Darkness Awaits - Another Magic RP

I would like to note,

This is my first roleplay I've ever done, on any site. I'm testing the waters, so please give me some time to adjust. I've never done this before, and I'm more than likely to mess up somewhere.

On another note,

This is going to be a pretty pointless roleplay. I don't have a "goal" in mind for finishing it. That is something I feel can be worked on as the roleplay develops and the general purpose becomes more clear. Until that point, bear with loads of pointless information, content, actions, and seemingly meaningless plot turns, flips, and barrel rolls. I've yet to decide what I want out of this roleplay.

Welcome to Deepwinter.
You are a student studying in England. However, it's not quite as simple as it seems. You've been granted the ability, whether a gift or curse, to control certain points of the reality around you. Most call this magic, however you identify yourselves as; "Reality Benders". You've managed to control this ability, at least enough to be functional. However, you wish to further harness your abilities. So, you've found a place where the other RBs gather, to gain knowledge, and share what they can. This is a safe haven. Furthermore, some of the RBs have decided that they're a "master race" of sorts, and need to destroy the "normal" population.

Rules

Your granted a maximum of 2 abilities. Your abilities need to have 1 downside each, to balance it out. Character appearances must be image only, and anime is allowed, and promoted. The minimum age you're allocated is 17, and the maximum is 19 (to prevent pedophiliac in-character relationships, and maintain a sense of realism.) No more than fade to black. "Kissing" allowed, but no detail please.

My Character

Name: Alex Jackson
Age: 18
Appearance:
History: Alex grew up in the UK, living mostly in London. His family was mostly well off, and provided him a decent education, however this didn't stop Alex from going out and doing drugs, partying and the like. Quickly the partying turned into a habit, and Alex lived this way for roughly 2 years. He's since quit most of the drugs, and is living in Deepwinter.
Personality: Alex is a fighter. He's got a very short fuse, and is quite easy to set off. This is partly due to drug abuse as a teenager. While he is very aggressive, he is also very passionate, and and when finds things he loves, he loves them with his all.
Abilities: Shadow and sound manipulation. Combining these two abilities, Alex has managed to become a sort of "ninja". He can manipulate shadows, literally becoming just a shadow hidden in a dark corner, while creating sound elsewhere, distracting his opponent. He prefers fighting at night, when it is easy to become disorientated. If Alex trains enough, his shadow manipulation abilities could develop into darkness manipulation, and his sound abilities could manifest itself into such a powerhouse that it could rip atoms apart from pure vibrations.
Downsides: Alex is very vulnerable in the day, and in water. Because of this, Alex avoids places like the beach, or pools. This causes him to be socially deprivation making him lack companionship.
Affinity: Alex supports humans remaining alive.

NOTE: This is NOT a romance roleplay, however I highly encourage character interaction of any type. I have absolutely no problem with romance in roleplay, however I do not want it to be a main point.

Name: Zeig

Appearance:
History: Zeig grew up in a small town of Holy Cross in Ireland. He suffered the loss of his best friend when he turned 15 when his friend committed suicide. At that time Zeig started to cut himself. Noticing him spiraling into depression his parents sent him on a trip to explore Europe when he ended up in DeepWinter.
Personality: Zeig is very isolated and doesn't talk much but isn't afraid of a fight. He always seems spaced out and that he doesn't care.
Ability(ies): He has the ability to cause instant pain to people he chooses as well as the ability to heal the wounds of friends.
Downside(s): Both these actions cause Zeig the same amount of pain as it causes the one being injured/healed

History: Theo was born in America where she lived a happy life with her twin sister Rose and her two loving parents. Rose and Theo were opposites in just about everything, even their powers, but they loved each other very much, they were best friends. One day, when Rose and Theodora were 12, they went to a local park. No one was around, so they decided to practice their powers. Out of nowhere two girls from their school came up to the two girls and attacked them, calling them unnatural and freaks of nature. Theodora was able to fight back and ended up killing the two girls, but not before they had done too much damage to Rose. Rose died in the hospital two days later from internal bleeding. After the loss of her sister, Theodora stopped going to school and started to hang out with the "wrong" Reality Benders. She would use her powers to torture and inflict pain on humans. Her parents became so worried about her that they sent her to live with her Aunt in DeepWinter.
Personality: After the death of her sister, Theodora became more introverted. She observes those around her and watches for their strength and weaknesses. She comes off quite, sometimes stuck up. If someone says something to upset her, she will become very vocal, sometimes even using her powers to retaliate. She doesn't form attachments easily. If she trusts someone, it will only take that person messing up once for her lose all faith in that person.
Ability(ies): Light and Wind manipulation. She can brighten or dim the light 100 feet around her, be it natural or artificial. She has gotten to the point that she can create a narrow stream of light to land on a person and sting them. She can also manipulate the wind, either creating a wind storm, or giving a light breeze on a nice summer day. The most she can do with either of these is blind someone for a few minutes and sting them with a small beam of light and blow someone down. If she continues to practice this craft, she will be able to give an entire room third-degree burns and create giant wind tunnels that destroy small towns.
Downside(s): After using her light manipulation she becomes very hot, the longer she uses it she can become dehydrated, and eventually pass out. After using her wind manipulation, she loosed air in her lungs, causing her to hyperventilate . It is more likely she will pass out from using her wind manipulation.
Affinity: Theodora hates humans. She doesn't voice her opinion on them very often, but when she does, they are comments about destroying them and "sending them to where they belong".

History: A natural born American who studied abroad in Germany on a scholarship for archery, for several years and during this time grew more attuned to his power, however he kept them hidden from his classmates. During his stay he befriend a bird he named Mary that has been his friend ever since. He actually planned to live a normal life having a German girlfriend, Karolyna, who he planned to live with after graduation. One night when they were coming home from the movies a man attempted to kill her, scared he drew upon his power summoning a bow and killed the man. Frightened Karolyna told him to leave, so he returned to his dorm and packed up. He left Germany and headed towards England, to the place his parents met... Deepwinter.

Personality: A happy go lucky guy, very friendly but also shy tends to blend into the background. Very considerate if a bit weak and unstable. Due to not having many friend often does not connect well with others. However is also nervous around females especially. His bird, Mary often flies alongside him and even sometimes seem to understand speech. He is very emotional and if set up will use his powers without hesitation even risking his own death.

Ability(ies):

Conjuration- Allows him to warp reality and grab a object he has stored in a pocket dimension doing this require either extreme concentration or extremely powerful emotion. If this is practiced he can actually use it warp from one spot to the next if able to take the pain of the experience.

Bliss- Attuning his voice he can sing any song or melody in passing that is simply. However when applied with focus and he can lull even the most violent people into a sense of calm and peacefulness. If practiced he can amplify it through instruments as well as his voice.

Downside(s):

Conjuration- Reaching into his pocket dimension cause's him immense pain and if the objects he pulled are kept to long they will start to pull him into the pocket Dimension and seal it leaving him in unending pain.

Bliss- However using this focused version can leave him without a voice for several days if used to long, or remove his voice permanently. If play through a instrument it cause the instrument to go out of tune until repaired properly.

Affinity: Current believes humans are untrustworthy and vile, however has grown up with them, waveringly against humans.

Short Bio: Allen was 7 when he moved with his mother who got a divorce with his father and Allen would just listen to music. He loved music ever since his mother would play her instruments like the trumpet and flute. So when Allen got his headphones from his father Allen's father said that no one is to use the headphones but Allen and said that the headphones contained energy only to be used by the Price bloodline and Allen told him that there is nothing to worry about. Then his father disappeared one day after the divorce and Allen didn't know what he will do without talking to his dad. Because Allen thought his father would understand anything he would tell him and loved him for listening to his issues. Then when Allen got to his house he'll be living in with his mother, he met many new friends and grew up there with them and still no letters or calls from his lost father.
Personality: Allen tends to hide his real emotions behind a big smile and doesn't like talking about it to his mom. He also loves to chat and be social with friends that are usually around him most of the time. He is also athletic and loves the sport soccer, and the most important part of his personality is that he loves music. What ever kind of music he listens to seems to give him more energy and pumps him up for anything. If Alex is feeling sad, mad, angry, or just plain bored he would listen to his music and forget about whatever he was emotional about.
Ability: He has the ability to gather energy from his headphones while listening to music use it to enhance his abilities or others like boosting their abilities better than it was before
Downside of his Ability: He can only enhance one ability a time like strength, regeneration, or stamina and only lasts as long of the average song and when he wants to enhance again, he can't , because it has a cool down time like 10 minutes and then he is most vulnerable so he can't get in a fight without back up
