[IC] Adventurer's Adacamy

The sun rose over an new and unusual academy. This school specialized in teaching teens that had dreams of becoming great adventurers one day. All who wanted to seek adventure were welcome whether they were warrior, magic user, or rogue. The school sat within a dark forest. Today was the official opening of the school. The teens would be arriving for to begin their journeys to greatness.

The sun rose as Gheto scampered through the darkness and In to the clearing where this school sat his adopted parents had taught him the basic of fighting but sent him here to further his knowledge and too relive them the burden of ridicule for raising a kobold.

Thunder rumbled in the clear skys for a moment, a bolt of lightning following, scorching the ground. leaving in its wake a young man, stretching and yawning, his hair was a total mess, as if he'd just gotten up. Alexander grinned and bounded forward, jumping along, energy lighting his steps as if he was propelled by some supernatural force. Lazily humming Metalica's "Ride The lightning."

Three teachers stood at the top of the academy. Each different from the other. This year they would work together to help the teenagers that come to the school learn how to became the adventures they dreamed of being. It was a strange idea. People have been adventuring without guidance for centuries. Someone decided that too many people trying to become adventurers. Or maybe they simply decided to take advantage of those dreamers either way the academy had been built to take those who dreamed of adventuring and build them into men and women who could survive anything.

Andrea peered from the window of the carriage, dreading the sight of her new home.

"You'll make friends, don't worry."

"Doubt it," Andrea scuffs at the memory of her father's words.

The carriage stops and the coach opens the door for her.

"Thank you, sweets," she says methodically as she dips her fingers into his pockets and pulls out a few coins. He doesn't notice.

Alexander touched off on one side of the coach, a pulse of crackling static launching him up and over. "Heads up!" he called, and landed beside Andrea. "Morning," He said and slowed his pace a little, not enough to be considered walking speed, but slow enough to be kept up with without any effort. "whats with the fancy carrage and stuff?"

"Father dearest likes...appearances," she told her fellow student.

She looked her peer up a down, surveying any pockets that could have loot. "What're you in for?" She asked.

"Apperances? Pshht, he sounds like a right old fuddy duddy." Alexander said and grinned. "You'll find out in class, I'd like to keep it quiet till I can really shock people. And yourself?" He asked still smiling, bouncing along. The only two pockets he had were on the inside of his light battle plate, the objects on the outside were his backpack and the massive tome strapped to one hip and the large blade on the other.

"Please gather round adventures." A deep voice called over the crowd. "My name is Griffin and I will be teaching all the fighting classes. My companions are Katherin who will be teaching all the magic related classes. And Roxy who will be teaching all the Rogue classes."

June rushed to the gate, not wanting to be late again. but as always he was. He heard the last part of the announcment and knew where to go so he relaxed a little and calmed down. he made his way through the crowd of people, almost like a ghost, he didnt want to bring attention to himself. He still remembers the last thing his father told him this morning.
"Make sure you pass or i will kill you myself..."
Shuddering at the thought he looked at the awe inspiring grounds and smiled, he was ready.

lurking among the trees foliage on a high branch peering down at the crown of students Dao silently observes the teacher speaking to the new students. Mutering to him self "i hope this one will provide more..."

Andrea smirked widely at her peer. She liked this guy. He wasn't as boring as she expected most people to be.

"Even a mother couldn't love a little thief like me," Andrea responded to his question.

One of the teachers called out and summoned the arriving students to the steps.

Andrea held her arm out, expecting him to loop his arm through hers and guide her towards the steps.

"My name's Andrea," she told him. "Who might you be?"

"We have decided that the best way to set up classes is: gym then individual classes based on your interests, then lunch. Once lunch is completed we will have skill development and than another class based on your goal." Griffin explained. You have an hour to find your dorm and report to your first class. Class choices will be displayed on the computer by the office."

Violet was close enough to hear the teacher speaking, but not close enough for the rest of the students to see her. She hung out toward the edge of the crowd, silently watching everyone. The teachers seemed alright, but she didn't know about a few of the students. The knife sheaths on her arms twisted as she adjusted them and she reached down to double check to make sure her extra knife was still in her boot. She smiled calmly as she figured out that she did. She then leaned back against the wall again and silently waited and watched.

The three teachers headed inside. They had classes to prepare for. Each student had three choices depending on what category they were in.

Violet waits until the teachers leaving before silently slipping through the students, heading inside. She looks around and spots the front office. She walks over and sits down at the computer, looking at the class choices. She knows instantly what she wants to do. She decides on the knife skills, archery, and unarmed fighting. Those looked very interesting. She quickly signs up for them.

Nathanial grinned and took her arm. "Can you ride the lightning?" He asked and without waiting for an answer triggered his Phase step. the air around them crackled and for Andrea the world went golden-yellow, then pure electric blue before resolving back in to reality. however they were inside and standing before the front desk, static was cascading off Nathanial as he shook himself down. Glancing at Andrea he laughed her hair was all standing on end. "Ok, so you can ride the lightning, I'm impressed!" Turning to the desk he he picked his classes. "Spell casting, Swordfighting...." he paused and sighed. "Just my luck for there not to be any other fun things." he sighed and submitted the form with one lesson empty.

Violet watched the unusual pair with interest. She had seen the girl get out of the carriage and saw them talking earlier. The guy looked electric with energy. She pulled out a knife and begin twirling it through her fingers, looking coolly away from the pair. The teacher had said something about dorms, but she had no idea where the listings were posted for the dorms.

The air distorts and a trembling sound could be heard as a man in dark cloths dawning a skull mask apeard next to Nathanial. As he was standing there as clear as day yet he displayed no obvious presence almost like a ghost in a room. He softly spoke in a somber voice "spell casting,weapons training,and unarmed combat training". Then the trembling distortion could be heard and he was gone, but not a single drop of mana could be felt as he entered and left leaving nothing behind.
