[IC] Soul Eater: when madness ends, chaos rises

Allen watched Angelo's attacks, and each shot was met with another part of Myth's chain. As he came in close, however, Kalinda had beat him to it. Allen retreated away from the the two miesters' attacks, taking a small cut on his shoulder, and with several well-rehearsed motions a wall of chains formed between the witch-boy and the others. He didn't leave the pseudo-barrier there for long, however, and it burst outwards towards the two attacking him. They'd be forced to retreat a few steps before having a chance to move through the chains, either by a well time jump, or a good slice to deflect the incoming chains and climbing through quickly.

Angelo blood was pumping in his chest the only thing making him fight was the thought of anger and not wanting to flee. When Allen tried to use his chain wall to make a large attack at them Angelo called out "soul resonance!" And after the surge of energy Angelo had just enough time to use his gunblade slice a big enough hole in the chains to jump through and continue his attack on Allen...

Kalinda stood her ground, and at what seemed the last possible moment, she went low, and leaped passed apart of the chain, gaining entry, she managed to stay out of the chains grasp, she used all her skill, glad she maintained her flexibility amoung other things, and tried to get in closer to Allen, keeping Tori tucked in against her

Allen would grin as his opponents came inside his weapon's chains, and here the light from the sun would reduced due to the chains blocking the sun, as well as the shade of the tree. Allen's visage looked different than it had in the sunlight. He was taller, and the shadows were unnaturally thicker around the boy. "Don't you know what a trap is?" He yanked hard on Myth's handle, and the chains would begin to close back down around the other two miesters, his fear wavelength becoming more intense due to their proximity to a conduit for it. Allen would grin quite creepily at the two, though he somewhat expected them to find some way out of this attack, and if they didn't, well. Practice was practice, wasn't it? Even if it had to be forced upon them.

Angelo was getting even angrier if that was even possible and he barely had enough time to use his counter for Allen setting them up into a trap. Angelo spun the gunblade around and as he did red orbs appeared and when the chains got to close Angelo detonated the orbs causing the chains to go over Angelo rather then through him. Then Angelo went back onto the charge for Allen clearly not thinking clearly at this point and just wanted to slice up Allen for whatever reason. Allen did look creepy as hell but that just made Angelo more angry....

As the chains came in closer and closer, and Allen seem to beome more cocky, Kalinda just smiled slightly. and then she began to move. She twirled, and brought Tori up, smashing her against the chains as she spun, knowing she was trapping half of tori within the chains, but that didn't matter right then.

She didn't seem to care that Allen seemed to look creepy. Kalinda knew what true fear was, and she had seen worse then Allen. Perhaps she just needed to be reminded that the only fear that could control you was your own. Allen's was merely...trying to scare her and she had been letting it. Or that was how she thought of it. It was there, but she'd be damned if she let it control her.

Allen couldn't help but to grit his teeth a bit. He had hoped his trap would work, but he guessed he'd just have to improvise. The ever-growing chain that had wrapped around Tori but otherwise become mostly useless dissipated, freeing Kalinda's weapon, but giving Allen full use of his sword while still exerting his massive fear wavelength. He lunged towards Angelo, launching the tip of his weapon towards the other Miester, though enough to the side that it wouldn't skewer him. Following this move he stepped back again again and grabbed Myth's handle with two hands before yanking across, hoping to grab Angelo with part of the chain and dragging him into Kalinda's way. Allen knew they were going to be well within range to attack after this, and he was prepared to let the resonance drop as soon as the first blow was landed on him. It was more important to keep himself intact than it was to train them against the fear wavelength, which they seemed to be doing pretty well against at the moment.

Anger fueled Kalinda, and as Allen attacked, throwing Angelo in front of her, Kalinad spun, and leaped out the way, moving smoothly, Tori over one shoulder, slipping easily into a harness that was hidden there, to free Kalinda of the burden of holding her as she moved, twisting about, she brought herself closer to Allen, snatching Tori out of the harness, Kali brought her around, one of the blades zipping through the air towards Allen, only to stop just short of hitting him. Tori quivered in her hands, and Kalinda knew it was from Fear.

As Angelo was thrown by Allen he landed on a tree before taking a moment to push of against it and throw himself at Allen from a different direction. He knew he could feel it from the shaking of his gunblade that Maria was starting to get scared. However thankfully Lorenzo was able to keep her calm. Angelo knew this wasn't going to last much longer but he wanted to take Allen down! Angelo charged in getting ready to hit him...

Allen took in a sharp breath as Kalinda's weapon came just short of his ribs, and he ended his resonance with Myth, and shrugged. "Oh well." He'd say softly, looking at Tori. "Gotta say though, you did better than Angelo." He turned his gaze to the other meister, and should Angelo still be charging, Allen would wait for him to get close before suddenly shifting into a crouch and slamming the pommel of Myth into his stomach, followed by standing up and throwing him onto his back on the ground. Likely in pain, but not particularly injured. "Overall pretty good though. Kept your heads fairly well, though I could tell your weapons weren't holding on as well as you were, but there are explanations to that." He smiled a bit, and would let Myth revert to his human form next to him for now.

As soon as Allen allowed that she had completed the exercise well, Kalinda allowed Tori to change back to her human form. Kalinda allowed the girl to wrapped her arms around her, returning the hug until the Tori's shivering died down.

"Angelo's more brutish. He needs to be more tactically, rather then just charging in" Kalinda said softly, as she stroked Tori's hair, and gave the girl a squeeze. "You did well tori" she said to her, "Thank you for managing to stay in weapon form"

Angelo groaned as he was quickly flipped and landed on the ground after he got hit in the stomach with Allens pommel."oh I'm sorry I'm not tactical when I'm pissed" Angelo groaned out telling Lorenzo and Maria they could change back and Maria hugged Lorenzo until she felt safe again "you guys did great" I told them smiling

Allen looked over at Angelo as he got up. "Working on being more lucid while angry would probably be a good idea. Regardless, you did better than you did in our first fight, anyway. Assuming that isn't entirely by virtue of Kalinda being there too." He looked back over at Kalinda. "Anyway, do you five want to go again? I might be able to do it one more time. Resonating isn't exactly easy, and me and Myth have got some additional inhibitions that don't make it any easier." Myth looked over at Tori, making sure she was okay, before looking back at Allen.

Kalinda shook her head, "Not right now. I don't think Tori could take it so soon, and there's no point pushing ourselves if we will just cause more harm then good" She said, letting Tori go, who gave Myth a smile, even if it was somewhat shaky, when he looked over at her, to reassure him that she was okay.

"Let's find something chocolate"

Angelo sighed once he recovered from that hit and he said "yeah I think we did enough work for now. I say we relax tool tomorrow and go on our first job together" Angelo said with a grin smiling at Maria and Lorenzo as he went over to them waiting to see what Allen would do

Allen had difficulty hiding a sigh, but otherwise not outwardly complain. "Alright, if that's what you all want to do, I'll be at home." He turned to leave, and Myth began to move to follow, but he shook his head. "Go ahead and join then for whatever adventure around town they have planned. I plan on going and practicing on my own for a while." He gave them all a half-hearted wave to them as he walked off towards his apartment, and Myth would give everyone an awkward look, afraid Allen's actions would cause more problems.

Kalinda just gave a shrug, "Well. lets find something hot to eat, shall we? That should make us feel better" She said, grabbing what she had brought with her, Kalinda started out the park, looking back to make sure everyone was following. If they were, she would lead them to a cafe close by, quickly grabbing a table

See you tomorrow Allen" Angelo called to him as he left. Angelo then followed Kalinda to the cafe she had in mind. Angelo wouldn't mind getting something to eat after getting hit in the gut by Allen after all.

Myth would happily follow everyone to the cafe and sit down with everyone, giving a pleasant half-smile. Today had certainly gone a lot better than the previous one, though he was afraid relations were only going to deteriorate even more the next time he had one of his 'days'. He decided he would just have a small coffee and maybe a biscuit.

Kalinda took orders, and then just ordered whatever she wanted, adding sandwiches to the order and then paying for it. She took the number back to the table, sitting down.

Tori laid her head on the table. The young girl was still a little pale, causing dark shadows to stand out around her eyes. It was clear that she had been forced just a little bit too far, and that she was slow in bouncing back. But she still managed a smile.

"is everyone okay?" Kalinda asked, gently stroking back Tori's hair from her face.
