[IC] Gintama: Every soul shines in it's own way

Cronic's hearing was given a slight boost when he got his modifications, enabling him to pick out that the ninja and her associates were heading for Kabuki harbour, but that was about it. His eyesight however, was greatly enhanced, and he promptly spotted the wire she ran on, and the rooftop she was stood on. He could try to capture her now, or at least give chase, but he knew that whoever she was, if she had companions... The odds were not in his favour if he tried to take them on alone. Who knows what kind of things she was capable of? Instead, he shifted his focus on the Shinsengumi HQ, before pulling out a cellphone, and promptly called Hijikata.

Cronic began tapping his feet impatiently as he waited for him to answer.

As guy Chased after his beloved drink, he grabs on to a shoe, only to notice he had grabbed a young girls shoe. He quickly grabbed the soda under her and stood up, as her and her opponent look at him.
"how are you guys today?" he said and he began dusting rubble off his shirt. He noticed one had a red in his eye and stared at his contently.
"hey what's that all about" They had clearly been fighting, but he didn't care, as long as they were nice to him, he would do the same.

Yoshi made a quick hop over the umbrella. "Great.. She's just what I thought." He said as he came down. The second his feet hit the floor he charged at her. He had fair enough speed to be able to avoid her attacks and possibly get in a good hit himself. Of course, he'd never actually fought a Yato. Still since he wasn't alone maybe he'd stand a chance. Why is this happening to me? Yoshi thought completely annoyed with this situation. "Why are the hot ones always crazy?" He asked growing increasingly agitated with this battle. Hopefully this wouldn't become a usual thing. He wouldn't feel anything but sorry for someone who had to fight a Yato on a usual basis.

Kei was standing leaning against a wall. "Yeah I'm here. Lucky me didn't get stopped by anyone." He said as he fiddled with his fingers in hopes of one of his comrades arriving soon.

Humaru stares over at Yoshi, an unimpressed look on his face, he runs toward him, jumping up and sending a foot toward his face, if such connects Yoshi would be sent back, leaving the girl to himself so he can get some more practice "Hrm..I am going to have alot of fun with this one.." He murmurs, running toward her once more.

[Demon Shinobi]

Yoshi dodged the blow fairly easily. He glared at Humaru. He wasn't going to fight him right now. The priority was the Yato. He couldn't believe this. He just hoped it wouldn't turn into him having to fend off this guy while fighting Arashi. That would just upset him. He sighed as he swung his sword down diagonally from the left at Arashi with lightning speed. Should she dodge his next move would already be coming. He spun the hilt of his blade in his hand and swung once more at her horizontally from the right. The move seemed to flow as if one fluid movement.

"We're doing just great! This is so much fun!" Arashi chanted in response to Guy, returning to her playful mood as she casually began blocking and parrying Yoshi's sword attacks. Even if she was physically superior, it was just as Kamui said: Samurai packed more of a punch than anyone else he'd ever faced. Now Arashi understood what he meant. This one was fast and powerful. She actually wondered if Yoshi was holding back... "Mr. Samurai~, what's your name~?" The gleeful Yato chanted, swinging her umbrella horizontally along Yoshi's chest, leaving her upper body completely exposed - like she WANTED someone to try for the easy kill.

Picking herself back up, Kokone watched as a young man decided to turn on Yoshi in the middle of the fighting. "Damn it, fuck your warriors pride or whatever! That girl is a Yato, she's gonna kill us if we don't fight her together!" She shouted.

As soon as the phone began to ring, it was answered.

"Hijikata here. Make this quick, we're trying to track down some terrorists here..." The Demon Vice-Chief muttered calmly, but coldly like always. He hadn't bothered checking to see who the caller was, but Cronic was a welcome face around Edo's law enforcement groups, especially the Shinsengumi. Hijikata knew any intel Crystalis provided was accurate and straight to the point.

As yoshi was about to connect the hit, guy kicked the blade away from the girl. He stepped out in front of them and cracked pen the drink in his hand.
"guys guys guys. why are we fighting, can't we all just get along" he said, taking a swig.
He wasn't sure who to help, or who the bad guy was, but he wanted everyone to chill, that way they don't try to arrest him again, as he always seemed to be an escape goat for all these criminals.

[Demon Shinobi]

Yoshimori stood dumbfounding for a moment before pointing at Guy. "Kokone! Arrest this man for obstructing justice! I'll try to bring the Yato in!" He called back as he looked back at Arashi. He sighed and side stepped the man and went for her again this time swinging with the intent to inflict quick, precise, non fatal blows. "You asked my name." he said throughout their clash. He didn't take any chances. Which meant if he wasn't sure about whether or not the attack would work he wouldn't attack when she was "open". "Well it's Yoshimori Nagase of the Shinsengumi." He told her as he continued to attack. "Now tell me Ms. Yato. What was your name again?" He asked with a small smirk. He knew this was crazy. In fact he was thinking This is crazy! over and over in his mind as he fought her. But he was actually enjoying a fight. He might even be able to go all out on her.

"I'll spare you the bullshit then; I don't know where they're from, but I do know where they'll be shortly once their buisness is concluded. Kabuki Harbour. Likely to be used as an escape point. I've also realised that one of them bears the skill set of a ninja. I'm going ahead to scout the place in advance. I'm not stupid enough to try and charge the place alone with no idea what I'm dealing with." Cronic said, as he began leaping from rooftop to rooftop, heading for the harbour while keeping the phone to his ear.

Reasoning for the terrorists using Kabuki Harbour in order of likelihood; #1: Rendezvous/Escape point. #2, less likely: A hideout in the area. #3, least likely, but still possible: A concealed base of operations. Cronic thought to himself as he continued his approach to the harbour.

"I don't take orders from you, you asshat!" Kokone argued, seeming revitalized the moment Yoshi ordered her, the COMMANDER around! But she wasn't going to arrest the harmless Guy, no... She walked up behind Yoshi, pulled out her handcuffs, and fixed one onto his wrist, fixing the other around a nearby telephone pole. And after doing so, she tossed the key to the Yato girl he was supposed to be fighting. "I'll leave it to you, Nagase. We're all counting on you to stop the terrorist."

Arashi gleefully caught the key and tossed it into her mouth, breaking the thing apart with her teeth and swallowing all the metal shards. "Too bad~, I'm gonna use you like a chew toy now!" She told him in a delightful manner, "And since you asked nicely, 'Ms. Yato' is called Arashi. It's a pleasure to meet ya'." Arashi chanted before driving the umbrella straight at Yoshi's stomach. It might not penetrate, but if it hit it would pack a hell of a punch.

"...Oh no, don't mind me and Yoshimori here. Everyone can have a good time!" Arashi then chanted in Humaru's direction. If that Guy guy didn't want to fight, that was his choice, and Arashi would respect that. ...And likely kill him last.

Hijikata could be heard on the other end of the call making a satisfied 'Hmph', "Always in the right place at the right time, eh Crystalis?" He said before placing one hand over the phone. "Listen up! Third Squad, Fourth Squad, stop the search for the terrorists, we got a lead on their whereabouts. All of you: head to the port in Kabuki-chou!" He lifted his hand off the phone as men could be heard rushing around in the background, and sirens flaring up. "DON'T USE SIRENS YOU IDIOTS! WE'LL TAKE THEM BY SURPRISE! ...Sorry about that. Cronic, I'll be there too. Do what you can to stall them if they're preparing to leave, but nothing suicidal - good luck." He advised, ending the call and getting into his own patrol car.

At the Kabuki district harbour there were three ships. Two were in hangars being prepared to leave, and one was visibly ready to move out in plain sight. There was a man who wore a resemblance to Takasugi Shinsuke, the leader of the Kiheitai, but this one had sharp silver hair. He was joined by that ninja woman Cronic fought moments earlier, and a teenager with modern clothing on (Kei/Demon Shinobi).

Guy kicked the umbrella out of the way, barely taking it from making contact.
"ok now I get it you are the bad guy and this fellow is the good guy" he said pointing to yoshi.
He was now interested in the battle, as he now realized that she was a yato. He had fought with the likes of them before, and he knew that they could tear a man to shreds like they were the packages his twinkies came in. He had been the sparring buddy of a yato for a year or 2 when he had been captured, well really he was more of a moving heavy bag. But still maybe his little incounter would help him be the hero, and maybe get him a job, he sure could use one.

Cronic had stopped atop a rooftop overlooking the harbour, having put the phone back where he took it out of, and crouched down near the edge, staring at the ninja woman, who he recognised immediately, but didn't know her accomplices. Due to his augmented vision, he didn't need a scope or binoculars; He could zoom in on them right away, with no risk of the reflection off the lens of the aforementioned equipment.

Should've bought a sniper rifle... Hold on, isn't that...? No... It looks like him, but his hair's the wrong colour... Cronic thought to himself, planning a possible route of attack.

It's possible she may have more associates. It's unlikely they'll leave without them. We've probably got until then to apprehend them. As for which ship they'll leave on... Hrm... The obvious answer is the one that's not in the hangars...

[Demon Shinobi]

"HEY! I'm on you're... AH!" Yoshi tried ot speak only to shouted he leaped up. His sword was once again sheathed while each hand was gripping the pole and he held him self up in mid air. There seemed to be little strain on him, but still it most certainly wasn't a comfortable position. "Civilians should stay out of Shinsengumi business." He said as he swung his legs and spun around the pole sending a kick over Guy at Arashi. "Don't think I'll die easily just cause my little commander handcuffed me here." He said to her. This was fun. It would look funny to anyone. Occasionally acknowledging Guy only to ignore his existence after.

Guy took the kick to the face, thought it didn't hurt him as much, his eyes began to glow and he clenched his fist hard, only to grab yoshi by the neck and slam him to the pole.
"you little monster. LOOK WHAT YOU DID TO MY PRECIOUS" he said pointing to a can leaking a liquid out of it.
"that was my only soda for the day, I had to cut down or else I would lose my kidney in the next 5 years, and here you are ruining my day by taking my joy away" he tightened his grip, he had never had anyone do this to him, even his last boss respected his sugary goodness.

Humaru watches the scene unfold, realising what he is doing he turns, walking off almost bored like, he would dissapear from sight *Bored of this RP, My leave thanks everyone*

Yoshi glared at Guy keeping his eyes locked on the man while also paying attention to the yato. "Listen. Nothing would have happened to your damn soft drink had you not continued to get in the way of official Shinsengumi business." He said keeping strong as he quickly and in an almost unnoticeable fashion brought his hand over to the hilt of his blade. In a swift move he unsheathed it and sliced upwards at Guy. He just assumed the man would jump back as the speed and force behind the blade would make it nearly impossible to block with him being bare handed. He needed to het him away so he wouldn't be able to choke him anymore than he was. Once the attack was completely he'd resheathe his blade so he could better maneuver on the pole.

Guy noticed the sword and moved slightly to the side pulling off his back pack and throwing it at yoshi's sword hand. He realized now that they were shinsengami and wanted to back off but had to much pride. He never tried to deal with them, because they always ended up trying arrest him for being a revolutionary. He wasn't good at getting help from them anyway. he sighed as he he looked at the blade. Thin, so he would have a harder time blocking, but he might be able to break it if he can get it out of his hands. It's also hard so it will take a lot of time, so maybe you should make sure he can't use it, maybe take from him.

[Demon Shinobi]

Yoshi grit his teeth and caught the bag. since he'd already resheathed his sword. The blade not in his hand would be even harder to take. But he didn't care if it was taken. It was forged using some of if not the hardest material anyone knew of. The very same used to make yato umbrellas. The blade was a family heirloom. It'd lasted for a very long time and damn sure wouldn't given in now. "Look. I don't have time for you. The yato is priority." He said to guy as he hop up and kicked out to try and push the man back. He had a good grip on the pole he could use it to pull himself away or perhaps climb it. He hated his superior right now. She had to be a bitch and handcuff him to this crap.

As Cronic was on overwatch of the Kabuki district port, the man who seemed like a silver-haired Takasugi turned his head slowly to face him, staring and smiling darkly at the zoomed-in optics. That ninja woman with him turned her eyes to where he was looking and immediately threw two kunai toward the rooftop, aiming for his head. For that Takasugi fake to spot him so easily he must have inhuman senses. Given the technology was available, albeit at a very high price, he could have been genetically modified. That, or he could be the same as Cronic himself. Cyborgs were still a rarity though, so genetic alteration was likely the idea.

The Shinsengumi's cars were still racing to the area, their sirens deactivated. To alert the enemy would be a terrible mistake.

"Stay out of my way," Arashi told Guy after the umbrella was parried away. She took a spherical black device out of her coat and lobbed it into the Shinsengumi HQ, the piercing sound of beeping filling the air. It was a freakin' bomb! "Now let me kill Mr. Shinsengumi so I can go home~" She chanted, this time aiming to sweep underneath Yomi's legs to hit the telephone pole and break it.

Kokone meanwhile ran into the HQ and dived at the bomb, desperately trying to figure out a way to stop it. "30 seconds?! Well I'll just throw it-" She was interrupted as her arm refused to budge. She cupped her other hand and put it under the bomb, but the damn thing couldn't move! Of course the Yato girl could throw it! No one else here could! ...Except maybe that 'Guy' guy, he seemed pretty strong. "20 SECONDS. OHMYGOD." She screamed before running outside, "Gimme a hand with this thing unless you want everyone here to blow the hell up!" The Shinsengumi officer not-so-politely yelled at Guy. Formality was the last thing on her mind!

"I'll buy you all the soda you want if you throw it into the sky!" Kokone cried, pointing madly at the ridiculously heavy bomb.

Guy hearing the words soda grabbed the sphere, jumped on the umbrella and threw in towards the port midair. As he began to fall he went feet first as he went towards the yato girl, which she was bound to dodge. As he landed he created his fist and setting them in a right angle, and bounced on his feet, as he faced the girl.

"so I finally figured it out" he said as he put his back pack back on "your the bad guy, not the one on the pole, not ninja, not that robot chasing her, it was you. You hurt all those people, you killed people, what do you have to say for yourself" he pulled the zipper to the other side.

He looked at kokone as if she was a saint. He wasn't going to die without a soda in his hand, and he was sure he wasn't going out without a fight.

"hey, I did the deed now pay the price, I need that drink now" he shouted behind him.
