[IC] Alpha and Omega

Robin sighed giving in, she knew he was right after all. She would need sleep to get better. Closing her eyes she got a little closer to him before letting herself drift off to sleep afraid that the nightmares would return.

Mark wrapped his arm around her, closing his eyes and letting his wolf put her into a dream of her running after him in wolf form. He smiled to that, once that was done he opened his eyes and looked at robins sleeping form.

Robin's face went from worried and fearful to calm and relaxed by the sweet dream. The dream put her at ease and even made her happy. It made been a long time since Robin had actually had a nice dream. A lot of things kept her from having nice dreams or even dreams at all.

Mark smiled, his arm still wrapped protectively around her, some of the stuff he could do didn't make since to him. Though it felt natural as he did the stuff like all he had to do was think about it. A few more minutes passed, before he fell asleep beside his mate.

Robin slept throughout the day and through the night not waking up once. The next morning when she woke up she realized she was starving though. in over two days she hadn't eaten a thing.

Mark had gone downstairs and gotten some food for them. He need to see if Robin could hold down the food. Cheeseburgers and fries on two plates as he opened the door and kicked it closed. Seeing Robin awake, "so the sleeping beauty finally awakens, here for you this." He set the plate down on the bed while he sat in a chair and popped a fry into his mouth.

Robin sat up and took the plate from him. "Thank you," she looked down at the plate and picked up a fry before eating it. She was getting down the fries well enough but the hamburger was a little bit intimidating. She felt a lot better now that she had slept.

Mark looked at the cheeseburger sitting on her plate, frowning slightly. He cut it in half, "there if you can hold down half of it I'll give you the other half." He set the other half on his plate as he dug into his burger.

Robin nodded and looked down at her hamburger. She picked it up and ate a bite of it swallowing it slowly. Working slowly she ate the rest of it and couldn't help but feel bile rise up in her throat. The wolfsbane was slowly going away but what was left of it in her system combined with her heart and insides still healing wasn't a good combination.

Mark set his plate down on the nightstand before gently taking the plate from her. He knew all to well when the color drained from her face that she could feel the bile setting the plate on his chair his hand on her back as his thumb ran soothing circles on her back trying to get her to forget about it the best he could.

Robin took deep breaths trying to keep herself from throwing up. After a few minutes the feeling went away and she sighed. "This is a living hell, that's the last time I attack someone without smelling what's on them first. God that sounded better in my head."

Mark laughed, "yah you should have Robin you should have figured out what was on him before then all I smelled was the charring of flesh as he held the gun that's how I made my guess he was far but why would a fae need a gun?"

[Smystar99]

"Because it's the only sure way to make sure your target would die in any form. A gun can kill us in wolf form and most definitely in human form. The bullet makes it ten times harder then anything else silver because it can split." Robin guessed. "I'm more concerned as to why someone wants me dead."

[Xion Demente]

Mark frowned, "I don't know I know this much fae won't try and kill someone you pissed off a fae or that fae went rogue and just wanted you out of the way." Thinking more on it, "they attacked when they knew I would be with you I don't think they want you dead they just want me taking whatever omegas life force will give them the edge of an omega if they get there hands on me then were in big trouble." He flexed his hand at the thought.

"So what do we do then? We can't just wait here forever. We have to go out there and find who's doing this." Robin said looking at him carefully. She wasn't going to let anyone get ahold of her mate. It had been far too long of a journey for her to simply do that.

Mark shrugged, "we bring the fight to them when we know who would want an omega in there grasp as I know it I'm the only omega right now." His fist slowly curled into a fist, as he thought of them hurting robin or the pack just to get to him.

"Well we can't just sit here like sitting ducks. That won't do any good." Robin said it being obvious by now that she was a person of action rather than patience. Having people trying to hurt Mark and her new pack wasn't sitting right with her at all. No she'd make people pay for even thinking about it.

Mark looked over to her, "I'll see what I can do my dad said he had a friend among the fae. The phone number is in the journal, I'll give him a ring whenever I can though I'm probably going to have to go back to the mechanic shop only place he knows to meet me there."

"We'll need their help then, I can't believe someone in the fae race is messing with us. They usually try to stay away from the other races." She said and sighed before drinking some water from the glass on the night stand being able to keep water down fine.

Mark shrugged, "it's not that uncommon fae hate lycans and humans alike I forgot what set them off about us but humans they just got left out of history like Arthur's sword they were left out." He sighed to the thought, "I haven't been back to the shop since the fateful night that I was turned."
