I'm going to write up a much more in detail summary but here's what I have (just wanted to get this out there) -
High Casual - Group of 6ish - Modern - Not really superhero, but similar
A privately funded organization has went in to the science of creating supersoldiers. Without making any considerable changes to appearance besides fitness and muscle of the soldier in question, the science has now led to the subjects have highly improved strength, speed, stamina, agility and awareness. The organization undertakes this procedure without prior permission or even knowledge of it from the government, and only takes a few weeks to complete - meaning that the creation of these superheroes is happening under the nose of the US without any consent. Whilst the procedure does have some side-effects, such as headaches and insomnia, it does indeed create a 'supersoldier' that is particular efficient in hand-to-hand combat but can cover any field, even if the subject in question was, before their operations, a fairly average human.
For the past several months the company, has been getting all of it's recruits through the same methods; they have offered young troubled people an out - an opportunity to leave their lives and get a completely clean slate, live a new life in a new place without any of their prior woes, have exceptional living facilities, medical care with one single catch: they must work and train for the company that created them.
The company is based on the private island owned by the same billionaire that owns the company. On the island is his huge private home that has a large science facility, several state of the art training facilities as well as guest suites (for our characters at the moment.)
Our characters will be the first batch of these supersoldiers. The RP will start off on this private island out in the Caribbean where we will be trained and eventually sent out to work. Our characters have all chosen to leave their previous lives and take on a new life. It shall be a relatively small group (like 6 I guess) and the RP will be very focused on character development, but there will hopefully be quite a lot of action and plot development too. I would like this to be fairly long running, so please only sign up if you are committed.
