Origins: A realm known to humans as The Rift, it is a place of eternal night yet it is filled with beauty. The vast oceans glitter like diamonds in the moonlight and are is in a state of permenant serenity. There are never storms at sea and the only waves are gentle as they wash upon the moonbathed beaches. The plainslands exhibit a grayish green appearance as the grass waves ever so softly on the cool breeze which causes the dew upon each blade to shine. The forests are immense and it's black trees are dressed in leaves of vibrant purple that glow when the moon is obscured by clouds. The numerous cities of the Revenati houses are unique to each house. House Veakthan inhabits a city of pure white stone with amethyst decor. It's architecture is sharp and angular yet smooth and graceful, reflecting the personality of House Veakthan. Such is the way for every other house. Which brings us to the next section.
Revenati Civilization: The Revenati have a civilization quite similar to the Medieval Era of Europe. There are multiple houses, each in control of territory and it's capital city, and all vie for control of the realm. However not all Revenati are of a noble house, many are simply those who are loyal to the House and live to serve the betterment of the house they are sworn to.
Revenati Society: Revenati grow up, marry, have children, work jobs, and die much like humans. The only difference is the way they do it. When a Revenati is born they live with their parents till around the time when they are young children(comparable to 8 year olds). At that time they are taken from their parents to be trained in whatever craft(or caste)they are determined to be most useful in. The Revenati is able to visit their family but live in the training grounds till they are adolescents, after which they are allowed to live out their lives but with the craft they learned as their profession. They do not deviate not because they have no choice but because it was what they were born to be.
While it is not illegal for a Revenati to marry outside of their caste most stay within the caste due to familiarity. The only exception are those born in the noble houses. Noble Revenati, no matter what craft they are assigned, are only allowed to marry nobility. This is mostly political as it is used to cement alliances.
Revenati Religion: Lotha'na, the Goddess of Creation. Vinkarth, the God of Death. Sartaran, the Goddess of The Dark Arts. These are the greater of the pantheon of God's that are worshipped by the Revenati. But unlike human religions where gods are unseen and often unheard from except in scripture, the Revenati gods frequently communicate and on occasion take corporeal form with their creation.
Lotha'na, the goddess of creation is worshipped for creating the Revenati. Their beliefs say she created them as beautiful, immortal beings that lived as one united people. Lotha'na is seen as a mother goddess whose love for her children is unending. She gave her children the gift of sentience and wisdom which they used to create beautiful works of art and structures. The Revenati did not die of old age, disease, or exposure, only through mortal injuries which since they did not fight they did not die of such.
Vinkarth is the god of death and war whose influence on the Revenati came only after The Usurpation. An event which the Revenati mark as the single most horrific and tragic event in their history. After uncountable years of growing prosperity and advancement the Revenati grew arrogant. They compared themselves to the gods and sought to make themselves as such. Oberan, god of order sought to prevent this and so created an army of beings known and the Overseers of Order to put an end to the blasphemous ambition of the Revenati. However this would not be an easy task, for at the time the Revenati became so advanced that when war came they actually were able to successfully combat the Overseers. A bloody war broke out and it was only when Lotha'na, mother of the Revenati, was struck with an enchanted spear known as Haranthir that the war saw an end. The mother goddess was mortally injured and her husband, Vinkarth was thrown into a rage. He cursed the Revenati with mortality, transformed their appearance to their current state, destroyed all they created, took the knowledge of their creations and technology and left them to the now eternally dark realm. Lothra'na is forever weakened by her injury and has since never been seen amongst her people, the Revenati pray not only for her recovery someday but for the all father Vinkarth to forgive them for their mistake. Neither he has interacted with his children and the Revenati have not heard from their divine parents since.
It was in the years after The Usurpation that the goddess Sartaran first made contact with the Revenati. She saw how low the people had fallen and hoped to uplift them once more. However she knew to do such a thing would not only repeat history but unleash the full wrath of her father Vinkarth as well. So she formulated a plan, she would not give them back their immense wisdom but instead grant them the ability to wield the dark arts. She taught them the art of necromancy, umbramancy, and Sanguimancy. Unfortunately this created a side effect which was those who were keen in certain forms of each school of the dark arts formed groups which later became houses. This created the Houses of the Revenati and so began years of constant infighting. Sartaran is seen as The Redeemer, The Creator of Nations, and The Bestower of Magic.
Revenati Physiology: Female Revenati have two forms: their human form, which is said to have been given to them by Tirtranam, the God of Secrets, whose reasons for doing so are unknown. To the Revenati it is unknown that this form is one of a human as they have never seen humans, as a result this form-and by extension humans- are known as Aetas. All Revenati females while in this form are pale, black eyed, and have strange and unique black markings on their bodies which change during their stages of life. In their Maiden(young adult)stage their marks are angular and sharp. The Matron stage(middle aged) receives markings that follow the pattern of a select group of blood vessels. The Matriarch stage(elderly)receives curved marks that flow and contour.
In their true form they still resemble humans, their faces are pale and eyes various shades of red and orange which glow like fires. Their robes conceal four spider-like legs and a in place of the bat wings they once possessed are two bony appendages that are pointed at the end. Revenati females give birth to one child per decade and so protect their young fiercely till they come of age to go to the training grounds.
Female Revenati have a lifespan that is segmented. The Maiden stage where they grow until they reach the appearance and health of a twenty year old for forty years. The Matron stage has a female look and feel in their forties for around sixty years, during the late Matron stage they are no longer able to reproduce. The Matriarch stage is the end of a female's life, she lives for one hundred years with the appearance of a woman in her eighties right up till the moment of death where her skin forms a hard, marble like surface, turning her body into a statue with the appearance of her when she was in her Maiden stage.
Unlike Revenati females, males only have one form. It is a tall, humanoid figure, usually with skin tones in shades of grey, black, white, and silver. Their fingers are long and bony and their skulls vary but always take on a shape one would compare to a demon's. Their eye color ranges from shades of red, blue, green, purple, white, black, yellow, and orange. However this does not provide any genetic advantages. Their figures do not change much, most males are either average built or slender. Males do not have natural markings like females but from adolescence forward receive a complex tattoo wherever they wish that tells their house of allegiance, family name, their craft, birth, and accomplishments through series of complicated symbols. These tattoos are improved and have symbols added for accomplishments and ranks in military if they are of that caste. Males do not go through aging stages like females but have the same lifespans. When a male dies they do not form statues but simply hyper decompose till they are but skeletons. All Revenati skilled in magic are unable to use their magic in the human world, they still have abilities learned or part of their physiology such as the females ability to impale with her back mandibles or a males strength.
Appearance:
Bio: Kaszear is born of noble birth. Second son of Krakour and Meisari, Lord and Lady of House Vaerthran. Kaszear had no ambition for rule of the House not only because it was birthright to his brother Cairtal but because to rule did not interest him. He was gifted in the art of stealth and combat and so was trained to be an assassin for his house.
For years he served his house, eliminating threats to his family. He earned himself a reputation as "The Assassin Prince" which made him notorious outside his family's territory and won the affection of his people. However the political scheming of the noble houses would prove that blood meant nothing if it got in the way of power. His own brother, Cairtal, grew jealous once his brother's endeavors won him not only the favor of his countrymen but the affection of Iremea, a noblewoman from House Ishtal. The houses intended to forge an alliance through marriage and by custom the bride to be would choose her suitor, and she chose Kaszear.
Cairtal would have his vengeance for this...

Name:Iremea(Ih-ray-meeyah)
Age:???
Species: Revenati
Appearance:
Human Form-
True Form- (Iremea raising a race in the Revenati realm called Reavers. Like goblins or ghouls)
Bio: Iremea was born the firstborn of House Ishtal and was trained in necromancy from an early age by the best necromancers in the capital city. However she did not use this power for war or selfish gain as many others had done. Instead she used her gifts to resurrect the dead loved ones of those who could not afford or do such a thing themselves. For a time people would be able to speak with their dead loved ones and say their goodbyes properly. Iremea's compassion and charity towards her people won her their hearts and she was named "The Nightshade Princess".
The rest of House Ishtal noticed her popularity and planned to capitalize on it. They established an alliance with the Vaerthrans that would be cemented with a marriage. Iremea was against the idea entirely, thinking Vaerthrans obsessed with taking lives than preserving them. Still her family forced her to choose and after getting to know them she chose Kaszear. The wedding became known as "The Union of The Assassin and The Flower" and the couple quickly fell deeply in love with each other shortly after.
If only she knew what would come next...
Alright these are my last two questions:
1. Am I accepted?
2. Is there a standard introduction I should have or just have the couple walk out the pyramid or something?

Sure join the craziness. Good luck makes sense our of any of it.
Nope that kind of went out the window.
Haha thanks, I didn't mean for it to get so lengthy it kind of just kept going and when I was done I looked at it and said, "Theres no way anyone is going to read all of this"
Hm. Some of them have devices that translate what they hear into their native tongue. However if Kaszear and Iremea do not have one communication would be difficult the other way. That said EVE could probably serve as a go between.
