Name: Jun Beaumont
Age: 15
Grade: Year 3 of Lower Secondary School
Gender: Female
Personality: A girl of few words and even fewer thoughts to call her own, Jun comes across to many in the academic world as dim in intellect and doubtful for success, at least, not without a good role model to base off of. Though this may be the case for her report cards, which are consistent C's, this deficit does not extend to her athletic and social capabilities (she has garnered quite a reputation as a social butterfly and an expert tennis player). And yet, despite these benefits, a troubled family life with a history of scandal has only built up her stress to proportions exceeding that of most of the disgruntled adolescents of Japan. These stresses, perhaps, were the reasons for her learning deficit.
Appearance :
Strengths : Physically, she's a model player in tennis, and as such, her physical strength is well-rounded in all aspects : endurance, resilience, and intensity. Partially due to her French heritage, she stands taller and slightly heavier over most of her other classmates at 6 feet, 120 lb. As a friend, she manages to hide her stress inhumanely well (well, just more than most as she's used to making it her strength in tennis) and is often the consultant for her own friends.
Weaknesses : Well, that's where her strengths end. She isn't bright-minded or eager to pursue any fields based on academic education, and as such, her loss of motivation in academics has led to her being unable to read overly complex words, though the bits she might remember can aid her with enough common sense and thinking. When alone, her stresses tend to build up much more quickly, causing her to panic and behave irrationally until she has calmed down. Anything beyond that, and...well, she had to go through therapy twice after a few attempts.
History : Jun wasn't supposed to be anything more than solid evidence of two companies' union, she was told by her mother one day. She was the product of business, not intimate love, and yet, all her life, she had been deeply loved by her mother, relatives, and friends in France. A harsh understanding for most her age, Jun carried this truth in her mind with varying levels of regard and disregard. Her mother, now "retired" as a CEO of a top-tier bionics company, held little status and power left to influence her daughter's childhood for the better. Her position was stolen in a lawsuit by the CFO (right after her husband's death), but this case was kept private to save face. Jun was the hostage. If Jun's mother spoke, Jun would be taken away after fabricated rumors would fly. In addition, France's sharp contrasts in wealth-based demographics and slowly (but surely) declining economy, paired with the difficult competition in school and companies would be too much for Jun, the simple-minded girl, to handle. Simply, because she was supposed to hold economic worth (a purpose that was now no longer needed), she would be a target if she had stayed to be groomed by various other companies wanting the assets she was supposed to inherit.
So she was sent to Japan as soon as she was 12, with her mother. By then, she had studied Japanese as an extra-curricular course and was well-acquainted with its culture. Even so, her French heritage from her father raised many an eyebrow to the other Japanese students, and her lack of any Japanese appearance caused some to fabric some rather nasty rumors. Jun would then have to move to the cities, where companies would have ears and eyes.
While she stayed in Kirasagi Academy as a first-year secondary student, her mother went bankrupt to pay for living expenses. Nights would pass as her mother stressed the importance of good grades to Jun, who was already looking into her own past online. They were both hiding their efforts from each other; Jun wanted to know why she moved to Japan; her mother wanted her to forget about the incident.
And during all this time, she was making friends at the academy...
