Dude, green augmetic mid is literally what I put down, unless mid and medium are different somehow. I guess I'm also a bit confused since the only other person in a crazy tech suit that I can see rolled controller, and despite me going augmetic I got something that is super similar.

Well, shit.

I can understand you're not allowing rerolls, and that's fair, but I really don't like the looks of that character so I'm just going to give my spot to Arowne. He applied only moments after me after all, and with any luck he'll get a better roll and get something he actually enjoys playing. Best I can think of for what I got is something that might make me not hate it, still a far cry from something I'd actually enjoy.

Best of luck with this then. I really do hope it turns out well, I just really don't want to be stuck with a character I don't find compelling.

Ah well, Tis a shame to see you go. Though that was one of the risks with this RP, people don't like what they rolled.

I think part of it is that some of the stuff isn't clear- I thought the colour was a visual thing, not something that determined the role. Again, not asking for a reroll since that's a completely logical rule, just explaining my misunderstanding. Would have stayed the hell away from green if I knew it meant support-leaning stuff. Need to stop editing my posts...

Shh! don't give it away! hehe. I can understand that, but that was half of the game I think, Its about trying to work it out and guess your best. Though from what you talk about playing, I would love a normal RP with you at some point.

And honestly the rolling is an interesting idea, and it's leagues better than the "here's your character, here's their personality and history and PLAY THEM EXACTLY LIKE THIS" that I've seen some other (crappy) RPs do. You might have a better batting average of people getting character prompts that they enjoy if you explain the categories a little bit more though—not saying to give full explanations, just something. Would help with stuff that's super subjective, like the meaning of colours. For me, green is a colour of wild impulse and freedom, since I grew up in a forest. I very much don't associate it with anything medical or support related, so for me that link kinda felt like it came out of left field.

And yeah, I'd be happy to do an RP with you sometime, either group or just one on one! Let me know if you do another one of these category roll ones too, now that I understand your metrics a bit better I think I'm less likely to get saddled with a prompt I dislike :P

I'll PM you, I've got a stupid large amount of 1x1 ideas that I never get to roll simply because I don't have enough partners/time/hours in a day to run them all.

Description;
You are a Non-human, A member of a race of creatures that have left the normal 'mortal' plane behind, uploading your sentence in to a bio-mechanical weaponized suit you are capable of surviving in highly harsh environments and even in the vacuum of space. Though you fear EMP's like death itself. your sentience is backed up on to a computer inside the cube, meaning you cannot truly die. However each time you die, you lose all your 'progress' (regained memories, and new skills) since you last returned to the cube. Your 'combat form' is specialised in medium ranged combat, armed with a plasma arc caster which has two firing modes, a arcing lightning mode, which bounces from target to target, or a large grenade like mode, which fires heavy plasma shells. Your other 'hand' contains a directed shield generator, which allows you to temporarily call up a high strength energy shield for you and your allies.

Personality; He is friendly enough due to his natural curiosity. He constantly refers to himself as "This unit"
History; this unit does not seem able to remember anything short of who he is right now.

Creation

His species were forced to change their forms from the physical plane due to conditions on their home world. However this caused them to make a choice. Since they were now near immortal they would not become tyrants or false gods like many would. They would use this power to protect the galaxy as best they could. They would fight to keep the peace it the galaxy at all costs. This unit was a leader among his people. A great commander.

Powers/Skills; 1) He can interface with most technologies to try and fix them. 2)Dual rocket jets in his feet that allow for short jumps. 3)able to survive even in a vacuum 4) Able to reroute power to allies from his own body. 5) Adaptive camouflage. He can change his out ward looks to match a certain species. It was used when they went to the different planets.
