"We have a WHAT working for the bureau now!?" Someone snarled from within one of the office rooms two doors away from the meeting room. Senior agent Erin Kemp looked up from the laptop on his desk into the smoldering eyes of the supernatural he'd been assigned to watch over; Jacque Krauss. The agent internally sighed, as he'd hoped to keep it a secret from Jacque, however as it seemed, word travelled fast in the bureau when a new supernatural was recruited, and Kemp had no doubt that it had taken less time for Jacque to burst into his office than it had for him to process what he'd been told by another agent, "A witch Jacque. I'm guessing you're not to fond of that idea?". Jacque slammed his hands on to Kemp's desk, splintering the wood with the impact "Don't play fucking dumb! You now exactly how I feel about witches!" the ghoul snarled, bringing his face mere inches away from the senior agent.
Erin was more than aware of the fact that Jacque was more than strong enough to casually overpower and devour a grown man, and that there would be very little he could do to stop Jacque if he became hostile, however he didn't flinch at the sudden closing of distance, "Indeed I am, however, I have no say in who we hire here-", "But you can control who gets fired!". Jacque watched as Erin began to massage his temples, a sign that the agent was starting to get a headache, however before he could speak again, Erin beat him to the punch, "Jacque, look, i'm not going to fire someone just because of what happened to you. I'm sorry, I really am, but that just isn't how we do things here. Do you know how many agents we've lost to ghouls since the BSA was founded?". Jacque's shoulders slumped as anger gave way to weariness, he knew exactly where the conversation was going, "Look I just need you to cooperate with her if you're assigned joint missions. We'll keep her under surveillance for the same amount of time we did you when you started so there's no need to worry. Just work with me here buddy. Now, I need you to report to the meeting room, there's going to be a briefing that any supernatural agents we have in our employ are expected to attend.". The ghoul gave Erin a mortified look, then sighed, "Fine...but i'm not going to show her any sort of courtesy." he said before turning and walking out of the door. Erin pulled a bottle of excedrin from his drawer and downed two pills dry, making a mental note to have the repairs for his desk come from Jacque's paycheck. As for Jacque, the ghoul slowly trudged towards the meeting room, the scowl on his face deepening as he stopped and hung in the door way rather than immediately walking in.
