared he turned to Julian. "Guess that leaves you and me, i saw a human up on that cliff over there." he said gesturing to it, "I'm going to go find him and see if i can't keep him alive. Might be good for bait sooner or later like this lizard." Having said so the small creature scurried out of its bag looked around and quickly went back in. "You can help the gunman over there or do whatever i guess." Michael shrugged and began running towards the plateau

Ace draws his guns unconsciously, stumbling back from the monster. He backs up to the far wall, made of hard wood now, and brings his gun up as the rabbit pushes at him. He pulls thetrigger as the rabbit takes a bite out of his arm, blowing rabbit brains over the other wall. In time he slides down the wall, watching the still twitching creature in the center of his room. Disdainfully he brings up his gun, and pulls the trigger twice right into the bunny's head.
After a couple more minutes in shock he wraps a bandanna over his wound, after disinfecting it to the best of his abilities. He then looks back at the corpse, and realizes that he can't leave it to waist. He imediatly begins to skin it, then praparing the meat for cooking. Outside he builds a fire with branches and all the extra wood he has, and puts cooks the meat in a stue. Glansing at the hide Ace wished that he knew how to tan it, all he could remember is that the brains were involved.

Michael carefully walked into the light of the flickering fire on the plateau. "I am no enemy of yours," he said he cautiously approached wary of Ace seeing his tail and attacking. "You appear do be doing well for yourself, mind if I join you for the meal." he asked as he came closer and sat down next the edge of the fire.

As Michael went to sit down another small rabbit popped out of a small hole in the ground, which brought attention to the fact that there were many more small holes in the ground nearby, and sniffed around and looked at the meat ravenously and expectantly.

Julian was going to follow Michael and leave the poor fool to die, but as he poked at the beast, he felt a strange urge over take him. He cast out his hand towards the beast, and from it came a golden energy that took the shape of an eagle that only he could see. It flew through the air at high speeds and struck the wending, connecting Julian to the beast mind. Feeling a vast sense of power flow into him, Julian screamed with his thoughts as loud as he could, aiming all his will towards the monster.

'In the name of the Legion, you shall cast yourself into the fire and die for you commanding officer!'

Ace calmly draws one of his guns and shoots the bunny, not even bothering to check if it's dead. "I don't mind you joining me, if you would go and see if that guy's dead I can cook him up as well. This aria seems fairly peaceful, from what I've seen of the rest of the world from my line of sight, I don't know if I want to go as long as these tasty little snacks are still here. And besides, the tree has more then enough fruit.

"Oddly my things aren't looseing power as they should, as long as that's true I'm happy. Gotta watch out for the giant bird on the other peak, could be a rock or even the Samurge. Legends seem to be comeing true, in which case this might be mount Parnassus... I hope I don't have to run into the python."

Michael frowned and looked around him "I don't think you should have done that.." he said slowly as another rabbit poked its head out, and upon seeing its dead companion let out an incredibly loud and high pitched scream. Dozens of the evil rabbits started to pour out of all the holes in the ground and charged at the two humans sitting at the campfire.

The Wenigo grunted as Julian's mental command assailed its brain and slowly turned and began walking towards the burning wreckage. It's face contorted in ugly fashion as it heaved itself onto the flame. As soon as its matted fur touched the flame it ignited instantly covering the beast in flame, within seconds it was nothing more than ash.

Far faster then ever before Ace draws both guns and starts fireing. Stopping to reload, and repeating the process. Quickly enough He ran out of the bullets on him, but he didn't care any more. A deep rage took him over and he began tearing into rabbits left and right. He was to far out of it to notice where Michael was, and he flew into a rage. To delirious to see what he hadkilled he just kept fighting the seemingly endless waves of bunnies.

Michael quickly took out his katana and killed the rabbits immediately attacking him and then flipped over the campfire and grabbed Ace's head with one hand and teleported into the tree swinging up out of range of the somewhat delirious guns-man hoping the sudden change in scenery would calm him down and watched the rabbits tear into the smoking meat and kill most of each other fighting over it.

Slowly comeing out of it, Ace finds himself far more alert then he had ever been before. Passing it up to adrenaline, he looks down hat his camp. "Dear god, what was that? What came over me? My stuff, I need to go back for my guns. Come, we can make it to my hole I think. "At this he grins at Michael, flashing a set of Razer sharp teeth, and starts to clime down like an idiot. First he makes his way to his door, thankfully untouched, and gestures at it hoping the other guy would understand. "I have to get my guns, could you make sure that my stuff is allright?" Quickly he starts to move to the pile of rabbit bits, occasionally passing a live one munching on it's kin's guts.
