Spearman - “Loyalty cuts deeper than any sword.” - engraving on a Spearman’s sword.
Refrence image :
The Spearmen are the meat and bones of the Human army. Trained to fight proficiently with a spear and sword and equipped with a large shield, a row of these brave men are akin to a wall which stands between the enemy and their less resilient compatriots.
Musketeer – “Ready! …Aim! …Fire! …Reload ! “ – Standard Musketeer orders.
Refrence image :
The Musketeers are the may long-ranged troops of the Human army. Equipped with lighter armor than their melee compatriots and more than enough ammunition to slay anything that moves as well as a shortsword for close range if necessary.
Medic – “It almost cut all’ a way through, I swear. Would’av lost my good arm if it wasn’ for that comely lass. Got me patched up and was back on the field in no time” – Tale from a Human soldier at a local bar.

The Medics are specialized Humans trained in the art of mending wounds and treating any other ailments that their fighting comrades could encounter on the field. Combining both modern medicine as well as healing magic taught by Priests, the Medics are capable of restoring the Human troops to fighting condition and prevent possible losses.
Tactical War-Mage – “Private, if you can’t aim straight now, what will you do in a real battle? – Stand close to a Tactical War-Mage, sir? “ –Conversation between a Musketeer and drill instructor.

These spellcasters are trained and instructed on using their magical talents to enhance their comrades. Magical wards on the field, enchantments on weapons and armor, barriers and more are some of their talents, to name a few. They can also conjure up ethereal weapons to arm themselves and stand side by side with their fighting comrades.
Wizard – “Sure they can make fire rain from the sky and throw lighting from their hands, but without their magic they’re just old people in fancy robes….. Right?” – Overheard conversation at a military camp.
Refrence image :
Unlike the Tactical War-Mage, the Wizards employ destructive magic which they perfected over the years for maximum efficiency. Wizards are employed into military service only if they so desire which pretty much means that they are probably the most limited units of the Human army, however, even a small number of these masters of magic are enough to turn the tide of combat.
Paladin – “So basically, we swear to protect the weak by mercilessly killing those who disagree, while professing blind faith in the gods and carrying a crucifix around ? – What? No! I think the crucifix is optional.” – Conversation between two future Paladins.
Refrence image :
Combining small firearms, proficient swordsmanship and holy magic, the Paladins represent the very best of the Human army. Knights in strong armor, crafted with modern design to achieve a balance between imposing protection and mobility, Paladins are considered blessed by the gods and charged to bring righteous victory in any battle.
Cavalier – “Jousting is just for show, he says. Its in no way efficient in a real battle, he says. He ended up with a large hole through his chest and now he doesn’t say anything anymore…” – A Cavalier at the aftermath of a battle.
Refrence image :
The cavalry of the Human army is considered one of the most dangerous foes to ever face on the battlefield. Mounted on fiery spirited stallions and armed with steel lances, one would make a fatal mistake to underestimate a Cavalier in full charge. Even if unhorsed, a Cavalier on foot would reach for its back-up sword and continue being an imposing opponent.
Juggernaut – “For the last time, we don’t need your plans for a war-machine. We have our own! “ – Officer dismissing an engineer’s plans.
Refrence image :
Only the very few selected undergo the grueling and back-breaking training program to becoming a full-fledged Juggernaut. The people wearing these massive armors are born and bred for war, akin to a lump of ore undergoing rigorous work to becoming a fine steel weapon. Showing no fear and absolute obedience to their superiors, these silent, hulking machines for war carry around large portable cannons as their main weapon and as such are considered a mark of Human siege.
