I may eventually reinstate an old roleplay idea where the y chromosome has been severely deteriorating so that men are born less and less until they're near extinct, thus making the entire human race threatened by extinction by the time there aren't enough men around to get women pregnant. This would obviously lead to some yuri action (there aren't enough men around to keep everyone satisfied). Once this roleplay ends, if you guys like the idea then we can have another roleplay involving this. However, I probably wouldn't have it take place in a school so we can have a change of scenery. There are many more story ideas that go along with this plot then have it simply be a romance anyways. After all, if nothing drastic is done then entire countries can fall, so it ignites plenty of wars.

Men, and thus humanity, are saved from extinction in the end as the deterioration is stopped and stabilized at about men being 5% of the population. As technology advances they can stimulate parthenogenesis to occur and also clone women (the y chromosome still can't be messed around with/cloned).

I guess some other aspects of it might be similar. I'll look at more info about it.

The alien race is basically also pretty identical to humans. They are just advanced and more ahead technology wise. Their men basically slowly died out and the race of women was forced to evolve to be able to reproduce with other women. Of course, that eventually is realized that it only delays extinction and will not always work. They come earth, take all the women but also realize there is a guy with their species gene that could give them a male of their species and save their race.

At least I think that's how it goes, at treats the most similarities of it. There's more to it but blah xD

Oddly enough I can't find any info on Blue Drop that sounds anything like the plot I gave, but if it does have similar aspects with the background the plot will certainly differ greatly, being about humans rather then an alien invasion.

In my story yaoi would be frowned upon because it would be a waste of "resources". However, I can see it still retaining a huge fanbase as a fetish because it would be so rare like a forbidden fruit. Yuri would loose it's impact in that regard.
