Well...Kyo isn't giving me a straight answer either, actually, but I think the idea was to challenge the psychiatrist and see if he can actually produce a convincing enough argument to win him over. And what he means by saying he doesn't know the truth is that he hasn't known either Katherin or the doctor for very long and could probably still be easily influenced. After all, he hasn't exactly spoken to either of their demons directly, so they could be telling their hosts to tell him anything.

...I might just change it, though. I feel like there are still flaws with this logic.

Kyo wants Gregory to try to win him over to his side? The doctor has no interest in Katherin or Kyo just the information. He is convinced that there is little chance that Kyo couldn't possible have the information he wants. But he knows there is a good chance that Katherin does because as the keeper of secrets she had access to EVERY secret within miles of her. Your right that just because secrets know doesn't mean Katherin does but that is alittle too logical for our villain.

But wouldn't it make sense to try to trick what she does know out of her? That's pretty much what Kyo is trying to offer, rather than information that he knows he doesn't have.

He isn't exactly thinking logically. He is the keeper of Distrust. He wont trust anything they say voluntarily. I am not sure he will eve believe anything the tell him involuntarily.
