14. Accidental Family

If anyone had asked Katherin why a blind woman was roaming Los Vegas she would have said something like: Not seeing the sights or, not looking for someone." yes she had an odd personalit but she couldn't help it. She had been blind her whole life having a sense of humor helped her deal with it. The truth was she didn't know why she was here. There was nothing for her here. She bought tickets random places and explored them before moving on. That's what she was doing now. Exploring.

15.Sleeping Beauty-

Liz wake to the feel of someone's lips pressed to hers. For a second she was afraid to move. Who was kissing her? Why were they kissing her? The sensation stirred something inside her. But she couldn't identify the emotions. When she finally gathered the courage to open her eyes she saw the face of a stranger. She didn't recognize the person kissing her! What did that mean? Had she lost her memory?

Katherin carefully made her way down the street. She knew it was late. She could hear the decreased activity around her. She used her cane to check the path in front of her. She traveled this route often enough that she wasn't worried about getting lost without a guide. As a blind orphan she was use to making her own way. She was halfway a crossed the street when a sound from the alley caught her attention.

Katherin used her cane to make her way through the woods. She had long ago memorize the path. She wouldn't get lose as long as she didn't get distracted. The woods were like a second home to her. Her 'grandfather' had lived in them most of her life. Katherin smiled at the thought of the man she called grandfather. They weren't technically related but the lack of a blood connection didn't lessen their love for one another.

Griffin considered himself an avenger of the weak and helpless. He knew what it was like to be at the mercy of someone stronger than he was. He would do whatever he could to help anyone in that situation. So when he heard stories of a woman who had been cursed he went to check it out. In this day and age most people would have written the person off. But he wasn't most people. He believed that anything was possible, even curses.

Liz went back to with her fairy. Melody insisted that it was time for her to go back to Earth. She didn't want to be she couldn't refuse Melody. She would go back just to see what had changed. She didn't plan to stay. There was nothing on Earth for her. She had left because she was unwanted and unloved. That hadn't changed. It couldn't have. All that would be different was that everyone was older now.

Katherin was nervous about this pet sitting job. She wasn't sure why but this job felt different. She had been pet sitting for since she was ten. It was a good way for her to earn money for food and other essentials. It wasn't easy being an orphan. She was living on her own now. The agency felt that at eighteen she was capable of taking of taking care of herself. She had to agree since she had mostly taken care of herself most of her life.

Zack walked towards the library. He had to study for his math test. He stopped and looked around. All week he had a feeling that he was someone was watching him. The feeling was strange. Although he was popular and energetic he didnt consider himself interesting. He didnt see anything out of the ordinary but than again he hadnt seen anything all week. He frowned but figure that it didnt matter. He continued to the library.

He felt stupid. No matter how much he studied he could figure out the assignments out. He was going to have to ask for help or risk not graduating. He hated to admit that he wasnt going to be able to do himself. But he couldn't fail. He had to graduate. He waited for the other students to leave the class. Once the room was empty. Then he gathered his books and made his way to the teacher's desk.

3.FBI/Witness-

Roxy had power. It was a weird feeling. After years under her father's thumb she finally had her way out. She finally had the power to do something. She had been slipping supplies out hoping that the she would be get enough for a place for her and Drake. But this was even better. This way she would have protection for her son. First she had to get the proof to the FBI. She tucked the video into her jacket and picked Drake up. Everyone was fast asleep. This was her chance to sneak out. She was glad Drake was sleeping. She silently made her way out of the house.

Katherin listened to her ship carefully. She had to trust that the computer had been programed correctly. Being blind meant that she couldn't make any corrections that might be needed. She was on a mission to find a cure to an illness that had hit her home planet hard. She didn't know where to look but the scientist assured her that they had spent years researching the most likely places to find the cure and the planet they were sending her to was the most likely planet to find the cure. The ship signaled that it was ready to land. She hoped to land someplace rural.

Liz was walking through her garden trying to relax. She had spent the day the healing at her clinic. Healing always made her tired but it was the only thing she had ever know. She had been healing as long as she could remember. Sometimes she dreamed of leaving her Father's house. She wanted to see the world beyond the mansion. But she knew that dream could never be. She wasn't a fighter. Without a way to protect herself she was stuck under her Father's protection.

Liz desperately wished she had the courage to talked to the guy that she had fallen for. He was everything she had ever wanted to be. He was popular and outgoing. Not to mention strong and brave. She wanted to talk to him but she knew that she never would. She was too shy to talk to someone like him. So she followed him like a love sick puppy instead. She was careful though so that he would never see her lurking. She didnt know what she would do if he saw her.

Zack heard fighting. Viking he thought to himself in disgust. The ultimate bullies as far as he was concerned. They were always picking on people who couldn't defend themselves. Well that wasn't the case this time. This time they had someone to defend them. He grappled his sword and rushed out the door. He began taking out those closest to his forge. He would not let them destroy his village.

He loved the open sea. He loved the power of having ten men at his beck and call. He loved showing small villages his power by taking hostages and ransacking whatever he could find. He loved being a pirate. He loved having control of other people's fate. He loved power period. He watched as his men prepare to land at a small village near the sea. He doubt they had much worth anything. So they would be looking for slaves mostly.

Griffin paced his cage. He was passed. His father decided since he could no longer control him that he would sell him to someone that might be able to. Griffin didnt care. No one could be a worse master than his father. What passed him off was that he had to leave his son in the hands of a mad man. He had to find way to save his son. He didn't want Sam suffering the way he had. But how could he convince his new owner to rescue the child? Griffin dent know but he was hoping he would think of something before someone bought him.
