So I know I said I was considering a female to replace Nightwing, I ended up playing Samurai Shodown 2 and inspiration struck... I'm not really officially saying his in though just yet, since I want to be sure I'm not forgetting any women out there who would be awesome to play as. I was considering Go Go Tomago from Big Hero 6 (the recent movie not the Marvel comic) but I felt weird about the idea of the team broken up for whatever reason.

Brief Bio: The only son, and third youngest, in a family of four children. Galford looked up to his father like any boy would typically do. A police officer in the streets of San Francisco, Galford's father, Washington Weller, was a respected and highly regarded officer for the department. Though this made him enemies with others in the department, and one night while taking his son home from the movies, Galford's father was attacked by a man who he immediately recognized. Though before anymore could happen, Washington Weller was shot and killed when the attacker aimed at Galford 'to send a message', only for Washington to block the bullet and protect him.
The pain swelled up inside Galford and soon his anger led him running away from home. Traveling abroad alone until one night in Spokane, Washington when he found a puppy that had been abused and left to die. He helped the dog back to being healthy and named it Poppy. Soon though while traveling Galford was attacked and robbed by another criminal. In Galford seeing his life flash before his eyes though, a man in black came down and attacked the man. Galford wanted to know who the man was, the man quietly told him “Hanzo.” Before leaving, Galford realized he had been saved by a ninja.
Galford diligently studied and learned everything he could about them, not just in their history but possibly any clans that exist, or who exactly this 'Hanzo' figure himself was. Whatever he could scape together information wise led him to sneaking aboard a cargo ship to Japan. Where after two months of more research he ended up finding not only Hanzo himself, but the very people who trained him. Serving under their wing Galford was trained in Koga Ninjitsu Arts. Helping around the home of the master as payment and studying Japanese whenever he could. It was a long and grueling 10 years training, but eventually Galford was given blessings that he was ready, but only after one final ceremony.
Told to build his ninjato sword, Galford took the metal that was to become of the blade, and infused the very bullet that took his father's life into it. The ninjato was named 'Justice Blade' and soon Galford returned to America. Spending years traveling the swords with his loyal Poppy by his side. Taking down criminals, mobs, and anything else evil that got in his way. When he found himself in Gotham one night, Galford was approached by a man who understood and shared many of his heartaches, who offered him a spot on a team that will have his back.
Abilities: Trained to the brink in all things ninjitsu, Galford is at peak human condition and is an expert in stealth, holding his breath and swimming, climbing, leaping, running, and other things. On top of this Galford can focus his chi to create electricity like arches which he generally uses with his attacks. On top of this, Galford was taught long forgotten techniques in being able as is teleporting short distances, as well as having mirror images of himself appear for short times. Though he won't say how to anyone for anything. Often times Galford goes out with his dog Poppy. Who while a loyal and generally good dog. Has no problem attacking and obeying Galford's every command.
Personality: Despite his own difficult life, Galford is a optimistic person and generally cheerful in his general way of life. That isn't to say though when it comes time to fight he will not become serious. As in battle Galford can become almost frighteningly serious.
Competitive in spirit Galford does always believe in good sportsmanship, but believes in the idea of and has executed lives when he believed it was for the greater good. His biggest regret in life is running away and abandoning his family, and often times when coming into money has just sent it to them anonymously. Galford doesn't really do much with anything electronic, and while he knows how to use most of it out there just prefers not to do so. When it comes to Poppy, Galford considers him possibly his only real friend up until joining the Titans. As they often play together and have one another's backs, and God have mercy on your soul if you threaten one, as the other will not hesitate.
Appearance:
Standing at 6'2 Galford has a lean and very fit look to his body. Though up until he joins the Titans he typically just lived in his ninjitsu gear, Galford adopts a very simple but functional attire for life outside of being a hero. His dog Poppy is a large black and white colored dog, that has a few notable scars on it from years of battle.
