Watching Kalinda for a moment her attention was diverted by McCoy's comment. "If only." She noticed a few others glancing at her and wondered if they'd actually come out and say something. Remembering what Anthony had said about never responding to her telepathy she directed her comment to him. "Hey Anthony, I'm speaking. Happy now?"

Griffin growled at Ben's comment but didn't take his eyes off Kalinda and the wall. He figured he would go next. The tennis balls wouldn't bother him.

Anthony nods graciously as he replies, "Ah, I thought you were familiar. I'm happy for you, but," he looks at her with interest as he continues, "what caused this metamorphosis?"

Ben hears Griffin's growl and walks over to him with a friendly smile and asks, "You ok, man? I'm sure the nurse has some cough drops if you need them."

Kalinda scaled the wall, going as fast as she could, without falling. She reached the top, and then leaped down, slowing her fall with her telekinesis, oushing up from the ground. "I need to go" she said, fleeing the gym wihtout waiting for an a swer, or order to stay.

"I did not cough. I do not need a nurse or her drops." Griffin replies without looking at Ben. He is glad Kalinda made it without falling. "I must go tack the wall now." Griffin kicks off his shoes and approaches the wall.

Shaking her head slightly she didn't feel like delving too much into details. Partly because the science behind it was still beyond her. The transformation did not impart her with that information. Still she did reply. "Biological warfare. A parting 'gift' left over from my father." She didn't seem too pleased with that last part.

Ben frowns and says, mostly to himself, "Not much of a talker, hmm?" He asks McCoy, "Hey Doc, there's literally nothing that they can do to knock me off a wall unless they break the wall itself. Can I skip this? I mean come on, I've sleepclimbed bigger stuff than this." McCoy nods, letting Ben off the hook, who then walks into the hall, searching for Kalinda.

Anthony nods slowly, then asks, "Do you have any...samples of this biological warfare? I'd thoroughly enjoy analyzing extraterrestrial technology."

Kalinda had already exited the gym. Her shaking was getting worse, and sobs started to rise. She fell to the ground, couldn't find the strength to get up, and crawled over to a tree. She was tired of frying to fight the emotionz, tired of trying to get control. She was tired of living in fear that she would lose what little control she had. The gym had merely set her off on this downward spiral, but it had probably been coming for a year.

She just wanted it to go away.

Shaking her head. "The unit that did this destroyed itself specifically to prevent anyone getting their hands on it. It should have never even existed to begin with."

Griffin easily finds notches for his fingers and toes. He takes to the wall like a natural. Although he has never actually climbed before it comes naturally. Which when Griffin thinks about it makes since since he is part Yeti.

Anthony sighs, "That's unfortunate. Tell me, how exactly do you feel different? Besides having a different physical stature, were there any other effects?"

John throws the tennis balls as hard as possible at Griffin's head, trying to knock him off.

After entering the hallway, Ben hears the faint sound of far off sobs. He follows it all the way out of the building, then locates the source. Sitting next to a tree was Kalinda, crying uncontrollably. Without hesitation, Ben kneels in front of her and asks, "Hey, what's going on? Was someone miserable or something, in there?"

Griffin ignores the tennis balls. While the sting when they hit, he has experienced much worse. He joined the challenge the wall provided.

Kalinda shook her head. She knew she was keeping her emotions to herself, and not broadcasting fhem at the moment, and this was some comfort. It meant she hadn't totally lost control. "No. Its my own" she said after z long few moments, managing to calm down somewhat to speak.

Purposfully Estella answered the question with as little detail as possible, pretty much ignoring the first half of the question. "Yes."

Ben nods and sits next to Kalinda before saying, "In my experience, a hug helps in many situations." He leaves the offer of a comforting embrace up to Kalinda, after all, he barely knew her, she may not react well to a random hug.

Anthony smiles coldly, "Don't bring us back to square one, Esuterura. We finally have a noninvasive way to communicate, so let's use it. What changes took place?"

The fact that someone would offer a hug was comforting to kalinda. So she took up the offer.she shifted, and wrapped her arms around ben

As Ben hugs Kalinda with one arm, he asks her, "So what's got ya down? I may not be the greatest at picking up the subtleties of female emotions, but you seemed fine earlier, or at least normal."

"I'm...tired of this" kalimda said softly, choosing her words carsful, "tired of living in fear that I will break down, that I will causs someone to be killed because of raging anger, or lead someone to do something drastic, tired of having to think about control, tired of having this cursed ability. I'm not strong enough. I can't even stand feeling the small bouts of pain from someone being hit with a tennis ball, let alone other, stronger emotions"

Griffin reached the top of the wall easily. He was please to see that his time was reasonable for a first attempt. He didn't bother to climb do, he simply jumped. He used his flight ability to slowly his descent to the ground.

Ben answers quietly, "Hey, you're extremely strong. You're in a school for both teenagers and young adults. There's no other place where you could be barraged with more hormone-fueled emotions than here, yet you've kept it together." Ben is silent for a moment then says, "It's obvious that you need a release. Are you able to siphon off some of the pent up emotions into someone else?"
