I actually have a new idea for a character if ever I return...

Two ideas, actually. One for a villain, one for a hero. I might go with the former, and I know exactly how to do it.

She doesn't punch or pinch him nearly as much as the original, so that's already one improvement.

Lex actually did something similar. He built an android that looked exactly like Lois Lane and built a bunch of hidden weapons into her. She acted as an assistant, advisor, and it was also heavily implied that she was his lover. Geniuses tend to be #ForeverAlone
