At first, the universe was darkness and void. Time, matter and light did not exist.

And the children were wandering around the endless void aimlessly, but wherever they went, the darkness seemingly grew and grew in size.
And Balsis their father gathered them around, and Balsis saith: "Let us create a world with light and sky and sun and moon and land and seas and plants and life; for it is your universe as much as it is mine or your descendants; and it should be our objective to generate the best world possible; But remember: should I or any other child see you perform anything to hinder creation, you will be judged, and if found guilty, I will personally drag you to the underworld."

He looked at all of his children sternly. Then Balsis extended his hands as far as he could, and put them back together in a flash, creating a loud CLAP, which echoed across the void. Tens of millions of small stones spawned in seemingly random spots in the void, gravitating towards a point just to the left of Balsis. The stones molded together, creating a boulder, ever growing. Eventually, Balsis made a “fist” gesture on both his hands, and not one moment afterwards, the small stones stopped spawning.

The giant boulder began smoothing itself, turning itself from a rough shape to a spherical, rock core, and the Earth was created.
Balsis then motioned his children to start working.

Immediately after Balsis was done creating the Earth, Ybris appeared high above it looking for a place to start creating life. He knew that at the moment he wouldn't be able to make anything complicated, as most plants required the still non-existent sun to survive, and when it came to creating animals he would need the help of Finnos. That said he believed he could still do something on his own.

Ybris looked over the planet searcher for the largest body of water he could find. when he saw what he was looking for he headed for it's bottom. So deep underwater that the sun would never reach down there he would start on his first creation. While he was doing this mostly for practice, theW tiny beings he made here would still play an important role in his later creations.

With a snap of his fingers Ybris made the first microorganisms. Each and every one of his creations was so small that to the naked eye they were invisible, but the God of Life sensed they were there.

Looking down at the neatly created earth Artis shook his head, this was no good. It was then he let a bit of himself free, and the earth became an idly shaped ball with mountains and continents instead of neatly divided into sections. He used his chaos to let the waters draw together into seas and lakes, and to take the sphere and make it a real planet.

Then he looked down into a particularly big body of watter, Maybe an ocean! In it he found his brother's creation, but he found it just as lacking as his father's. He used a bit of his chaos and gave the gift of mutations unto the organisms, allowing his brother's creation to really take off. Quickly he took back up to above the earth, and looking down he saw his influences on his father's and brother's creations, and it was good.

Finnos's young face smiled with glee, his mind coursing with ideas on what to create. He patiently waited his turn, however, knowing that without a sun his creations could never prosper. He lingered, suspended in mid-air, watching the earth take shape and form. Finnos regarded with admiration his siblings Ybris and Artis work, creating micro-organisms he would eventually bend to his will, forming creatures that would swim in the waters all about the earth, and roam upon the land his father formed. A childish laugh rang out in the void, as he was eager to start his task.

So it had begun, a beginning of an end.
From the endless void of nothing, creation awakened.
Within the first few seconds of time, a singularity was made.

Reaching into the fabric of existence, a god enfolded the edges of the shroud that was reality into his design. Stretching the fabric over the remaining void of all voids, reality swallowed the void within its core. The infinitesimal corners were twisted, coiled into a spiraling descent and bound by their own unwinding threads. The fabric shaped itself as the god stitched his design into this precipice, the overlapping pieces forming the descending layers of what was. Finally did the god weave at the central threads, pulling the stings as they braided themselves upwards and knotted the anchor which locked reality into place.

"Here, where Synn has enrapt the perfect void at this fringe of reality since the dawn of creation, shall there be a place for Synn to rule over as the absolute over his subjects."

The god made his decree. By this mandate, he had formed his Pit of Pandemonium, and within his tower of strings Synn watched the rest of his siblings invoke their own domains to create the universe. Alone, he was no god of creation as he retreated into the sanctum he had just made. They would seek him out when he was required, when they find the world to be far greater than they can manage: when they need a God of Control.

Amos viewed his Father and siblings' creation. A planet called earth. It was sparse at the moment, and need much more divine intervention. "Looks good." Amos said, a blank look on his face. He looked upon the land, and gave the earth sand. On the coasts, he made beaches, and where there was nothing he made deserts, and oasis's. Each fine particle of sand was his own creation, and he was happy. Then, under the ocean he placed his sand, taking care not to ruin his brother's creations. "Hmph. Is it alright?" He asked. He already knew the answer, of course, but still it was rude not to ask.

Draumur stood stoicly as he listened to his father while his other siblings gather in around him. The dark cloaked figure marveled as several millions of stones materialize in thin air and then slowly, began forming a spherical boulder in front of them. His father called it a universe, and what a curious thing it is! Draumur studied the floating boulder with such interest. It looked quite bare, yet, it possesses a certain stark beauty that draws the god's attention to it. And for the first time in eons, Draumur felt incredibly excited.

But only then he noticed the significant change in the void. Once there has been a pitch black shroud covering each one of them, but now, some sort light has started to seep into the thick blackness, a light that seems to be coming from the orb of rock his father has created. He was a little impressed at what this little orb can do.

Draumur watched as his other siblings began to sprinkle life and shape to the universe while he waited for his turn. 'Not quite soon.' he surmised. He presides over a whole different realm unlike Ybris and Finnos, or Empyron that his not much of help in creating and forming. But at the spark of life he knew his time draws nearer. He glanced over at Cyrilla impatiently. In order for him to establish his influence he must work with his sister, and she seem not in much hurry about it.

"Bestow now your gifts sister, and I shall make it the best gift the universe has ever received." Draumur said impatiently, his form shifting in every other word he utters.

Spatium watch as her brothers created the oceans and the start of life with a catty smile. For being mischievous and fun-loving she was the one to create rules and laws thought out existence, which would be known as the laws of physics. Can't have fun without bending the rules, she thought. From her starlight body she creates stars and comets and her favourite work the Earth's Moon or Luna as she calls it, it is a sight of beauty to behold for life at night once the sun exist which she cannot create at the moment due to it being the job of another.

She teleported to many places thought out the universe quickly to see if her rules were in check, which they were. Now it's time to wait and see. Only time can tell if any creation is smart enough to understand her rules. This will be fun to see, She thought with a grin.

Empyron was born late. He looked down on the world. He was not merely the god of the Sun, he was the god of Light. Laying the foundations for Paradise, a Celestial City was made in the Heavens, which Empyron breathed, a separate realm from the Void that is known as Space in the Universe. Empyron's will extended forever after death for mortals who were worthy. What was worthy? Empyron knew only, for now. The first generations of mortals would enter Paradise with less of a need for work towards eternal life. Empyron then created a messenger for all the gods. The Heavenly Phoenix. Empyreal, the Heavenly Phoenix was named. . . was mightier than demi gods. Not yet a deity, however, the mighty creature would soar to and fro in and out of dimensions and realms among mortals and gods.

Artis grinned at the confusion around him, his brothers and sisters were never quite so good as he was at keeping things straight. He saw that many were making their own little planes of existence, so he snaps his fingers and a door Manifests next to him. He opens that door, and looks inside to find his realm. The door *pops* out of existence as he closes it after him. His world of madness was perfect and out of time. He didn't have to do anything, or maybe he did, he didn't care. In any case he lounges happy in his throne and snaps again making a can of soda appear as he smiled. Thare weren't any inhabitants here yet, or so it seemed, but their would be... He liked to keep his perception down to the level of most of those other fools. This world was his perversion of Empyron's paradise, and it held a certain touch to it because of its relation to him. His plane was infinite, he would relay have to look around sometime.

Now that light and plant life were created, Finnos cracked his knuckles. "I will make, to please you father, beasts that will roam the earth, heavenly beings that will cast themselves over it, and monsters below in the watery depths." Finnos outstretched his hand, calling up some micro-organisms from the waters. With inquistive eyes he studied them, then after a moment they all simultaneously broke off into pairs. One by one, each pair began to form a being, big and small. Some were thrown skywards, and erupted in a flurry of feathers, flesh and bone. "Birds." He said proudly. Afterwards he outstretched his other hand, and brought his two hands together rapidly. Within each clap a pair was placed, and when he parted his hands there a furry being remained. "Animals..."He did this countless of times, scattering them about the earth so they could procreate and fill the lands. And that they did.
With a thoughtful expression, his eyes turned down towards the oceans and rivers. "And fishies.." His giggling laughter filled the air as suddenly fish and other creatures of water began to come into existence with each playful clap of his hands. When he finished, he was satisfied.

He pursed his lips childishly, knowing that this last animal would take far more thought and work. He wanted to impress his father and his siblings. Carefully and deliberately, he began to mold the final two organisms in his own image. They would be called Man, and they would fill the earth and subdue it. But he wanted them to be more than that.
"Sister, if you would." he said sweetly, addressing Cyrilla, "I beg you give them your intelligence."

And Balsis watched his Children create life and light and the moon and sand and water and all that is helping Balsis - and his children's - purpose. Balsis materialized on a beach, somewhere on the center of the Earth, maybe a bit south of it - taking the form of an old man, about 1.8m, with a curved back, a walking stick, a long beard and disappearing white hair. Balsis crouched towards the sand, feeling its texture in his hand. "Magical.", he thought, as he dropped the warm sand back onto the Earth. "And I shall call this beach 'Fruit', for here I first felt the fruits of my children's creations."

Slowly, the old, human man disappeared, and Balsis returned to its invisible, flying form. As he went to greet his children for their hard work, he felt a weird disturbance in the unlit void. Could he be imagining? A tower, seemingly created from the darkness of the universe? As Balsis came closer and closer, he could see a figure with wings. He hardly remembers such abnormal figure. He continued towards it, and there it was clear - Synn, God Of Control - one of his children, barricaded itself in a tower of darkness.

Moving right in front of him, Balsis asked Synn in rage: "What is the meaning of this?! Why aren't you helping your brothers and sisters with The Creation?"

Spatium was teleporting and shadowing Balsis movements. She was in the form which shall be known as a Cat, her fur was white as snow and glowed a soft green almost like an aurora borealis, even without having eyes on her face she could see all throughout space. The First god was speaking to himself, saying how 'Magical' existence was and called the first place he touched 'Fruit'. She simply smiled, what a silly man, you like him.

Once he vanished from sight, she glowed green and sparked as she teleported away from 'Fruit' and her siblings pet project Earth. She reappeared on top of Synn's Tower. She noticed this place right as it was created, but she wanted to see how long it would take any of her siblings or the Old god to notice it. Not that long to her surprise. The old god was easy to fallow. She watched the old god questioned her Sibling, Synn, god of Control. She smiles a catty smile with a giggle can be heard from her at-like form. She wants to see how this will turn out.

Artis watched his sister follow his father across the black void of space. He loved to see how her fur blended into the backdrop of her domain, she looked like an outline of herself rather then a full being. He had known from the begining that the youngest sibling would be trouble, both of them. Happily he looks over other seens, watching how his touch made existence so much more interesting. With a flick of his hand he puts a peice of pure chaos in the path of a roaming planetoid, which made it break into pieces. One fragment flew right were he wantedit to go, straight at his sister.

Petty creation, without the need to be subjugated, without thought and intellect.
They were but beasts created out of chaos and life, without direction nor guidance.
They were free by their ignorance, yet oppressed by their creators.
The Ald-Father found it pleasing.

Synn watched as the Ald-Father name the first place of his descent into creation, far off in his tower as distant as distance could be at the edges of all existence. The appearance of The One, was neither surprising nor unnerving. Like a father come to berate a child, the One had stormed into the Pit.

"For all seems to be under Control."

This was the reply Synn gave. Did the Ald-Father expect him to partake in creation? Did the others require a task master to instruct them or a leader to guide them?

Tick, tock, tick, tock...

It was possible to hear Velrus' ticking noises already, serving as an indicator of his now-everlasting presence.

As the rest of the gods began manipulating their own spheres of influence, Velrus too was performing his own duties. By simply existing, he was allowing time to flow naturally. As long as his heart beat, nothing would be truly stationary; eventually, things which currently were, would decay in time. This was not his only job, and he was already taking into account every single detail which had occurred so far, and awaited the completion of the "Earth", as they liked to call it. In his mind, multiple pathways appeared, all potential outcomes of what could happen in the future, but only one would be chosen. Even now, Velrus was able to peer into the different planes which dictated 'what could have been', although he was yet to remove anything from these planes.

He knew that would came later.

This place was so terribly bright, even before the others had perceived the first hint of light. This... what was it they called it? Color? Whatever it was, it disturbed Nihil. There was nothing he could weave, nothing he could do as of now, aside from brood on the recent happenings. His thoughts were scattered about the universe, with no clear point of origin. But without the ability to create, or permanently destroy, Nihil was useless. Instead of watching this foul existence come into being, Nihil attempted to revert himself back into the nothing he was borne from. That proved to be a mistake, seeing as how when he returned to this foul existence, he found himself plagued by new thoughts: thoughts reminding him of how unnatural he was, as well as how wrong it was for him to exist.

Unable, and now unwilling as well, to manipulate the newly created fabric of existence, Nihil was forced to watch as the peace he once knew was torn asunder. Balsis and his children weaved things into existence, knowingly or not destroying everything Nihil had known and held dear. It was like a bad joke, being able to understand what it is to be, and what it is to not be; and loathing the fact that you understand this. This place was loud, bright, and utterly disgusting. His thoughts took on terrible tones, and in time, perhaps they would be the source of hopelessness among many of the lesser beings.

It was not his fault that the perfect order of nothing was tainted, nor was it fault that he was formless and his thoughts scattered seemingly infinitely, thus it was not his fault that his thoughts may take root in whatever Balsis and his children had created. One of his thoughts found itself taking in all that Balsis and his children had done, and he found himself sickened by their creations. Creation was unnatural, though he was helpless to this plight.

Another of his thoughts reached out to find a place devoid of this taint, but even in the places that Balsis and his children had not yet meddled, he found it all too bright, all too loud, and all too crowded. Though the others might not realize it, even in the places they considered empty, there existed some minute trace of something, echoing on for infinity; but Nihil realized it all too well, he knew that here there was no true resemblance of the once infinite absence here.

Nihil’s hopelessness only caused more thoughts to appear. To some, they would become known as Wrath, or Sloth. But to him, it was Envy and Lust. He longed for the infinite nothing to return. Though he did not know it yet, Nihil had already been driven mad by existence. Others might not realize it either, for he was born mad into this feeble thing known as existence. The child of Balsis, Artis his name was, was chaotic and mad. But his madness was nothing like Nihil’s. Hopelessness is what it would become known as, in time. Despair. The word did not matter to Nihil. But they would call the apex of his madness Wrath, for it would manifest as hatred towards the self and loathing of existence. Nihil did not pity the poor souls who would be afflicted by it; instead he would embrace them as those whom had realized the truth.

While Nihil was the God of Absence, he would never truly embody it. He was the closest candidate, however, being able to recall true absence and the time before Balsis and his children dared to trespass the sacred absence. But it was also a title that would come to represent the absence of hope and joy that Balsis and his children’s creations would come to know, should they bear witness into the thoughts of the nihilistic and hopeless being. Perhaps one day, should he manage to undo creation and existence, then he would be able to return to that original state of Absence, and truly be the God of Absence. But until that day, he would take on a much more passive role, watching as his thoughts slowly twisted and contorted the very essence of hope into nothing more than a hopelessness that consumed the minds of those lacking the will to ignore it.

Anger, desolation, pain.

These feelings filled Slatera. He was, of course, not being watched by Balsis, of course. Even Balsis would not consider Slatera one of his children. Slatera was simply a result from the creation of the other gods. While the other were made pure, he was accidentally created out of their impurity. Some of the other children had seen him a while ago, but they would all flee out of disgust for his appearance was monstrous. All except for Artis. It seemed that Artis never cared about his appearance. Or ever noticed Slatera. Didn't really matter, though.

He watched as they created beaches, birds, little tiny fleshsacks, plants, and the cosmos. While watching, he couldn't help but think of the purity they had created. Such a pure earth... Impurity must be cast down upon it, he thought. He descended to the earth, and quickly hid upon its land. While no one was watching, he began lurking around, looking for something. After some time, he saw what he was looking for. A rather "cute" looking bird resting on the ground. He leapt out at it quickly, and before it could take off, he grabbed it with two of his four hands. He held it up while looking at it. In his other two hands were his cages. They held his power. They made sure his power didn't run free. A symbol appeared in the two cages. This was the Mark of Atrophy. After the mark began to burn in the cages, Slatera began to cough up a black-powder like substance. The bird tried to turn its head out of it, but it couldn't leave Slatera's grip. This bird seemed to change. It became much less cute. Its beak became sharper. Its wings, larger. The bird's feathers turned black as coal. It seemed to fall to the ground, dead when Slatera loosened his grip.

The bird, after a short moment, seemed to spring up. It was confused. What did it want? What did it need? It needed to eat. The bird tried to eat some grass, but couldn't. It was just regurgitated. The bird saw another bird. One of its old kind. It looked appetizing. The bird wanted to eat that. It wanted to eat it now. The black bird quickly stretched its wings. After two flaps, it shot up into the air at the "cute" bird. The cute bird was not made for speed. The black bird quickly slammed its talons into the cute bird's back, causing the cute bird's wings to be sliced open. It quickly fell to the ground as the black bird dove after it again. It grabbed the body of the cute bird, and began to fly against the ground, causing the cute bird's feathers to tear off. After that, its skin began to be torn off by the grass, leaving a large bloodied trail. The black bird stopped. The cute bird was still alive, writhing around in pain. The black bird gave one last coup de grace, and crushed the cute bird's head inside of its massive talons. The carcass looked appetizing to the bird. It ate the flesh and organs of the cute bird with glee. But, it wanted more. The black bird shot up again in hopes of finding new food.

Slatera laughed at the birds hunting. It was truly impure. Such a creature could not have been created by one of those "pure" gods. His body slowly became dust that disappeared in the grass. He was leaving, as his first job was done.

A mark as subtle as Cyrilla seemed near cryptic, or without form, and so too were the influences of her father and siblings. However, even in the thunder of creation, a soft hum shimmered in the complex weave of her mentality, her emotions. She admired them, each for their sources of essence and the foundations for their creations, and as she watched with silence and amusement she could hear the inevitable request to deliver what only she could: knowledge. The creatures below were beautiful in an ignorant fluency, yet she loved them as she loved herself, but the true depth of her curiosity and affection lay with the likeness created later. “I hear you,” she whispered in a loving tone. “I…see you.”

In the partnership of her siblings, Cyrilla collapsed upon herself, sending the inevitable seed of potential in the masses about. She gleamed like a tear in the night, so very much connected to those that could perceive…and will perceive. However, she could not accept that in her own right, instead looking to her siblings to mark the way ahead of the created. “From this day, the seed of wisdom will call out for us…and the unknown. So let it be written, so let it be done.”

"For all it seems under control", Synn answered.
As Balsis was trying to decypher Synn's statement, Spatium teleported on top of the tower.
"I don't know what you mean, Synn, but I don't like the sound of that. Would you like it to be Chaos? Do you not agree with The Cause? Choose your words wisely, child, you have a witness." Balsis said, pointing at Spatium.
The ethereal form of Balsis crossed his hands, anxiously waiting for an answer. In the meantime, looking behind him at his children's creations, he sees that the Earth started rotating around itself. He didn't seem to notice the creation of time. "The... Spinning... Of our planet... Is it of your doing?"
