Not sure what Imma do for characters this time around. Deekin was kind of made for the distinct purpose of being unique and not really to be the character I wanted to play (even though he ended up being my main character). I'll probably just do one CS so I don't end up neglecting any others.

By the way, I suggest we flesh out more details this time since I basically spent my last ten post trying to fit in exposition so the wall and military rule made sense. Kish, you could specifically state that there's been a massive construction project around Sovereign for a couple years so the sudden massive wall doesn't require me making it up.

Appearance:

History: It is said that innocence, much like a delicate flower, will often succumb to the harshness of nature, and disappear within a single moment. No tales speak to the truth of these words like the one of Ariela Melodie.

She was a beautiful girl, but was sadly born as the daughter of a serf. This however, did not daunt the young soul. She truly believed that she would one day free her family from the bondage of classes. That they would live happily, without the daunting presence of the duke and his taxes weighed above their heads.

So concrete was this belief that when her father came home one night in a drunken rage, and hit her for the insolence the speaking her dreams that, she struck back. She screamed at him, calling him a fool, and left his side in a blind rage. Ariela left her house that night, seeing no reason to try to save those who did not wish for freedom.

Her father's owner was not a very powerful duke, nor was he very forgiving. When he caught ear that one of his slaves had escape he mercilessly beat Ariela's father for incompetence and sent a party of trackers after her.

For years she ran, an outcast and an outlaw, her hate slowly grew. What was once a hope for a brighter future, became a malice for all those that held power. What started as a free spirit became a cunning thief and an illusive rogue. The once sweet girl had become a true criminal, and the fact made her curse those she hated even more.

It was during her darkest hour that the Onikage Artemus Melancholy reached out too her. He offered her the power to take the vengeance she desired. He offered her the strength to bring justice to those that had wronged her; and all he requested in return was her soul.

She gladly accepted. A pact in blood, she gave her freedom, so she could taste the fruit of vengeance.

The Kage merged with her and a black armor formed about her left fore arm, a feint red glow emitting from within it. A black sword of similar description lay in her hand. She felt an immense power rush through her. It was done. She was, a conduit..

When she arrived at the Duke's palace, she was greeted by his personal guard. She cut them down with ease, each time blade met with flesh the armor progressed further across her body, and her psyche was lost a little more. When she finally lopped the head off of the Duke himself all but her head had been consumed. The terms had been met, Ariel was now Artemus, and Artemus Ariel, they were fully merged.

She burned the duke's palace and disappeared for three years. It is now time for her return, she has perfected her skills, and much to the dismay of Artemus, kept control of her psyche. Ariel has become a merciless killer, a hunter of those who would stand in the light. She is, The Black Knight...
