[OOC] Final Academy

[The One]

Congratulations, you have been chosen to join the Academy for the Unique, welcome to, Final Academy! Our name may be strange, but it has a meaning, like most things. We have a long history which is explained in the following booklet which is attached to this letter. Arkanite Secretan, the master of the academy shall greet you. Our job is to train you for the war, what you decide to do afterwards is up to you. You are to meet all the students in the main hall of the academy at exactly 13.00 hours. We hope to see you there.

History of Final Academy

Final Academy has a long history, Arkanite founded the Academy in 1990, he created it because he saw that nobody was accepting the unique, nobody was accepting the 'special ones' At first, everything went well, until something stirred inside the old abandoned building just outside of campus. Arkanite found the building to be haunted, monsters, demons and many other supernatural creatures lived there, though Arkanite destroyed them all, and sealed the building in the year of 2007. The sealed building stands today outside of the camp, though all the evil is destroyed. We assure you, it is very safe. Now, the war is raging on, and the academy is as popular as ever. We will train you for this war, no matter what your intentions are, it's our job to teach you how to use your powers.

Academy Rules

1 Never, under no circumstances, must you go near the abandoned building! If you are caught outside campus and near the building, you shall be sent off the island immediately without warning! There may be a war, but, the Academy rules still stands!

2 You must be at class on time, if not you will get a warning, three warnings until you are punished, though you shall not be taken off the island. If it carries on, then you will be excluded.

3 Do not use your powers outside of the training room, and do not fight other students unless a staff member is supervising.

4 No vandalism!

5 Arkanite is the master, what he says goes at all times!

Game Rules

1 You can go to the Abandoned Building, as I know some of my characters will be heading there at some point.

2 No character limit.

3 No arguing, fighting or anything else in the OOC, feel free in IC, your characters can be as mean as you want.

4 At least a paragraph, please.

5 Three powers maximum, the more you have, the harder it is to control them. Teachers has four powers.

6 If you are inactive for 3 days I will post for your characters to keep you up to date and continue the story. If you are inactive for 5 days we will take full control over your characters and unless you can give a good reason for being inactive for that long you shall not regain control.

7 If you are a teacher you can be as old as you want depending on your race, but if you are a student then you must be 19 maximum, you can be as young as you want.

8 Pictures are a must!

9 Ability is something you have learned to do, that is too weak to be a power, for example, talking to animals would be a an ability, but, controlling animals would be a power.

10 I can and most probably will edit the rules, make sure you check them when I update.

Personality: Gin is a slightly confusing fellow, though generally a very straightforward individual. At times it seems like there is definantely more than one person in that head of his. He has a huge heart and likes company, be it someone who just stands there awkwardly in silence or someone who is talking his ears off. Either way, he is alright with it as long as there is another body present. He is very open about most things and rarely ever holds a grudge, even with serious matters. He also is quite loyal, even protective of those he deems worthy.

Bio: Gin was found by a young couple that lived far out in the countryside somewhere, on a small farm. They happily accepted the child as their own and raised him right along side their two other children. Everything seemed quite normal with Gin up until he was six, when things started to get out of hand. He accidentally bit the oldest child who quickly fell ill from some strange, unknown toxin. Though Gin was not blamed. A couple of months later while running about the corn field with the middle child, Gin suddenly sneezed and set aflame some of the corn and managed to scorch his older brothers face with the flames.

This time Gin -was- blamed. They did not want to believe they had brought a monster into their home, there was so much yelling and panic... Gin's true form broke free from its human guise. Even at such a young age, Gin was monstrous looking, despite how small he still was. It only caused more panic and more fear, resulting in Gin being chased off of the farm with threat of death. And he continued to run until he eventually collapsed, somewhere near an old church. Luckily by then he had managed to retain his human shape and was taken in by a kind old nun. For fear of having a repeat of what happened back with his previous home, Gin cracked down upon himself quite hard to learn to control himself.

It took a bit for him to come to understand himself, but by the time he did the nun that had so kindly taken care of him for years had already passed on, leaving Gin with what little money she had and note pointing him in the direction of the academy.

Power 1: Teleportation. Can move himself a short distance, regardless of what is in his way. Is able to move farther in human form.
Power 2: Wind manipulation. A rather undeveloped power, can be used to allow flight or slowfalling.
Power 3:

Ability 1: Able to change freely between his actual form and his human guise, though it appears somewhat exhausting and utterly painful, so it is rare for him to ever change into his actual form.
Ability 2: Fire breath. In true form only two of his heads are able to spit fire. As the third releases a poison miasma.
Ability 3: Poison. In either form he is able to cause poison to drip from his nails or teeth, though in his true form it turns into more of a fast working acid.

Personality: She is a smart and logical but she is also pretty pessimistic and she is brutally efficient on the battlefield. Her mind has been warped by the dark grimoire and the spells it contains and as a result she is the living embodiment of the seven deadly sins. She is manipulative saucing people when she need to use them for her own means and is hungry for power and even though she can be lazy at times and her minds has been warped she still cares for her brother and her people and will do anything to keep them safe.

History: Keira has had a rough childhood raised to be a tough fighter to take care of her brother. She was always jealous of how easy her brother had things, he was pampered while she was punished and beaten just for being sad and upset. She was taught that weakness was unacceptable and that she had to be strong so she had to let go of all emotions because of her harsh upbringing. She became a bit of a pessimist all this combined with the dark grimoire she was given at a young age which warped her mind has made her a ruthless and brutal fighter and everyone in the kingdom knows not to get on the wrong side of her and even her brother is afraid of her when her parents died. She did not shed a tear or show any singes of weakness she simply put their body's on a bout and set it on fire and took over leading the army and tuned her attention to the kingdoms enemies who attempted to take advantage of the king and queens death to take control of their kingdom so Keira was made the military adviser to her younger brother and since she took over the military they have never lost a battle and their enemies have come to fear them and run at the site of the Keira it is on the battle field she earned the nickname The Wicked Witch by casting a spell that transformed all of her men into vicious blood thirsty beast and used the blood of her fallen men and enemies to cast powerful spells and she even use necromancy to bring the dead enemies men back to life to kill their own people since then their kingdom has known peace because no one dares attack them anymore. after bringing peace to her kingdom she left with her brother to the Final Academy hoping it would make him stronger and a better ruler for their people

History: Silva was the child of the last tribal shaman and was given Storm Hawk for protection he had a very strong connection to the spirit world even as a child he was always spending more time with spirits and Storm hawk then humans that is until he meat Koto they became good friends and when they grow up Koto became the tribal chief and Silva became the tribal shaman and adviser to the chief Silva still spends time with spirits but now he mainly dose it to ask for guidance to help the chief and the tribe after Koto died Silva help take care of Korto and became her adviser a close friend he helps her lead her tribe and is now the commander of the tribal worriers Silva has the power control the spirits of the dead and the living although it is forbidden by tribal law for him to use these powers on living creatures and if he ever did he would be banished from the tribe or executed not that he would even if he was allowed Korto decided to join the Final Academy soon after becoming the chief in order to become a more effective leader and warrior

Species: Vampire

Appearance: "Gimme a break."

Personality: "Kikuchiyo," meaning "Thousand-Generation Chrysanthemum" is the only name under which this surly individual introduces himself. His demeanor, which under most circumstances is stoic and unshakable, is merely a facade. His stony face is a thin veneer under which a seething bloodlust boils. Kikuchiyo is only able to allow his true nature to escape when in the heat of battle, where he can allow his primal nature to run free.

Bio: The person today known as "Kikuchiyo" was born in Tokyo, the bastard son of a Yakuza and Club Hostess. His youth was spent as a delinquent and biker in the rougher parts of the otherwise glamorous city. His entire live he has possessed a warrior's spirit, which he could only express through street brawls and motorcycle battles. In the midst of one of these battles, he was impaled with a sharpened pipe, a mortal wound. As he lay dying in the streets, a passing vampire, attracted by the scent of blood, discovered him. She had been vacationing in Japan, and had been searching the streets for a meal, and found it in this young man. However, rather than be the prey of some supernatural creature, with the last of his strength, he punched the vampire square in the face. Impressed by his willpower (though completely unharmed), the vampire decided to turn Kikuchiyo rather than eat him, thereby saving his life.

He came to learn from his sire that she was actually a member of vampire nobility; no less than a distant relative of the royal family. This, in turn, made him nobility, despite his circumstances. Given both his youth and rough demeanor, his sire decided that he would be wasted on court politics, and instead enrolled him at the Final Academy, both as a plant for the nobility and to train his warrior skills. He was given a slave to serve as his retainer in this time; a young-appearing vampire who had been depowered and forced into servitude for her crimes against the royal family.

Power 1: Kikuchiyo is blessed with the vampiric power of flesh-sculpting. It is, in essence, a form of shapeshifting, but it is far more visceral in nature. He can reshape and manipulate his own flesh, bones and blood to variety of ends. Bones can be shaped into armor and weapons, blood can be turned to a viscous acid, and so on. If he consumes the blood of a person, animal, or any other manner of creature, he can perfectly replicate their form and physical abilities, though not any supernatural powers they may have. His flesh-sculpting can also be used on other people, essentially as a form of biomancy, and is an extremely painful process for the victim.

Power 2: Kikuchiyo's regenerative ability is no less than prodigious. Wounds heal nigh-instantaneously, and there is seemingly little that he cannot recover from. A severed limb can restore itself before it hits the ground. Even sunlight is not a death sentence as it is for most vampires, though Kikuchiyo will merely lock himself into a painful cycle of burning and regenerating until either the sun goes down or his power ceased to function. A stake in Kikuchiyo's heart will stunt his regeneration greatly and paralyze him until it is removed.

Power 3: As a vampire of the mystic East, Kikuchiyo can not only consume blood, but also chi. This allows him to either drain the supernatural power from a person, or by consuming all of their chi, devour their soul entirely. This is his most useful talent when combating supernatural monsters, spell-casters, or the incorporeal. An individual that is "possessed" by some manner of being can be cured of it by having the possessor's chi consumed instead of their own, in essence "eating" the being out of the victim. Kikuchiyo can absorb the skills and memories of those he consumes the chi of, and should he completely devour their soul, all of their power is added directly to his own.

Markings: Has the bite scar from when he was turned on the base of his neck.

Family: His mother, a club hostess, still lives in Tokyo. His vampiric "mother" generally spends her time in Italy with the other members of their bloodline.

Friends: None, aside from the few remaining members of his biker gang in Toyko.

Sentimental Attachment: His cap and coat; he never takes either of them off, and tends to get pissed when they're touched.

Ability: Like any vampire, Kikuchiyo's strength, speed, durability, and senses are all superhuman, and he can enhance his abilities further by consuming blood.

Special Item: A gift from his sire, Kikuchiyo carries Kokorowatari, a cursed odachi, which is specialized to kill demons.

Pet Power 2: Blood empowerment; by consuming Kikuchiyo's blood, she can temporarily restore her lost vampire power, which bordered on the legendary when in her prime. However, with the more she consumes, the less under Kikuchiyo's control she becomes. She also advances in physical age as her power increases, with he fully-restored form appearing to be about twenty-seven.

Pet Power 3: Blood Sorcery: Cheri-chan was a sorceress in her heyday, and has access to numerous dark rituals and powers. Her most often-used magic allows her to reside in a pocket dimension within Kikuchiyo's shadow until she is summoned by him.

Markings: Her bite scar is directly over her heart, though she has a second one on her throat from her depowering.

Family: All dead.

Friends: None left.

Sentimental Attachment: Wears an aviator cap and turns violent on anyone that tries to take it off.

Other: Kikuchiyo has dominance over her through a psychic bond formed during her depowering ritual, which places him as the master in the archetypal vampiric synergy of master and servant.

Personality: Alcina has a lot of bright ideas and thoughts but she always keeps to herself. She's extremely intelligent. Her worst flaw is her shyness and her reluctance to talk to others. Another flaw would be that sometimes she's too serious and needs to learn how to lighten up. She's very sweet and caring to those she is familiar with. She puts others before herself and is very compassionate towards them. Aly is very patient, understanding, and had been the go-to person people went to for advice in her old town. There is a temper deep down but it's hard to reach it.
Bio: Alcina never knew her real parents. She was adopted by a seemingly ordinary family. She was treated well at first but then her adoptive mother, who thought she could not have a baby, managed to get pregnant. They had been fond of Aly but her abilities frightened them. The couple had been reluctant to interact with her.Once they had their baby, Aly was ignored. Her little sister got all the attention. Aly stuck to her books and let it go. She didn't let jealousy consume her but she hated being so lonely. She was too shy to talk to many people in school and only had a select couple of friends and at home she felt as if she was part of the furniture. Now that Aly is accepted into Final Academy, she's hoping things will change and she can get over this shyness.

Power 1: She can shape shift into being: animal or human.
Power 2: Empathy: she can manipulate the emotions of those around her and sense their emotions as well.
Power 3: No third.

Ability: When she shape shifts into a person, she can see their memories. Her speed is also a bit enhanced.
Special Item: Her bow and arrows. She has a knack for archery.
