Bushido skills are governed by AGI, which Cynthia has 9 in (She has 0 Foc). Add that to her level 5 Katana, and put it against your level 2 knife with an enchantment that your character takes a penalty to (Lacking the correct magic skill as you said in the IC post). By the way, I'd like it if you could specify what kinds of magic she knows.

I was under the impression magic was anything that used three repeating phrases, as per the OP, but like I said, I don't really care that much.

Any ability is activated like that, because there's nothing like skill bars and such. Magic is unique in that it's the only kind of skill that can be used with the Interprate System, whereas Cynthia has to learn her Bushido skills. Didn't mean to confuse you on that.

Computer requires a password that my mom isn't always willing to give. So when I discovered that I could post from my DS yesterday, I decided 'why not'. Still prefer the computer, as it's easier to check for mistakes before you post.

But why get a 2DS?
It's basically a more expensive DSi and 3DS you can't fold.

uh, actually it's a LESS expensive 3DS that has twice the battery life.

It looks like they're the same price, except the 2DS can't fold, can't do 3D, and has worse sound quality. The battery life being arguable at best.

I am a huge Nintendo fan and everything but let's not joke here, the 2DS is functionally just a downgrade being sold to see if they can get away with it.

And I wanted one to play pokemon

It was less expensive at the time, and I didn't really care about, or want the 3D option. All in all, Ii'm fine with it, as it does everything I need it to do. The not folding thing did bug me at first, but it still fits in my pocket, so I got over it rather quickly.

EDIT: It's not $100 cheaper to be fair, the cheapest 2DS is only like $30 less than the cheapest 3DS-- and the prices are only going to decrease with time.
