So we think an Autumn-class ship, The Achilles. We'll need Jones' agreement but it makes sense to me. Not overly offensive but defensive and with enough scientific potential to make it plausible :P

I'm just gonna go out on a limb and post my Character form......

Name: Rethea 'Yurume
Age: *Shrugs* Maybe 30 human years........I don't know....
Race: Sangheili
Gender: Female!
Class: Sangheili warrior with close combat skills.
Rank: Used to be an Honor Guard Ultra, but for now does not yet have rank due to her being stripped of it.
Appearance: (See my Avatar)

Bio: Rethea, a rarely seen female Sangheili, lived on the planet of Sangheilios during the Covenant/Human war. She was born under the family of 'Yurume, and was immediately arranged to be wed to a male in another Keep.
But as she grew older, she took to the ways of the warrior despite her father's wishes, and secretly took training from one of her keep's elders. She later refused to marry; much to the disappointment of her family.

When she reached adult hood, Rethea was one of the first females to ever receive the rank of Honor Guard Ultra (A.K.A "Light of Sangheilios) serving as one for many years; commanding the Honor Guards below her and protecting things of great importance.

But at the occurrence of the Great Schism, Rethea chose to follow the Arbiter "Thel 'Vadam" rather than joining her father and the Loyalists, which resulted in his disownment of her. This also brought the end of her career as an Honor Guard Ultra and left her without a role in the military.

Rethea turned to the Arbiter in an effort to be appointed as an Elite Minor, claiming that she could not live outside of battle. He took pity on her, and made an agreement with the Humans of Earth to take her in as a soldier. (A volunteer, as it were.) This was not what Rethea expected, but she eventually saw it as a great chance to finally meet a human and to regain her stature as a warrior. Voi was her destination.

Personality: Strong willed and yet caring. Is very curious about the humans, but hides it behind a serious demeanor. Once you get to know her, she's sweet and will do anything to protect you.
Skills: Has a specialty in close combat.
Family/Loved ones?: Her mother died during her birth. And she had a father, but he disowned her when she chose to follow Thel 'Vadam and the Seperatists; while he remained true to the Covenant and joined 'Jul's Storm Faction.
Other: Her preferred weapon is a red bladed Energy staff. (Also see Avatar for reference)

It looks good to me, only thing I think would be her father still being a Covvie loyalist maybe he is part of Jul's Storm Faction? Aside from that looks good up to bossman to accept. :)

So I read what you guys had so far over on IC.......and I am literally crying for joy.
Back at the other RP site, I had a difficult time roleplaying because the writers with me were just posting one liners with bad grammar and spelling. They weren't putting any time into it whatsoever, while I was sitting there barfing out multiple paragraphs!
There was no story progression, and once we sat in one setting for an entire two MONTHS!

I was getting kind of tired of it as you can imagine.

Then I came here and saw the kind of post you all are adding onto this RP.........I have entered my dream RP site!!!!!

Welcome to the site!! Im glad that Nallore brought you in on this because this should be a really fun RP!

And I was at a few RP sites where one liners were their specialty haha, I don't have a limit on posting, I prefer quality over quantity, so don't feel like you have to get a certain amount of paragraphs to post!

Hey Nallore, we had the same joining year :P But yeah one liners aren't really a problem here in casual. Sometimes in Free but even then it's a higher standard for the most part.

I saw that. :) In the other site I RP'd in they didn't have very high standards. Even when they were required to write more efficiently they still posted badly.......Got boring really fast.....so that's why I came here! So glad I did.

Yeah, also I love how slowly but surely the power of music is drawing people towards me. Sadly my character is staring at a scorpion tank, he wants one. However I can't wait to see where this all goes.
