My friend came up with this idea and I'm not sure whether he got it from somewhere or not so don't hate me for not knowing if he did.

You wake up, lights blinding you at first, then your eyes focus and you notice a doctor standing over you and they tell you that you are a creation, a genetically modified human.

You are one of 201 creations, there are Numbers Positive 1-100, Numbers Negative 1-100, and Number 0.
Each of you has been created in a scientific lab to be able to be faster (Not super-speed fast), stronger (same goes with strength), and are capable of using some form of magic (elemental, telekinesis-like, teleportation, etc.) You are all fighting to be the ultimate of these numbers, except number 0 who is basically a referee with crazy powerful awesomeness. You each have a rune located somewhere on your body, if another number touches this, you will lose all your powers and become human, if a human touches this then they have become your official partner, if they die then you die, you get stronger and they fight beside you, but they will live on if you die. And I you touch your symbol, well, I'll leave that my little secret until someone takes a chance. You are not allowed to fight in government facilities such as the lab or the hotel they will let you live in for the first week. If you wish to be free of your partner only your negative can let you free (so only -54 can set 54 free and vice-versa) There will be killing, but only if you can prove to me and the owner of the attacked character that there is no possible way they could dodge or survive the attack.

With your magic, be specific. If you control fire, then you can manipulate it, but if none is around you cant generate it, but if you generate fire, then it will be produced from your body and you may even be able to throw a fireball, but you will have no control of it.

Magic: She carries ash in her pockets, it creates fireworks when thrown in the air. She has some munipulation over fire and sometimes when she wants to be flashy she lets fireworks come out of her hands, she can shoot it out of her hands at people but perfers to just show them. Also she can shoot just fire from her hands but likes to show off her fireworks

Weapon: Ninja stars and two black daggers

Location of rune: upper right back.

Magic: Barriers. He can create invisible barriers that increase/decrease in strength the closer they are to him. These barriers do require his concentration and do cause him some mental strain when objects hit them. He can move these barriers away from himself quickly to create a sort of force blast effect, it is strong enough to knock someone off their feet within a foot or two of him but beyond that it would only maybe knock someone off balance, and anywhere beyond ten or fifteen feet is barely able to be felt. It's easiest for him to create barriers roughly the size of his body. Variation in size increases the necessary concentration and mental strain accordingly.

Personality: Considered to be a nice kid by most. He's a bit quiet and keeps mostly to himself. He really does not want to get anyone hurt who does not have to be, but he will fight when necessary. Honestly though he's a bit of a coward and would rather run than fight most of the time. Particularly if it's a fight he does not think he can win. He will help someone in trouble but only if he thinks he can do so without getting into too much trouble himself. He is a bit of a sucker for a pretty face though and is rather easily embarrassed easily.

Weapon: He sometimes carries an umbrella that he uses to help focus his barriers, but other than that nothing.

Location of Rune: middle of his back.

Magic: Being able to create blue flames, these flames can create weapons out them. However, they do not burn and unless they have a physical form to fuse with, they cannot do much damage what so ever, they're not even hot, like room temperature - maybe slightly higher.

Personality: Very optimistic at times, however will never decide that the loss of someone's life is/was correct, and will try and guilt trip the person who's fault he thinks it it.

Weapon:Carries only a sword hilt, to fuse with his flames.
