"Animals?" She questioned, raising a brow. They had been out here awhile and she hadn't seen anything out of the ordinary.
"Nothing particularly dangerous, I assure you," Val responded with another closed-eye smile, waving a hand in front of him in a nonchalant gesture. "Just a couple sneaky ones who seem a bit too quickly attracted to the more unprotected new blossoms we're keeping in the garden. The gardeners have been working on solutions, but we don't have too many options until the lovely person in charge of these particular affairs returns from her errands in town."
Opening his eyes again, he turned to see Alex's state with only a very slight change in the oddly cheerful look on his face at the current situation. "Oh dear, this wasn't supposed to happen. Young Miss, if you could do this humble servant a great favor and tell the others inside to report to their rooms immediately, I'm sure that we would both be eternally grateful. I thought I mentioned this issue this morning, but I believe I may be facing a slight reprimanding." Moving quickly, he attempted to push Lilly in the direction of the doorway before turning back to the transforming boy. "Just ask any of the other personnel if you require assistance."
