I judge my landmass roughly the size of current day Spain, and used the lower end of the scale for density of population calculations, just shy of the lowest. And I'm not sure on what's too big, given the shear amount of land still open, and not having any idea on how many players will be allowed in this.
Feigling I remembered posted saying that the land was about the size of Asia. I don't know if that was supposed to be in regards to the left-hand landmass or not, but I assumed it is.
My kingdom I wrote at being just a bit larger than the Kingdom of Kongo, by roughly 10,000 square kilometers (but with these people I'm not dealing in absolutes given they don't think to claim an absolute value and deal arbitrarily with territorial lands). This in all makes it a bit smaller than Cambodia, which is at something like 50,000 square kilometers. Using that as my measure I took a map of Asia (
This one, actually) and blew it up to roughly fit (or to get Cambodia to roughly fit to a rough scale over the Satyr state) as best I could with PaintToolSAI, rotated it too, and put Cambodia over top my state to get an idea and hung it over a few others to get a rough idea of how they compare.
That's how I scaled things at least. I plugged in a value in my app so there's a base for size and we have something to be relative to; even if vague.
EDIT - and recreating this - though I should just keep this all as one file - you're not so much the size of Spain as you are the about size of India. With Bangladesh and Burma thrown in for good measure.
