[IC] Alpha and Omega

"What would be an iron fae`s weakness?" Robin said smirking a little in disbelief. She`d never heard of an iron fae before it wasn`t exactly a common topic when the word of fae came up. All of this made her wonder about what had actually happened to her mother, better yet if her mother was even alive. When she would ask her father if he could feel her through the mate`s bond he`d always give her the answer that it was 'complicated'.

Mark frowned to that, "I don't know that since it doesn't say in the book." He sighed, "I'm just glad I have you by my side to figure all of this stuff out really even though I am not dominant or submissive for that fact."

Robin smiled, "being the dominate alpha type I am. Having you not be either is going to be a bit of something to get used too." She joked and turned around so her head was laying off the bed with her body on it. "Don`t think I`m letting you go anytime soon. I`ve been searching for my mate for over three years now."

Mark smirked, "I don't know maybe I'll just run off somewhere with no excuse." He joked, though he wondered what her reaction would be to that. He joked lightly on that, though he didn't know if she heard it as a joke.

Robin smirked, "I dare you to try." She said and laughed softly. The serious alpha had a soft playful side to her. It didn`t mean it was going to be a common occurrence to see though. The only reason she was letting him see the real her was because he was her mate. It was kind of natural to act yourself around your mate because you knew they wouldn`t shun you away.

Mark smirked, "nah I think I would get tied and gagged to something if I did try I'm not going to take that chance." He said with a shrug before lying down next to her, letting his hands rest on his stomach.

"Maybe not gagged but maybe tied." Robin joked and laughed beginning to feel light headed with the blood rushing to her head. She sat up and laid down correctly on the bed so the blood would stop going to her head. It was making her too dizzy.

Mark folded his arms around her, "probably of course though you wouldn't take me anywhere just keep me in one place and visit me from time to time of course." He said it with a small smile

"Don`t worry I`d make sure you got water and stuff." Robin said and laughed at this stupid joke. "I`m making you sound like you would be a plant." She joked and took a deep breath painfully filling her lungs with air. "I wonder when the wound on my heart will heal fully. I don`t expect it to be instant but it hurts like hell."

Make nodded to that, "before sighing take it easy I don't need you dying when you just found me." He said it under her, he had switched there positions to where he was under her.

Robin laid her head on his chest. "I`m trying not to push it. I`d be a waste if I died now and quite sad to be honest." She commented and closed her eyes. It felt like her heart was spending sharp pains every time it would beat in her chest and she could feel every pulse. It was a little creepy to be honest.

Mark nodded, but kept silent before a sigh made it passed his lips. "So wait behind a door your going to show me your true self or can it be in front of the pack also or no?" He didn't get that part really not by much.

"I`m not sure, I haven`t really ever let myself be fully myself around a pack. I have always felt that it make me look weak to act like that, but now I just really don`t know." Robin admitted thinking about it before sighing.

Mark sighed to that, "it wouldn't make you look weak robin if you weren't sure in your des idioms and how you say them then that makes you look weak not by how you act I've seen the real you and I'm saying now the real you isn't weak she's far from it I rather have this robin by my side in front of the pack instead of the other."

Robin opened her eyes and looked up at him. "I`ll try to act more like myself then, I just hope no one thinks weirdly of the sudden 180 in my personality. It`s going to be hard to be myself fully around them anyway at first."

Mark shrugged to that, then gave a soft smile running his fingers through her hair. "Sometimes I think I'm just like my father since I met a few people who knew him they said when it comes to people I care about I protect them with my life."

"I`m not surprised they would say that. I mean you pretty much almost took a bullet for me yet you barely knew me. You just knew you had to protect the people close to you. If your father was brave like that then you inherited some good qualities." Robin said softly.

Mark nodded to that, "it hurt but it was worth it." He sighed as he buried his face into her hair, "I may be like a strong guy or whatever the pack puts me under but I'm like any other person and everything I don't see what's special about me apart from being an omega."

Robin opened her eyes and again and looked at him. "Don`t talk like that, you are special. I can`t tell you how yet because we haven`t known each other very long but I do know that no matter what you`ll be special to me. Your special in other ways apart from being an omega because you are you, nothing less."

Mark gave a small smile before sighing, "alright I guess still don't see what's so special about a guy like me." He closed his eyes, swallowing some and taking a deep breath as he thought.
