Story

It’s been almost a decade since one of the greatest hybrid alpha passed away. His pack lost sight of the truth, grew apart and fought over meaningless conflicts. Their leader no more, their alphess vanished and the second male in line died the winter prior to the leader’s downfall, his mate wandered off in the following days. Nowhere to be seen, no one to look after and guide the followers, the large territory of Nebraska became overwhelmed by the prey, and the wolves no longer inhabitants of the lands.

At two years of age, a new force appeared, slender legs and undersized paws, shadow black pelt tinged with what appeared a steel blue hue. Markings like that of a pedigree husky, bald white face and ocean blue orbs. His frame stocked with the mass of winters grasp, thick fur padding an athletic frame, a hybrid with his sights set on power. By his side a smaller solid silvery fur her eyes a pale golden yellow and her body stockier, like a pure Alaskan bred canid.

They’ve been here almost a week, their paws trailing their mark through the lands, the snow deep and covering them after a light fall. Territory scouted out and scents of the male traced everywhere. They now lay content within the rocky caverns of the old packs den. Seemingly related, the two hybrids were loyal to one another in a sense, never parting ways. Ears always on alert, prepared for the passing of new blood to recruit.

Will you join this new life? Lands filled with elk, deer, boar and buffalo. Bowing to the power of the new leader and defending against men who have set up settlements around.

Learn to work as one, hunting, protecting and providing for one another. Wolves build firm bonds, a family of mixed blood; will this family thrive or pass? Can you make it all come together?

There will be more to come story and plot wise, this was just an idea I had, and was wondering if anyone was interested, I am looking for roughly 5-6 members including I and for the Role-Play to be casual (2-3 paragraphs a standard or more). Though will accept what I can get. If interested comment or PM me and if I get enough interest will create a character sheet and a thread. I will allow the Role-Playing of 1 wolf or hybrid in the beginning; though I do have two. But, I may reconsider this choice depending on shown interest.

I'm not quite sure what a lot of this is about. What's so special about a hybrid? and why are they special?

I really like the concept of wolves vs humans for territory.

It is one of the more realistic plot ideas around here.

I also really like your story introduction. I would like to join this if its ok.

@ Renny - Hybrids aren't anything special, a mix of pure wolf with different blood, like that of a husky for instance, they don't hold special powers or anything. I was aiming for a RP, where we are the animal on all fours in a natural environment sort of thing. No talking or anything like that, if you'd like any form of example you can shoot me a PM and I'll get back to you.

@ Gareth - Thank you, if there is any more interest I'd be happy to start up this RP, but if not we could try a one - on - one in PM or a thread where we RP a little more than just one wolf. Though we can figure that out if your up for it ^-^
