"Yes in fact i did. what do you have ESP?" Black said grabbing the paper. "Thanks."

"No, I don't. I just consider that Computers haven't been that big in years" Connor said with a chuckle, "So, either frozen, time-traveler or just really old. You don't look that old, time-traveling is sketchy at best I would imagine even if it did exist, so Frozen seemed like the logical choice"

"I like you. you think logically. is this room near yours? i wish to speak to you more often." Black said, showing Connor the piece of paper.

Connor blinked. "Uh, sure, but you aren't trapped in your dorm room between classes you know. The grounds are free to wander around in, and the town is quite close"

"Hmm. alright then. i will meet you tomorrow then." he walks out and finds his room, falling face first on his bed.

Flood walked up to Connor after Black left. "I like him. He interests me." He started as he began hacking into the computer to take a look at various students schedules. He failed miserably and shut down the power in half the school. "I hate technology." He finished as the lights went out in the room.

(That's how bad he is. He crashes half of the schools system near instantaneously.)

Kalinda frowned, thinking. "I've more manipulated emotions than taken them. With Griffin and Zack...it hasn't been like that, but with Nacelle then, I just focused on the pain and nothing else. Touch makes how I do it stronger, easier but I've never taken in personality traits. Only...maybe when I first developed my abilities" she frowned again

Devika clenched her jaw in an effort not to emote. She was alone in this. She honestly didn't know what to do, who she could possibly turn to. "Thank you for... listening anyway." Her voice was shaky, and obviously near tears. She started up the stairs, walking as if her body wasn't sure how to perform the task.

Kalinda stood there for a moment, before following her up, "I can still understand, if you want to talk" She said, catching up. "I can help you figure this out"

[Mistress Dizzy]

Devika looked back at Kalinda, trying to hold her barriers in some kind of formation. "That would be helpful. But I need to sit down..." She trudged the rest of the way up the stairs, and made it to her own dorm room before nearly collapsing into a beanbag chair that was filled with very soft fluff. She sat there, her body curled into a weak ball, before she started to speak.

"I had an encounter with... what is that girl's name... Blonde, crazy eyed. She touched me. She walked up and grabbed my face, and... I absorbed her emotions, and.. and more."

Kalinda followed her,, sitting down on the ground, stretching out, listening as Devika talked. "Gretchen, her name is. Creepy and insane, I think" She said, thinking.

"Emotions, sure. What else?" Kalinda asked curiously, wanting to try and figure it out

[Mistress Dizzy]

Devika curled a bit more. "I absorbed some of... her. I felt confident, like I was the best person, maybe the only person that mattered in the world. I felt powerful, like no one could stop me. I was... I was everything, and then..." She made a tiny hiccupping noise. "And then it was ripped away from me." Her gaze peeked out, looking somehow haunted. "It was like I spent years in the dark, and then someone turned on a flashlight. It was beautiful, and painful, and now that it's gone, I miss it."

Kalinda frowned, shook her head at her, "Devika, I think the only reason that could happen, is that it sparked something in you that you already have"she said, "I don't think its possible to absorb personality traits through emotions, but then, what do I know? But I still stand by what I said-it has to be there to begin with" She said

Devika didn't know how to take that comment at all. She just stared blankly at the other empath for a long moment. "Within... me? N-no, that's not true. I could never be that way. For so many reasons. I'm not a sociopath, either, so..." She sighed deeply, her whole body seeming to shrink somehow.

Kalinda bit her lip, "You don't have to be a sociopath to be confident" Kalinda said, "You just have to not give a damn what people think about what you say or do" She said, with a shrug. "Everyone has it in them to be confident, without being a sociopath" She said, "Your biggest problem is yourself"

Devika shook her head vigorously, making her dark curls fly in all directions. "You don't understand. I... I punched her in the face. I hit her, and I felt justified in doing so." Her hands were shaking. "I've never done anything so rude before."

Kalinda fell silent, thinking. "Well, I'm pretty sure you don't want to hit anyone, so that's all her. Whether or not that's because of her emotions is another matter" She said, thinking. "In anycase, it has a basis in the fact that it would have been her emotions that caused it, unless this has happened with every time you've touched someone"

Devika shook her head. "No, I've never been violent with anyone that way. She was touching me and I didn't like it. Maybe that's why I did it." A slightly smug, satisfied smile crept onto her face. "She shouldn't have done that. It was really invasive."

Austin frowned, trying to think. He then said," I honestly have no clue. I don't know of many things to do outside of the campus. I mean the first time I left was when we went to that bad. And I do not want to do that again." He shook his head at the memory, not fond of it. He then said with a grin," of chourse, you could start teaching me Japanese."
