James MacFusty

Jimmy, who was at the tail end of the line when it started, stared at the dog for a few moments from his position a few metres away from it. He had the fortunate experience of being after Jordan Mason who was thrown off into the distance by the power of the great beast's head.

What the..? Well, what had seemed at first to be a boring lesson was certainly livening up. Reaching the front of the queue, he didn't make any moves to pat the dog – just stared flatly at it, his arms folded behind his back. The creature stared back, pulling into a sitting position with its eyes warily set on the boy in front of it. "Yeah, that's right... you better be scared," he said with a laugh, sauntering over to the group of Hufflepuffs he vaguely knew. Scrubbles growled at his retreating back.

"Tessa Anne Goffe! How's my second favourite Quiddich player? The first being myself, of course.." he joked, completely ignoring the dog that, had it been human, would have been glaring daggers at him. As if in hindsight, he grinned at the other Hufflepuff chaser, too. "No offense, Elizabeth. You're still third."

Elizabeth Fontaine

Beth grimaced at the sight of the Ravenclaw that got thrown into the trees. She hadn't expected for Scrubbles to be that strong, but what she hadn't expected even more was the headmaster and his deputy's arrival. The sight of them caused an involuntary smile to find its way to Beth's lips. The headmaster was a man Beth felt gratitude towards, considering that she would not have had a second chance to study magic if it hadn't been for his kind heart.

"I hope there's no pop quiz or anything," she whispered to Tessa. She didn't want to look like a mess in front of the headmaster by having a blank mind when asked a question... Or by being thrown to the trees as the Ravenclaw had done.

Beth arched a brow as MacFusty approached them, slyly smirking at Tessa. She tossed a faux-hurt look towards him as she gasped, "For shame, James. And here I was thinking I'm your favourite." She gave Tessa a teasing glare before turning to Ryan and grinning. "I'm still you favourite Quidditch player, right? You're not going to betray me like these two."

Tessa Goffe
"He says that to everyone." Tessa rolled her eyes. She refused to look MacFusty in the eye though, and the tips of her ears were red hot. It wasn't discernible from her face if it was from embarrassment

"I'm still you favorite Quidditch player, right? You're not going to betray me like these two." Tessa looked at Beth in wide eyed horror.

"Are you saying that I have betrayed you? I would never. You are my favorite Quidditch player." She pointedly spoke to Beth. "What kind of Hufflepuff do you take me as?" The look of abject horror she had been giving Beth fell then, she couldn't keep her face straight any longer.
