New member here, however, not new to role playing. I'm a pretty easy going person so feel free to hit me up if you're so inclined.
Genre's I enjoy include fan-fics, sci-fi, modern fantasy and futuristic. I'm not very good at historical, but it does seem fun, and I'm willing to do my homework to be historically accurate.

Sounds like you might be interested in my thread. :D It is set in a modern to slightly futuristic setting and utilizes the core creature capture principle from something such as Pokemon.
