I used forest instead of jungle because it's been awhile. Yeah, we are in the jungle. And I will rewrite my post. The spiders don't go into towns, they go around it and look for outsiders or travelers. And the area around the crypt will be webbed and two spiderettes will be hanging around. Yes, in the jungle.

OK. Just wanted to make sure we were all clear. @KabenSaal, sorry for picking on grammar, but in your latest post, in every instance where you should have wrote "were", you wrote "where" instead.

Ahh, sorry. That is a bad habit from my youth, where I spelled 'could' as 'chould'. No, I kinda ousted one too many h's from my writing, and 'where' is now quite often 'were'.

Although, then again, you might not have had avatars to begin with and I'm just being inattentive.

Hello everyone! I would like to join the RP with a Keeper, and a Rogue soon. The rogue WILL work for my keeper... after he is created shortly after the first posts ETC.... but he will break free, and work for another keeper. He'll just be a regular Construct until that point though. As for location on where I'd like to start, would be the jungle. I would like to ask permission for a smaller village somewhere along the river within the jungle, possibly not being related to the already existing Dragon-Riders (Heh... those guys remind me of UO.) If that isn't possible, then I can have my dungeon situation anywhere else (I do realize it's underground... but you need a location where you rise to the surface!) excluding the ice and volcano area. Thanks! I'll accept and tips, points, or suggestions. I do already have a few ideas about my keeper, and his first minions. --------------------- Wow, I've really gained everyone's attention. At first I saw Yoshua171, now Kangutso is spying in. I sure hope you two can help me out. :)

Your rogue can't work for your keeper. You could do it that he broke free in the history, but I don't think it is allowed actually in the IC thread.

Okay Kaben, but what I meant is he won't be a rogue at first, he'll be a construct. But he'll eventually part ways, thus doing so become a rogue. Is that allowed?

Rogue Beings are usually Super-Constructs or Demonic Creatures - like Ifrit from the last thread - who broke free because they where so strong, or because their master was killed. A normal construct would just get creamed if it went rogue.

I mean, possibly it starts to become stronger and stronger, then it goes rogue thinking it is strong enough to fend for itself. Then, later, it realizes it isn't as strong as it thought... so it seeks the help of another keeper?

I'm not sure about the ruling, but you need to create a Construct using the algorithm, and you'll need to establish your Heart and start the construction. It'd be a lot easier just to put that in the history rather than try for it IC.

Hmm, alright. But yeah, I was going to use him later on IC after I create him IC, have a few battles or something, then have the Construct break free.

Hello there [@Technonick], thank you for coming here. I get what you're saying. I am perfectly fine with your plan of creating a Construct (by the normal means, of course) which later becomes a Rogue Construct. I think it is quite a good idea, in terms of story and character. Deep inside the jungle, there are no fixed settlements, due to the dangerous wildlife. You will find logging villages along the fringes of the jungles, owned by the Cypriots, which could make a good place to start, for it has access to both the jungle and a village. The river is a prime place to find such settlements too, because of the transportation offered by the river. The logging villages are tougher than your average village, but you can use one.

Competing is fine! That's the point of this RP, isn't it? Besides, with a powerful enemy so close, my rogue construct is sure to join her to help in my own defeat (Such awkward moments coming up!) Thank you for the information BBeast. I will still construct him and use him in the normal ways, and be sure not to abuse him. He'll start to get stronger towards the end, but I'll keep him out of battles at that point, then turn him rogue. I'll go for the logging villages... I'm sure my minions will be able to handle themselves for awhile... hehehe... evilness. But, I'm willing to accept failures and such's like that, as is the very nature of this RP. I'll be posting an 'app' later.
